You are so welcome! 🤗
Having a blast putting this chain bracelet together along with some purple seed bead links, on this rainy stormy spring day in middle Tennessee, U.S.😃
Yay! Nothing better than creating beautiful things, on a dismal icky day ☺️
muy facil y bonita, muchas gracias por compartir y enseñar. un abrazo
I absolutely love your tutorials. So clearly explained. I love your intermittent giggling too. It's contagious. Thank you!
That’s so very kind of you, thank you! 🤩
Faff around! I created a mastermind group with a handful of friends 10 years ago and we call ourselves the West Coast Faff Group! I love your links, Samantha! I am making another piece using these lovelies. Thank you so much!
Oh I just LOVE that!! I do love a good faff ☺️
Another exceptional video. I love your designs. So simple and elegant. You explain things so thoroughly. I have been wearing one of your bracelet designs and it is so comfortable. Thank you for sharing your time and expertise.
Oh thank you! That’s such a kind thing to say… I’m very grateful for your lovely comment 🥰
I have made this type of chain for years. This is the first time I have seen a video on it. I do it a little different. I start with coiling wire on a marker or a 1/4 inch dowel. Cut them apart and open up the jump ring, put loops on each end going towards the center of the ring, push together. My links are smaller and more compact. I love your design.
Oh that’s really interesting! I love to hear/see how someone else would make things, so thank you for that 😍
you just saved my life i was like "this is perfect i just need it tiny"!
@@han-gk4ko I am happy I could help

Wow! What a neat link. Love it. You make everything easy to understand, but very useful and elegant or masculine. Simply wonderful!!❤
You are so welcome! 🤗 Glad it was helpful 🥰
I really enjoyed this and feel like I’ve accomplished something. Still struggling with the wrapped beads, but I’ll keep practicing that one. Love this chain. Looks great, too! Thank you
You’re very welcome, Bonnie 😍 Keep practicing ☺️
@@samanthalatimer1 will do!
This is a brilliant tutorial!! fun, goes together same every time and amazing results!! My husband says this chain looks similar to Gucci chain!! Great job and cant wait to make this in silver!!

Glad it was helpful! 🤗
Samatha you have taken me so far in my jewelry making journey. I can not thank you enough. I look forward to your next video and learning something new. I’m in Florida in the US. Lots of hugs Janet
Oh that’s wonderful to hear, Janet 🥰 Thank you so much for watching ☺️
Super easy and cute!
Totally 💯
@@samanthalatimer1Question…what type of closure do you use on this chain?
@@marjoriecook7556 anything you like really. I’d use a shepherds hook type, myself. Attach it to the double loop end and pop the hook through the single end 😍
Thank you Sam, love those links x❤
Ah you’re so welcome 🤗 Thanks so much for your support, as always x
Thankyou so much Sam🙏🏼👏🏼👏🏼, why have I never made this chain in 40 years of making jewellery ?!! 🙄😀So cute & super easy! Lots of ideas now come to mind 💞🕊
Oh that’s amazing! 🤩 I love to learn new things even after a long time, don’t you!! ❤️ I’m glad you found it useful 🤗
@@samanthalatimer1 Yes & I definitely need to get those bail 6 in 1 pliers, could you recommend a quality brand please , or is it a case of you get what you pay for kinda thing? On eBay I’ve seen a pair for £22 and i don’t know what the large wrap & tap ones are for ,I’m assuming to make jump rings or bigger loops? My two pairs of roundnose ones I’ve had from 30 years 😁
@@kraftykym8627 the wrap and tap pliers are great for shaping things… so sort of forming arches and half moon shapes in bangles etc. so they’re a great asset to your tool collection. I’ve tried a few brands over the years but I just LOVE my 2-9mm pliers from PTL Prestige. They’re not expensive and they just work, so I don’t think you have to spend too much (which is always fab!)
@@samanthalatimer1 Thankyou so much for that info! Jewellery is just one of the many crafts that I practice, I must say when ever I’m in a charity shops I’m always on the look out for craft supplies and especially old tools, as they are generally half the price I can source online, I like to use pre- loved stuff and to be honest most of my tools were inherited from my grandad, car boot sales and the like . I used an ancient cobblers shoe iron for a hammering block but I think I deserve a nice new pair of shiny pliers! 😀🙏🏼❤️🌟
Absolutely LOVE this! It's simple, easy to follow along with, with how well you explain and demonstrate the necessary steps.
Definitely will be adding this chain link style to the different jewelry designs I currently have going on!
Thank you for your time in creating this video and for sharing and demonstration on said video 🫶 much appreciated 🫶
You are so welcome! 🤗 Thank you for your very kind words 🥰
Sam you are brilliantly talented...this is such a lovely chain and appears so simple to make the links! I will definitely try this. ❤
Thanks so much 😊 That’s so very kind of you 🥰 as always
My links turned out nice but when I assemble everything together, the entire chain looks wonky. I did connect them through the look like you demonstrated. What did I do wrong?
@@laurettabratti6638 when you say “wonky” what do you mean? Each link will be 180 degrees turned from the one before it, creating a twisted effect, like I show in the video… is that what you mean, Lauretta? 🥰
They don't line up, neatly in a row like yours do. They look like a detailed train with the cars all strewn about. My links are lovely, but when I connect them to each other they don't lay flat or properly. I'll try watching your video again but just don't understand what I'm not doing right. 😕
@@laurettabratti6638 can you send me a photo, Lauretta? samanthalatimer@outlook.com
Love it and i will try to make me one tomorrow i hope when i have time and i love the one with the blie beads i will make mine with yellow color beads
Ooh yellow beads will be adorable 🥰
Easy peasy! Thanks bunches! 😘
You’re so very welcome 🤗

