his vocal distort every time he belts out that “strange love” and “this is what i said, yeah” is literally the most impressive shit i’ve ever heard come out of a human. the reverb on his vocals gives the song more of a twisted vibe too. this is what separates cheater from layne staley, this is what makes him his own fierce entity that cannot be compared to anyone else. chester had so much more raw power in his voice during grey daze… miss him
