HANDBRAKE DIY TABLE MOUNT | DESK ATTACHMENT FOR EBRAKE

- Make this easy DIY table mount to attach a handbrake to your desk or table for sim racing.
This designed is easy to setup and removable without the need to drill holes in the table or have additional clamps to mount it.
The clamps of the shifter hold the table mount in place, a similar mounting method as used in the orange handbrake video.
This is a good cheap option for those who do not want to have a permanent fixture.
To make this you will need:
MDF, wood or metal to make the base.
A bracket
Various nuts, bolts and washers to mount the handbrake.
Optional - spray paint.
You can also use a clamp like this one

I literally am just saving up now... first I ripped apart a keyboard and cut one of those lamp thing in half, but never got to finish it for the previous handbrake, now just saving up to build this one or buy it from you.

You should try to hook up a motorcycle brake calipers to the handbrake to get a proper feel in it
there is the third option how to build handbrake and it is by real hydraulics. That's the best one you can ever build.

Question I’m looking into a universal desk mount but it lowers the shifter and brake so they feel better did u have any issues with shifter being raised up like this tho?

I know this is an older video but i was wondering how much force is needed to pull the handbrake and whether it will wobble my desk, i have a basic ikea linmonn
I didn't have any issues, but you can use different strength springs, or strengthen up the desk.
