Oh wow ❤ I could work with this. I’ve watched resin artist and it seemed so complicated but this looks so much easier for my old tired brain. 😂
It’s a fun technique and if making many at the same time a fairly quick way to make keychains and similar. Thank you Margaret, enjoy 😊
Those are so cute. You could make refrigerator magnets as well. Name tags for kids book bags great job.❤😊
So many possibilities, hope you give it a go, thanks 😊
I love this idea. The projects can be unlimited. Thank you for sharing
It sure can, I have a lot of fun with these, enjoy, thanks 😊

Hi Diana, good to hear you’ll make some, another fun project, thank you for always watching and commenting 😁❤️ Have a fab weekend
@@RedRockingBird You too, Sarah. 😊
I have used basically the same method with press dried pansies. You have to be very careful with the flowers, because they are very fragile. They, too, make nice earnings or other jewelry items.
Wonderful, enjoy your crafting, endless possibilities with resin, thanks 😊
These are great! Thank you. I can see making them into pendants for children as well.
Yes lots of possibilities, thanks for watching 😊
Thank you so clever. Yes, I willbe giving them ago. X

Brilliant ❤
Happy to hear you think so, thank you 😊
Fantastic idea thank you for sharing ❤
Happy to hear you enjoyed, thank you 😊
I’m wanting to make bookmarks this way. I have several bookmark molds, but filling them, makes them too thick for a lot of books. I could either pour the mold halfway full, then I’d have to trim around the edges. Or I could try this method. Thanks for showing different ways to make things!
With something as large as a bookmark you might see some bending from the heat during the curing process, test one and see what you think. Hard to get resin that thin and even isn’t it! Best of luck
WOW...I now need to buy an ink jet printer :P AMAZING! Thank you so very much!
Do you have a laser jet printer?
Great work loce your pens and scoring tools this idea here is fab ive bern doing this with 3d stickers making fab charms
amazing, always fun to be creative and try new things ❤
Beautiful 🤩😍
😍 thank you 😊
Ill bet you could make the holes before you put the resin on, if you dont own a Dremel or if youre not comfortable around power tools. Ive seen little hand drills too, but Dremel just does it like no other :)
you could yes, I just find a small hole is easier to drill after ❤
Very cute😊
Thank you fellow Reeves 😊
Hello Maria, that’s wonderful to hear thank you, enjoy all your creative time and projects, a big hello to Mexico, Sarah 😊
So wait, I couldn’t tell??? Does the thin and thicker plastic backing stay on or get peeled off??? Love this!!! Thank you!!!
I leave it in and then seal the side with the resin too, thanks 😊
Very nice❤
Glad you enjoyed, thank you 😊
Very creative and clever! Can you tell how waterproof these might be? Thanks, Sarah! ♥
Thank you, yes they are fully waterproof
Magnets, mobiles, all sorts of other stuff ;)
Yes, most definitely, good to hear you are inspired 😊❤️
Hi good afternoon wow nice 💋🥰
Hi 👋 thanks glad you enjoyed the project
U welcome ma'am 🙂
Wonder if regular stickers would work on these sheets? And, how would they work if we uv resin'd them then inserted inside a bevel? Or any suggestions on stickers in bevels?
They do, the heat of the resin wants to make things curl a bevel would make it even easier
So adorable!! I’ve been a rubber stamper forever, and I have a permanent ink I can use directly on the acetate! I’m definitely going to try it! Where did you get the tiny drill? 😊❤👍🏻
Amazing, did you try it yet? How did it go? I got the mini drill here: amzn.to/3jzB9FO scroll half way down page
Thank you ❤
Luv it! So, as long as we remember to seal around the edges, the resin won't pop off away from the plastic, correct? 🥰
Yes that's right, as you can see in video it's quick and easy with something simple like a cocktail stick/tooth pick. Sealed all round and it won't go anywhere 😍 thank you Carol
@@RedRockingBird really a great idea! And ty for getting back to me so quickly! I rly must try this! Brilliant! 🫂💕
@@carolstewart1704 enjoy, thank you and have a lovely weekend ❤️
@@RedRockingBird you too sweetie!! 🥰

Hi, welcome 😊❤️
Brilliant Sarah,
Does the resin not want to "fall off" the edge of the acetate?
Take care Sarah.
Cheers, Huw
Hi Huw, because of the viscosity it domes up, avoid cutting too sharp a corner as it pulls more towards the middle, so rounder cuts work best, but the shapes here all worked with slightly rounded edges. If you don’t get level then yes it could pour off, I find it easier with the uv resin as you get to cure it straight away and that one of mine is thicker.
I’ve done this with epoxy resin before and when I came back to them a couple had been knocked and poured off. But epoxy works great. Just make sure to seal the edges at the end to attach both sides together otherwise they might pop off the plastic. Thanks 😊
After it’s all cured, my UV resin comes off the acetate. I tried doing the edges but I’m not as neat
@@Rob-jn6bj Thanks
Questioñ: I can not find the transparent vinyl here. Could you use contact paper
Paper will curl, best use something thicker that will hold the resin at the edges too, I often use a recycled plastic jotter cover
I'm going to use baking paper instead of a silikon mat? Is this ok?
It may get stuck, let me know how you get on ☺️
So if u don't have the drill to put the hole what should I do
You could make a hole before adding resin and resin around the hole 🤍
Does the clear plastic need to be acetate or can it be other kinds of plastic? Great video!
Anything you can cut really I think, thicker works better as it can bend with the heat otherwise, just make sure the edges are all sealed after otherwise the resin could pop off, enjoy 😊
And thank you 🤍
@@RedRockingBird Thank for your answer💐
@@maiaallman4635 you’re welcome, happy crafting
Have you painted rocks/pebbles?
Hi Lisa, I have indeed, I often like to paint them as birds and owls, do you? ❤
I must have missed it, but did you take the items off of the plastic sheet once it was done under the uv light?
They stay there as they have the design on, so no you didn’t miss anything I didn’t take the plastic off
@@RedRockingBird Thanks.
Can you add dried flowers to the resin?
You sure can, you can see mini dried flowers 🌸 in the Louise and Sarah designs, thank for watching
pressed flowers here too: ua-cam.com/video/CdkRGI5AVUY/v-deo.html
How about using normal resin? Do you think it will.work?
More chances of dripping with export resin if you knock it while curing etc but try it see what works for you
Can i make it with epoxy resin?
The beauty of using uv is you can cute it right away so it doesn’t get knocked and drip, you can of course try with epoxy, make sure it’s on a completely level surface to make sure it doesn’t drip, and leave overnight
Don't the resin slip off the plastic
If you just put the right amount it domes nicely so no doesn’t slip off if everything is perfectly flat too
Hello! ❤
Hi, thanks for watching
No hardware links ?! 👎
I got mine in the kits amzn.to/3TP60vp searching key chains, I’ll have to add some direct links 👍
