This video is a testament to the creator and CEO of Revology. For him to take the time out and share this information is beyond anything. Thank you Tom.
Great information, I’ll say what everyone is thinking, lower that 66 convertible and let us have a look at the next masterpiece! Happy new year Revology, interested to see what will be the first delivery of 2024.
I have a 66 shelby and a 68 being built by Revology. If you have the means, these a great cars, built with a passion for quality control. I own several other restomod and a few original cars. They will all break down at some point if you drive them. Car flippers are notorious for lying by omission. I always judge a restored car by its underpinnings. If they don’t look great, rusty bolts, etc. WALK AWAY.
So helpful. If you are spending six figures like a Revology vehicle, the restomod should be just about perfect. You did not mention anything mechanical such as a lifter tick, drivability, rear main seal leak, etc. Can you listen to a car run at an auction? One other thing that I thought about was date codes on the tires - tires can be $2k plus for a cool car. You rock!
I dont want one of these anymore. After seeing an auction for an original 1967 that sold for 250k and these restomods which are far from the original quality are asking for 300k and up.
The standard was a wonderful online 6 that lasted just about forever. I had a 170 c.i. in my Ford Econoline, and when I sold the van, it had well over 250,000 on it, never used oil. But let's face it; if you're paying $350,000 for a car, you are NOT going to get a V6.

You went above and beyond your normal duty with this presentation because you really didn't have to do this video. Thank you.
Beautiful rendition of the original. These cars stand a test of time in their style. Back when cars were very stylish. Groovy !!!

They all break down at some point? Uhh that doesn't sound like a good excuse for a 300k car
Would love to see a Boss 302 or 429 model

Have you considered... a V6 option for the 1966 convertible? Porsche has long seen the wisdom of a smaller, lighter engine over the front wheels.
