Watched all the way through wondering how they put chili on it. Turns out it is a chili sauce and not what I would think of as chili for a hot dog but still looked like it would be good. Kind of a mix of pizza bread stick and hot dog.
Yeah I agree, it was a chili paste of sorts, but this was still amazing! I'm sure they could make a super hot dog with a real chili to top it off. We made all beef Nathans hot dogs in the air fryer, Put them on a bun, added a little bit of chili, sealed with cheese on the top and finished in the air fryer. Came out great!!

I am in my 70’s and we had these quite often in the states back as early as the 1950’s….. i made them for my kids like my mother did for me….. it is obvious that an American stationed in Korea, has shown them several classic recipes that they just expanded on for a business…..

That looks delicious, though I'm not sure about that sweet cream cheese filling. If it was a ketchup and mustard filling with that hotdog, then it'd be a big thumbs up from me. I've noticed that Korean cooking adds sweetness to a lot of their savoury foods that you wouldn't think would be a match.
Only in street foods and restaurant, most people at home do not use much sugar or have sugar laden dessert's. So it fits what almost everyone would like to be paying extra for food on the go or with friends/family/business etc etc that sweet boosts sales a good 20% I would not doubt it for a single second

I spent 2 years on the DMZ (2 consecutive tours Jan 99- Jan 01 1/506 Cp Greaves). I would go down to Seoul quite often on Saturdays. I wish I knew of these then because I definitely would have gone and bought some.
I don’t know how the Koreans serve this, but the prep was totally amazing. Making a fresh bun around a hotdog isn’t close to the regular standard. I like their sauces adds to these hot dogs. But, really this is like 5 steps up on the hot dog standard. The only thing I didn’t see was their hot dog making process. These dogs would be awesome serving any group of people.
Those look really good, until I remember the cream cheese, sugar and heavy whipping cream mixture in them (which is the same icing as on cinnamon rolls). 😬
Ended up making these for dinner last night. I used croissant dough and whipped cream cheese. Then air fryed them for about 7 minutes. And glazed with honey and garlic sauce. They were amazing
From what I saw, they used a pizza dough; flattened it out to fit the hot dog; added some sweetened cream cheese; then the hot dog; then they cut slits across the top; added a layer of mozzarella cheese (press down). Then they separated them and put them in a fridge to allow them to set up and rise a bit more; they they cooked them for around 11 minutes at 163 C/ 325 F (or till golden brown). Then they added some garlic butter (seasoned) and what looked like chili sauce. Confusing part to me is the sweet cream cheese, but I'd imagine it won't hurt anything to leave it out. Hope I was helpful.

After seeing the "chili" was just a light coating of an asian-style chili sauce, and not... chili... I give it only a 9.8/10. Could have been a 50/10!
