I think one thing this channel doesn't get enough credit for is the audio mastering. Its phenomenal. So many car channels struggle with it, CarWow are one of the worst as they put a high pass filter on all of their outside shots and it ruins the engine sounds. Whereas the sounds of the engines on this channel always comes across so well, and given the difficult mic positions for getting a good engine sound amidst all the wind and road noise, its a real talent. Props!

It's F**king Eargasmic! That's awesome, man! At one point, I had genuinely considered a project Alfa. My concept involved an F20C from a donor Honda S2000. Not sure if anyone has a running finished version yet, but it would sure make for such an incredible (and totally reliable) driving experience. My hat's off to your build! Cheers 🍻

That was great half an hour, thank you. P.s. 911K at 4-8k RPM sounds like pure pleasure, an eargasm. Over 9k its subjectively uncomfortable, but i guess its meant to be this way.

Tuthill is the thin line between lunatic and genius! 🤣🤣
As an avid Nebraska Cornhuskers fan I approve! 😅❤
HAAAMOND!
I read this in my head in a screaming CLARKSON! voice.
“HAAAAMOND YOU BLOODY IDIOT!”
Hammond cameo contributes to my fan theory that Andy Wilman secretly produces Throttle House.
I love anything by Alfaholics but that 911K is utterly stunning.
Once again, this proves that we don't need heavier, more powerful, and more complex cars. We need lighter, simpler, and more straightforward cars. Cars should be cars, not a second apartment that you can drive around in.
THIS video is perfect proof of why I always have, and always will, drive an Alfa Romeo as my fun car. NOTHING feels the same. I love my 06 GT 3.2 Busso V6's bellow so much, I go out for drives just to hear it.
Sometimes I rev up my 981 Spyder in my garage for the same reason 🎉❤
Busso sound is beyond comparison...

