This episode of "Rock Club Rising" aired in February 1996, so the performance likely was in late 1995 or early 1996. It was at Tempe's Electric Ballroom and in the video, you will see Grey Daze performing two songs of their set.
I was at this show, I was 20....43 now. Grey Daze was such a great band, but I knew after seeing this show Chester was going someplace, and it was a pleasure to follow his amazing career. Was really sad when he passed, but knew he had a dark side that haunted him, you can hear it in is music. Rip Chester....you had amazing talent.
Chester looked great in the overalls. With the best voice. I like his hair. Quiet sexy. That energy of his was always amazing. I miss him so very much. Chester Forever. I love you
Listening to this footage I, once and again, am 100% sure and proud that Chester Bennington is one of the BEST vocals out there! He's so young in here and his voice is so deep, and has that unique melody that distinguish him among the other singers. God bless you Chaz!

Seine Stimme war aber unglaublich viel authentischer bei diesen Songs. Viele LP Auftritte wirkten stimmlich gequält. Das hier ist...der Wahnsinn. Erinnert mich sehr an Kurt Cobain.

Wow, Chester looks so different with longer hair! :D I kinda didn't recognize him at first but the way he moves is just so him and that voice, it's Chester all right. So nice to get a glimpse of his Grey Daze times! I loved their albums when I was 13 or so, a massive LP fan.

Rock Club Rising was a ‘live on tape’ show - recording bands perform live on stage. It ran here at Arizona (September 1995 to September 2000); it showcased more than 500 different acts throughout those years.
This footage was one of several Grey Daze segments on ‘Rock Club Rising’.
The sound was done ‘live’ rather than through the audio board. The audio loses the crowd participation when it goes through the board, it sounds too clean, giving it the appearance of lip syncing and not live.
Criminals burglarised my home (2014) and stole all but 15 videotapes of nearly 10 years (1993 - 2001).
I was the producer of RCR.

@@donaz4056 Its actually a shame that you wrote this comment. It's true, that at times, he wasn't too connected with LP, but read more about Chester. He was abused multiple times as child and had serious problems with drugs at the time this here was recorded. He always fought his demons inside and ultimately lost his war. He had millions of fans and a loving family, but it all doesn't help against your own demons.

Chester siempre tuvo una excelente voz. Me hubiera encantado ver la cara de Mike y de los otros la primera vez que escucharon la voz de Chez en la grabación que les envió, y luego cuando lo vieron en vivo en su audición. Ojala compartieran esa cinta, como la audición de Trujillo con Metallica.
Chester tiene un impecable manejo del escenario con este grupo, y con otros como STP. En LP siempre me dio la impresión de que se sentía fuera de lugar, como si no tuviese la libertad de expresarse.

The most surprising thing is that he has no tattoos on his skin but then made a change because look when he was in hybrid theory (1998-1999) now called Linkin Park he has tattoos and look more rock fashion. That what I called change.

really? but in the wikipedia say xero have a live performanses in 1997 y 1998 in clubs (whiskey a go go) and hybrid theory in 1999 in others clubs
+REAPER BKS They performed live in '98,Mike Shinoda's wife gave to a LP forum photos of many Xero fliers from that year.Maybe some guy filmed those shows,but i think he has left the cassette in his attic.
