Theirs alot of things id love to master and hat shaping is one of them. Ive done a little but not enough to wven say i can shape hats. I use a steamer to make sure my brim is flat and my creases are even.
I work with people who have shaped hats for a decade, on an as needed basis. I have been doing it for a year and have retrained most people who thought they knew what they were doing. Not that I’m an expert, but if it’s not something you strive for perfection in, and actually study different techniques then you won’t be able to master. The best recommendation is to do it as much as you can, and learn from watching. Good luck.

I do not, but I will be back out there to do a video at the new store in January. I will see what I can find out.
