Beautiful Camellias!
Ah Camellia 🌸 Thank you!
Yes, but watch for frost, it kills the flowers.
Love the pupper 🐶
He’s so cute 🥰

Hi Samantha. I hope you and your family are doing well. Glad to hear you got some sunshine. We got a bit today, but then yucky clouds moved in, and we had some thunder and lightning. I love the teardrop links. They look so dainty but durable, too. Thank you for another wonderful tutorial.
Lovely to see you, Jeanetta. Hope your weather improves soon. We have sun again today so long may it last 🥰

Thanks so very much! And yes… he’s such a little sweetie ❤️

Glad you enjoyed it! ☺️

Simplicity is good 😊
Love it! Your tutorials are excellent. And your pretty pink flowers are camelias :)
Thank you so much 🌸
Thank you for sharing. Very beautiful work.
Thank you very much! ☺️
❤ Gorgeous! Thank you!
Thank you too! 😍
Camelias!!! Some varieties are used to make tea!!
Ooh! Camelia! Thank you for that. I had no idea you could make tea from them 😊
I just found this and made a few inches and it is very nice! If you look at my links from the side at the bottom of the wrap it kind of shifts forward, like it’s hunchbacked but I’m working on it. Anyway, I’m a chain fiend and have made dozens of links that I like to mix with wrapped beads. This one’s a keeper. Always comes out nice, or at least fixable! Thank you!
I’m a chain fiend too! I just love making chains in the evening in front of the TV. I’m so glad you enjoyed this one too ☺️
Wonderful tutorial! Thank you for sharing!
You’re very welcome ☺️
Wonderful link! Thank you.❤
You are so welcome! 🤗
Thank you for another easy to follow video to make beautiful links/chain! 💖 The overall length for cutting wire for each link is 4in and the first bend is at 3/4in and 5mm dia (4th "step" on my bail making pliers). The top loop is 2mm (2nd "step" on mine).
That’s so kind of you to include the equivalent measurements! Thank you for doing that 🥰
If you are OCD about waste( raises hand) 9cm is almost dead on to 3.5 inches, not 4 in.
I have started crafting again, which I don’t get to do often because I have small children 😍 BUT I am so glad I have found your channel. I have made a couple of the items you have shown tutorials on and am enjoying it so much. You are so thorough and don’t go super slow/super fast. I have learned so much. Thank you for sharing all your tips/techniques.
You’ve no idea how happy this makes me 🥰 I’ve got neurodivergent kids and even though they’re now teens, I find that this little pocket of peace is my sanctuary and I love to create beautiful things that bring me joy. I’m so, so happy you’re here. 🥰🥰

That’s a lovely thing 🌸
Love the way you did the teardrop all and add to them the beads love them can wet until i try them, not today i don't fill to do something. Thanks
Thank you so much ☺️
Thank you. 🎉
You’re very welcome 😊
Well I am from New England, Maine to be exact. I am not positive, but I'm 95% sure that the pinkish flowers you showed at the beginning of the video are wild Roses. Do they have really small thorns? They do look similar to peonies also in a way.. but my guess would be wild roses. I can't wait to check out all of your videos. Thank you for sharing.
Hello 👋 I’ve always wanted to visit Maine. It looks just beautiful 😍 They don’t have thorns I don’t think.. I know some folks said they look like Camellias 🌸 Whatever they are, they’re so pretty 😍
your flowers are camelia i think!!!cathie grout here
❤
❣️
Yep, they’re camellias!
Lovely! Thank you ☺️ 🌸
I just LOVE how easy you make it look to create such beautiful chains! I have a question about the wire you use though. Is it ‘dead-soft’ wire? Or half-hard? It bends so easily, it seems like it must be the former, but I’d really love to know for certain. I mostly use half-hard wire, but it isn’t that easy to wrap using just my fingers. Thank you! ❤
I do use the dead soft copper wire as even though it’s labelled “dead soft” it’s not too soft, if you o ow what I mean ☺️ I find the half hard too problematic for my arthritic fingers! You can work harden dead soft wire if you need a little more stability, so I use dead soft as it covers most bases. Hope that helps 🥰
@@samanthalatimer1 Thank you so much for your speedy response. I’ve yet to use any dead-soft wire, but I think I may give it a try. If it seems too soft, I’ll just try ‘hardening’ it a bit. I’ve been wanting to make my own chains for awhile now, but have been a bit intimidated to give it a try. After watching your tutorials though, I’m really excited to give it a try! You make it look SO easy! 🥰
@@MsTenacious24 ah you’ll do marvellously! Please do let me know ow how you get along ☺️
I save all your videos since I started about a month ago...even have a weird post-it note type thing with an actual wire example and my chicken scratch notes on lengths and sizes lol. Wish I could post it to you to see how bad it is lol!
I love that 😍 I’d love to see your fab notes! I do the same thing and I have notes all in my phone too lol
🥰
🥰🥰
Thank u for sharing this video. I am really interested to make my own jewellery but don’t know where to start?where to buy materials? I am in the UK please advise..
Hello 👋 How lovely that you’re wanting to get going with the wonderful world of jewellery making! As a beginner, I’d suggest an affordable tool set from somewhere like Kernowcraft, or Cookson Gold (online). Individual tools can be a little more pricey so I’d start with a basic set, which will give you what you need to get going. You can buy wires from Amazon cheaply enough, so start with smaller batches of 1mm, 0.8mm and 0.4mm wires, which are the basics for most things. And beads are really affordable too. You can get bead mixes from places like www.thebeadstore.co.uk They’re great for very cute and affordable beads and supplies. Have lots of fun and let me know ow how you get along ☺️
@@samanthalatimer1 thank you Samantha for your reply. I will buy basic materials & let you know…I like your work 👍
Those flowers could possibly be hibiscus flowers.
Thank you! 🤩 I’ll take a look online and see if I can match them. They’re so pretty 🌸
What gauge wire did you use for the pendant? I really like these links!
The pendant was made from 2mm wire. It’s so pretty isn’t it 😍
@@samanthalatimer1 yes!
I think they are wild roses.
Lovely 🌸🌸🌸
Looking at the leaves and flowers could possibly be an Azalea or Rhododendron
Thank you ☺️ A few people are saying it’s a Camellia 🌸 It’s pretty, either way 😍
Is the 18g wire half hard?
It is, yes 👍🏻
My 8 yr old warrior daughter has been learninf earrings and wire.wrap with me... she asked me about one of my tools... flesh cutter?? Hahahhahahaaa unnmm woops flush cutters... yep 😅😅😅
Haha aw, I love that! Let’s hope they’re NOT flesh cutters argh! 😂
The flowers look like camelias.
Thank you ☺️
camellias
Thank you! They’re so beautiful 🌸
