They would have. Well, they’d have to pay off what they owe before they’re ever considered so that’s as good as a ban because you know that’s never going to happen.
If you’re given a council flat, there should be an inspection every couple of months. To make sure they’re being taken care of. If you can’t take care of something given to you, you don’t deserve it. Give it to someone who will appreciate it
Sounds great in this context - but think about of the people that live there properly. You'd be invading their privacy by quite a lot, You'd have to create new laws about what constitutes an "unclean flat" - obvious ones are easy but what about moderate hoarders or just a big family with young kids, all of the edge cases. But my main concern would be invasion of privacy - some officials come into Your house and check if You are cleaning properly - it's quite humiliating. Again I am talking from a proper tenant point of view.
@@Rendzio We used to do that in the States around the 60's. They'd check every couple of months for cleanliness. Also, if was a woman's place with no husband, there'd better not be any man's things inside the house either.
In Australia you have to pay 6 weeks in advance. This is a 4 week bond plus 2 weeks rent in advance. If they don't leave the premises immaculate they lose the 4 weeks rent and go on a database. Why isn't this happening??
I came into a collection of antique books. Some are over 100 years old. I dust them...and was wiping them with baby wipes. 😬 Seeing books dusted with pony hair brushes, I feel like such a turd for the probable damage I have been doing.
I used to work for a store starts with a W and this guy was empty and the old grease down into the drains. I told him you can’t do that. That’s gonna cause a problem for the store and they’re gonna have to call plumbers to go down and take care of that.. what we did was drain it into a tub and take it to the back of the store and put it in another receptacle and then these people come out and pick that up like every two weeks. Now I don’t know why they don’t try to do that here. That’s a horrible mess and as far as his wipes. They need to come up with another plan on those. I’m not here. You cannot put things like that down a toilet. You just can’t and it makes sense that you can’t. I don’t know why people do put it in the trash.
When it comes to the sewerage system if they know that wipes are part of a big problem why haven't they been banned, people know they should put them down the toilets but continue to do so out of ignorance and selfishness.
I'd be putting those specific names on a banned list so they could never rent from Council again!
Absolutely 💯 there going to ruin for the people who need it and aren’t absolute pigs! Very good idea

Your right cleaning up without follow up is half the job ethically and legally
@@magicmyc2672nope they still house them but recover the payments by different means , i know as my ex done this
I appreciate you Lou 🙏🏻💐🦋

They come in every year. That’s enough. Every couple of months takes the piss.
@@magicmyc2672do these houses in these videos look like they were inspected enough? No way once a year would be enough if it ends up like this

Wonder why they put carpet in those places. Vinyl floors would be more practical.
UK is generally quite cold. Carpets make the houses warmer.
Warmer & cheaper tbh
Why don’t the council or landlords do regular inspections? They always seem surprised when they see the mess left behind.
I'm a huge fan
England is just so beautiful! I dont understand how ppl cld destroy that gorgeous park with litter and ruining the pond for the birds!
