    I love watching your technique. You are so creative!
    But I would love to see how you finished the backs. You baked the backing on tile which (for me) always looks ugly with patchy shiny spots. How do you make the back look "professional"?

    • @laurajschiller
      @laurajschiller  4 місяці тому

      Thank you so much!! I understand about the patchy on the backside, and much of this is my impatience to creating all on tile. The backside is always a problem for me and unless I place it onto a piece of paper (Which could curl depending on the paper)...or other surface...my only other solution is to sand and buff the backside. Again, I am not very patient, and most of the time when I sell my pieces, people are not very concerned about the backside. Their attention is almost always on what it looks like from the front. Another factor here is even though I create and sell jewelry, my main focus for many years has been clay on eggshell, miniatures, flowers, etc. I only came over to the "dark side" LOLOLOL!! recently. I wish I was more of an authority here for you on a nice backside finish to jewelry...but I believe many artisans in polymer clay have a similar problem. I do hope this helps you some....but and always, sending you my hugs!! :)
