i wish there was more vapire stories that were more cyberpunk i get tired of the fae romances. i wish there were more stories that focused on the feeling of the change in the body or leaned more into anne rice.
While not cyberpunk, I'm currently have a blast reading Jay Kristoff's EMPIRE OF THE VAMPIRE series. It's structured in the Anne Rice interview style with a Victorian gothic feel to it, has a modern voice, is set in a secondary French-influenced world, and is epic fantasy in scope rather than fae romance.
