Yes, I want to second my support for all your hard work. I can imagine also that later seasons may get trickier but I imagine maybe you also thought ahead to make sure things can more or less make sense. Whichever the case I think you’re doing amazing so far. I keep thinking about how the map will look in the future parts of the show and can’t wait to see, that is if you keep it going. I hope you do because it’s amazing work. But even if you don’t, what you’ve made here so far is so great!

One thing I noticed is that when Daniel is speaking to Desmond outside of the hatch and the bright light begins to manifest, not only does Daniel react to it, so does Desmond. I don't remember Ethan reacting to it while holding a gun on Locke or Richard while speaking to Locke in Jughead.

Congrats on finishing an amazing second season! It's been really fun to get more insight from you about the locations, as well as the behind-the-scenes process and other background information related to the show. Really great attention to detail with the '922 Revelations' bit on Eko's stick. One fun Eko detail I noticed is that you can actually see his cross pendant being ripped from his neck on screen. That becomes a tiny story beat in "Further Instructions" and "The Cost Of Living". The fact that the hash marks add up so well with your calculated date for the DHARMA experiments is honestly mindblowing. Your headcanon has more continuity than the show itself! I also really like your thoughts on "The Door" and how it might relate to Sayid and the 'end of time'. I always figured it was called "The Door" because it was... a door.

I agree with you on "The Door", but the mosque thing was something that ocurred to me after some terrorists unfortunately attacked this mosque some years ago and I learned about this mysterious door that is not supposed to be opened until the end of time. And I got reminded of it when doing this episode. Just a small and fun little detail.

I was just watching lost again and wondering. How big is the radius of around the island. Daniel mentioned it when they were on the zodiac. I'm curious if anyone has done figures or if there is any known information about that?
It's around 60 kilometers south to north, and 40 kilometers from east to west. At least according to Rousseau's map, but I'd say there's some leeway on those numbers. Hard to say how much we can trust the exact numbers, so my map tend to trust geography, quotes and what we see on screen a little bit more than her notations :)

I remember reading that Desmond would be the special one in place of Walt. And his storyline resembles so much of Walt (and Michaels) I can't help but feel he took both their place. Desmond keeps getting separated from Penny like Michael keeps getting separated from Walt, both have had letters intercepted from them, one came back to the island on a boat and both left the island on a boat, oh and both had children named after fathers (Michael named Walt after his father, Desmond named Charlie after Penny's father. But really it was Charlie Pace. But still.)
I like your thinking. And it might be somewhat true. Some of Eko's stories were also put into the character of Desmond, since the actor Adewale wanted to quit the show. Over the seasons, Desmond became that "special one" and was much more beloved by the audience than Walt. Often ranking no. 1 on character polls and so on.

I just noticed something. When Desmond talks to Daniel, he says "Are you him? Are you my replacement?" My replacement. Not our replacement or Kelvin's replacement. My replacement. That could imply this conversation took place after Kelvin died. Not definitive but interesting.
That's a nice discovery. It would be a cool thing, but unfortunately, the timing doesn't quite match. This time flash happens right after the Nigerian beechcraft has crashed on the Island. And Kelvin died on September 22nd 2004. In between those events, Eko was in Nigeria and then working as a priest in London, before travelling to Australia and then arrived on the Island.
so if dharma were all wiped out, how come there always happened to be a person at the swan? and how come the periodic supply drops happened, assuming that people off island would be concerned when there's no communications coming from their expected sources
First it depends on whether or not you consider the Purge to have happened in 1987 or 1992. If you consider the former, then the writers have said that it would be possible for Kelvin to have joined DHARMA post-purge. Could be some offices still running outside or the Others' disguising off-Island DHARMA headquarters. If you subscribe to the 1992 date, then he would be able to be in the Swan prior to the purge. He would be there with Radzinsky, who was already there since the 70's. As for food drops. There is still someone making the economy afloat (Hawking, Widmore, Others, Hanso Foundation etc.) so that food drops are produced and the workers are getting paid. But the workers who send the drops just followed the automatic reports from The Lamp Post station.
Good work, but I would disagree on some details: - I don't think it was ever stated that Desmond landed on the same beach, it could be any other beach really - I think when Desmond went outside to confront Faraday, that was already after Kelvin was dead (otherwise Desmond would never exit alone if Kelvin was still inside with him). Des still was wearing the hazmat suit cause just like with the button, he couldn't know what part of it was a lie and what part was true. The vaccines were real, there were suits, the quarantine signs. So some parts of it had to be true. Plus that was Desmonds first interaction with someone outside. So even if Des knew that staying outside dosn't make you sick, maybe interacting with infected people would. Why would he risk getting sick in case it was real? Thats why he was still wearing the hazma suit after killing Kalvin. And thats why he was asking Jack are they infected. He wasn't sure. - I guess its possible that Kalvin killed Radzynski, but Kalvin would have to be on the ground aiming a shotgun straight up, with Kalvin standing right in front of him (u know, like that scene from Breaking Bad when Hank kills one of the twins)

It's going to take a while. Since this isn't my day job, I do it in my free time after work and making videos take a lot of time. I have the scripts ready for five new episodes now, but I haven't started recording nor editing them yet. My goal is to have at least 10-12 episodes ready to go before I start publishing. That way there will be one video per week. I think it's likely that season 3 starts sometime this summer. I'm also going to publish some non-Lost related videos on this channel, just to have my mind on other things too.