So glad! ☺️
My dear Sammy excelent . I’m from in Mexico City, CDMX
Hello 👋 Lovely to have you here 😍
Another wonderful chain. Thank you so much. ❤😊
You're so welcome 😊
As always, I love your videos.
Thank you! ☺️
Great tutorial. Looks so simple and the effect is brilliant.
Absolutely 💯 I love simplicity and especially when it looks like something is complicated 🥰
Ooo, I love it. I added a coil in the middle of the wire just for fun and it looks fantastic! Thanks for this.
Ooh that sounds amazing 🤩
@@samanthalatimer1 I wish I could send you pictures of how I've embellished some of your wonderful links- or as I like to say, turned them on their ear and made them into something that you probably never intended to be🤣- to create things that I can then teach others- giving your inspiration a well-deserved mention of course.
Thanks!
Welcome! 🤗
Those look like so much fun to make. The links are so cute. You are so creative!!!!!
Ah thank you, dear Jeanetta 🤗 so hope you and your family are well 😍
@@samanthalatimer1 we are doing good. Thank you. I hope you and your family are doing well. We're getting more than our fair share of rain. We need it, just not all at once. My Iris are loving it. They are blooming like crazy.
@@jeanettatownsend6807 ah it's a shame we can't share pics on here. I'd love to see your garden. I'm glad you're all doing well
Briljant 😍😍
😍😍
Love learning about wire wrapping. I have so many jewelry pieces from beading I couldn’t possibly wear them all and haven’t had any success with selling them so I am looking for wire wrapping ideas for things other than jewelry like household items, clothing, and/or decor?
Clothing with wire sounds amazing doesn’t it 😊 I’d love to have a try of that myself
❤❤
🥰🥰
Thanks Samantha, I love your videos. I was wondering if you ever put a patina on your copper pieces or just let them darken naturally?
Hello 👋 Thank you… that’s very kind of you 😍 I do sometimes patina my pieces, but usually I tend to wear bare copper as I just love the colour. When I’ve sold my work in the past, I’ve always offered bare or patina. I don’t let it darken as I’m not keen on that, and I tend to treat with Renaissance Wax or indeed, just clean my pieces before I wear them 🥰
My pliers don't have the 2mm setting, what's the ratio used so I can adapt it to a 3mm circle?
Ooh I’m not sure. Not made a 3mm version yet. Just try adding half a cm at a time when you’re creating the link and see how you get along. It’ll not take many samples for you to hit on the correct length or guage of wire. This demo is just an idea for you to experiment with 😍
I. Am almost out of 18g would 20 work ok??? I'm trying since I don't want to finish of my 18 . 🤞
20 would work fine. Just don’t make the links too long (if that makes sense 😍)
Samantha your beads on the one necklace, are those seed beads?
Sorry for the delay in responding. Yes, they’re 6/0 seeds ☺️
@@samanthalatimer1 thank you
Does it get caught in hair?
Not in mine ☺️