Hanging out with the Hammster, and a car guy’s car guy driving his dream car.
Damn it guys… well done. 👌
This video was ridiculous. Everything about it. The production quality seems higher even than the grand tour - every single shot in both the car segments was so so beautiful, especially that panning shot of the Alfa. Shivers down my back. You guys are crazy.
So proud of you guys!!!! - I have been watching pretty much since the start. I have said it dozens of times, you guys are - and have been for quite some time, THE best car content on any platform. Kudos to you al!!
Has a better car review video ever been made? Perfect subjects, perfectly shot, perfectly presented, with real emotion.
So much gratitude and respect for what the Throttle House team has created. Thank you!
Oh man this video brought me to tears. What with Richard Hammond in it, Thomas getting to drive his dream car and just when I thought it couldn't get better, James revved that 911. And I didn't even notice you guys got 3 million subscribers. Congratulations! Must be because I've been watching you guys for almost 4 years it made me really happy. Wishing you a lot more success❤
6:30 to 6:50.
Pure bliss. I felt that “oh my god” deep in my core. Go Thomas and James! Cheers to the next 3 million that will join the TH army!
I love everything about this episode. And when the cars outpace the witty banter of you two (pimp cane is classic!) then you really know you’re viewing car royalty. Thanks guys!
That camera transition while the car is going into third at the montage at 6:30 was so expertly done, me eyes closed not expecting it, I shed a tear 😘
This channel is as close as you can get to what Top Gear was back in the day with Clarkson, May and Hammond. EpisodeS we those 6 would be crazy
Or even better.
This is peak Cartube. You guys rock.
Gotta say, I fricken love old Porsche’s but that Alfa is proper gorgeous. Manic Pixie Dream Girl energy.
That 911K is the stuff of dreams😮💨
I love watching your videos. They remind me of the top gear years 08-09. Just pure car geekiness. Thanks for keeping the flame alive!
It’s amazing how much of a visual, audial, and cinematic masterpiece the team creates. I’ve been a subscriber and follower for years, and every time it blows me away.
Amazing video. Kinda feels like the torch has now been passed from the trio to the duo. TH has always been my new TG and now the two have come together, for only a moment or two, but it was enough. Loved it.
I've watched you guys from the beginning, since seeing James overcome with emotion test driving a Lamborghini Huracan. (He cried.) You deserve all of your success, congratulations on hitting 3 million subscribers.
This could be the best UA-cam car video ever made. You guys need a tv show
This video is honestly probably one of the best videos related to cars that I have ever watched, everything is just so amazing and perfect.
And that ending put a huge smile on my face, such a beautiful video, thank you so much for doing what you are, love you guys
New car videos these days make me roll my eyes and groan, but vehicles like these, get me excited to tune in. Such is the way. I can’t afford either, but that’s never why I watch. Keep up the fantastic work
One of your best so far, and was genuinely heartwarming to see Thomas in that Alfa. And the countryside wasn’t half bad either! Can’t wait to see what you make of that Alpine next!
I can 100% attest to the GTAR. Something about Alfa Romeos thats just so beautiful and romantic. I couldn't afford the Alfaholics build so I made one myself but the saloon version. I love how they sell all the parts so you can make one that falls in your budget. My Super has 185hp/165lbft and I couldnt be happier. THank you guys for the great content as always.
That's awesome, man! At one point, I had genuinely considered a project Alfa. My concept involved an F20C from a donor Honda S2000. Not sure if anyone has a running finished version yet, but it would sure make for such an incredible (and totally reliable) driving experience. My hat's off to your build! Cheers 🍻
Thank you. Thank you for making 33 minutes of pure car guy nirvana. This is right up there with the best of those other three automotive icons. I am moved to tears. Love you guys.
A video that actually almost brought tears to my eyes torn because both cars are near and dear to my heart and childhood. Filled with humor and amazing filming and unicorn car knowledge. What else is required??! So jealous that I am not part of the team and unable to see these unicorns in real life. 😢. Great job gents, keep up the good work.👍
Superb footage and humor with Thomas 'grail' and James 'excalibur' ... Thread gently this fabulous cars is the secret as in other areas too: the way of gentleness - Judo.
Is it christmas? Two of the coolest cars ever made, with the alfa being my dream car, on my favorite youtube channel, with a cameo from my favorite car journalist, on some of the best roads in the world. Beautiful production quality, excellent poetic dialogue, wonderful in every way.
Looking forward so much to the A110 video as well, you guys absolutely kill it and you deserve a lot more than just 3M subscribers.
This is basically prime top gear right here....music, vistas, actual real joy - Well done!
Hands down the best camera work in automotive youtube. These big production videos are sooooooo good
I have never driven an Alfa, the Alfaholics GTA-R is not my dream car, but the thing your videos manage to do better than literally anyone else, is convey how incredibly special the experience is. Maybe it's because I know how special that car is to Thomas but I had literal chills. Bravo again gents.
Seen a reel on insta with the 911k, came to see the full video, shed tears like a baby it's that good
Might be the most jaw dropping thumbnail you guys have made so far!
This video encompasses every reason we subscribe to this channel. Fantastic work as always, and congratulations on reaching 3 million subscribers! 😊
Thomas, James, everyone at Throttle House, thank you! THANK YOU! You give reviews a true twist in the best and most exciting ways possible! Every video that comes out has always been fun to watch and so informative, can’t ever ask for more! Keep up the amazing work!!!
These are the autos I love to see and the fact that you can wrangle them up for us is quite impressive and no doubt difficult. 3 million subscribers helps quite a lot I would presume. Always looking forward to the next one.
One of the most emotional moments on this channel for sure. I personably cannot recover from the scream of this Porsche! Thanks for sharing!
Take a bow, Gents! You guys just keep elevating. There is an incredible balance you guys strike when reviewing unfathomably expensive cars that most of us will never see let alone drive. Yet, its always engaging, relatable, and of the highest quality. This video moved me. It is art. You guys are the GOATS in the digital landscape. Well done and thank you.
That was great half an hour, thank you.
P.s. 911K at 4-8k RPM sounds like pure pleasure, an eargasm. Over 9k its subjectively uncomfortable, but i guess its meant to be this way.
When I watched Chris Harris drive the 911k for the first time around the track, I nearly lost it. That car is the epitome of what a car should be, and I cannot even fathom what it is like to drive. I'm so glad that both of you had the privilege to drive both of those masterpieces. This episode was fantastic. You guys deserve all of the success that has come to you and that will continue to come. You guys are my favorite channel by far. Bravo 🤙
Hey guys,
Just want to say that I have been a huge fan of this show for years now and I am so proud of how far this series has come. Richard Hammond is a legend, also thank you for making cars fun again.
You’re doing an incredible job 🙌🏻
Much love from Austin, Tx
I finally got to drive my dream car this year. As a fellow enthusiast, this episode just resonates. People outside of our circle can't understand what things like this mean to us. Congrats Throttle House, just congrats. *Tips hat*
Beautiful to see 2 good guy's realising dreams, just 2 petrolheads experiencing motoring bliss......As 1 of your UK subscribers great to see you enjoying the fruits of what this tiny island gets up to!! Drive safely chaps 👍
I don’t normally ‘comment’ or ‘like’ any videos, but this takes both for having the 2 best cars presented by 2 very likeable humans. I think I am the British Thomas. I still want the Alfa more than my next breath, but MY GOD that 911 is epic.
This is the best car content on UA-cam. Period. These boys are masters of this particular universe.
I’m genuinely happy for you both that you got to experience those cars. Thanks for bringing us along.
10:45 jaw dropping stuff, even the revv counter can keep up. Dream cars double dose, excellent 👌
This episode genuinely made me laugh out loud many times. Thank you guys for sharing an amazing video ❤️🥰😍 Richard was priceless 😂
Waited for this one. The 911K is a beast. Would take it over a Singer any day. Chris Harris was literally sweating driving it
So happy yall were able to experience these beauties. Favorite channel on UA-cam!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Lol, the first few real pulls on the r290 and i decided to pauze and pick this up again with more time and more volume ( too much joy for 23:50 with the whole family upstairs in bed). Time to go to bed and enjoy this video with some time and volume tomorrow! Oh boy, that's going to be good!! 😊
Ive not seen the interior of the 911k till now. It is so insanely beautiful.
Really looking forward to your A110 video
Holy fucking shit, tuthill and alfaholics, we're in for some stuff today.
That ALFA ROMEO IS ABSOLUTELY EPIC!❤
Honestly this has been the most original, quality content, actually funny subscription of the last few years
Watching Thomas experience the Alfa was amazing, but this probably was James' best review of a car until now. The cars, the emotions, the filming, and most importantly, the people
Not even kidding, I got emotional watching that Porsche go to 11,000. My mouth was agape and also smiling. Sweet jebuz, what an absolute marvel of a machine. Simply stunning.
