      Unfortunately, detox does not exist. You cannot detoxify your body by adding stuff to it (eg. Fruit juices full of fructose that will actually cause your body to promptly release insulin due to fast absorption of fibre-less, high-fructose liquid) Our bodies constantly detox without our intervention. (just google, “is detox real”)

    In Indonesia, we unironically call blended fruits as juice. That's why when a bunch of articles & videos about the fact that drinking juice isn't healthy came out, I got confused because the "juice" we have here is basically just the whole fruits blended so that's gotta be the same as fruits in general. Little did I know that the definition of juice we use here is different/rather skewed 😂

    I have been hearing this since the 90s, and had such great health while juicing and was confused by this. So I did my own experiment. I don’t understand the science behind it but if I want to instantly get rid of inflammation, water retention, clear my skin or get rid of an autoimmune issue (psoriasis for example) juicing wins hands down! Don’t get me wrong, I love smoothies! But there is a time and place for both in good health. You can try it yourself. Start with a day of smoothies and see how much you urinate. The next day, have green juice and then compare the two.☺️

      Maybe depends how much can you eat. If it's just worth a cup or two, still manageable. But usually serious juicing involved quite a hefty amounts of different types of fruits. My mom's daily smoothie (for better bowel movement) contains 2 apples, 2 oranges, some strawberries, couple dates, prunes and figs and some calamansi juice. I love fruits don't get me wrong, but I don't think I can stomach these much in a day other than in it's smoothie form 😅

      @Bambisgf77 Рік тому +1

      That doesn’t make sense? If you eat the fruit bc the juice has more sugar… then you would be eating more sugar.

    • @searece
      @searece Рік тому +1

      I'm not sure entirely what you mean by your comment. Fruit juice bought from the store contains all the natural sugar of fruit. It loses all of the fiber, not any of the sugar. I've only seen sugar added to bought fruit juice if it's a tart fruit, like cranberries, or if it's a juice cocktail (not 100% juice, or maybe a blend of juices).
