    Jay speaking his verse, dissecting his work has me realising just how much depth rap has.. and himself, greatest

      The internet thing as well.. soo real, no one's utilising the internet the right way. Just a platform to highlight the way things are done rather than fuck things up (in the right way)

    It's lovely because 10 years later. I had been made a chance since the grace of this interview. Tryin' to figure it all out. How to get back where I belong? It took discipline, love, and learning. Sitting here today. I realize I've watched this many times. I will watch it many more time bc all the comfort it brings my soul. The pain, joy, and learning from experience was so special to me looking back at 31 to my 21 y/o self.

      He is a great interviewer. My problem with interviewers is that a high percentage don't know anything about who they are interviewing. Zane does his research and knows the genre of information that his views want.

    • @annou23
      @annou23 10 років тому +6

      definitley i agree hes able to gain the artists respect fairly quickly because he knows what hes talking about. it makes the interview so much more interesting because you can tell the artist begins to open up more.

    zane lowe is incredibly privileged to be in the position he's in, he has a job in which he gets to experience the dreams of many people. yet 4 days a week he comes on the air with true enthusiasm for all genres. i've listened to him interview some true greats from the likes of jay-z & eminem, through to unheard bands, & with this he maintains the same level of passion for music and talent in general. others would get lost in this environment, yet zane stays focused and pure. hats off to you zane

    Jay is a power player, elevated mind set. Real boss, first sent J.Cole in on Ye, stole a bit of thunder, then he came to restore true hip hop, while Ye is busy dealing with dash drama and paparazzi. Real revival. Your move Ye. Watch out Nas, he said you stumbled on the album in a session.

    he was actually part of a new zealand hip hop group in the 90's but for the last 10 years has been a VERY respected new music broadcaster on radio 1, he has also interviewed a lot of big names, including jay a few times, his style (if you were to listen to his show as opposed to just judge him) is very fast paced and high energy... He knows what he's doing and so telling him to shut up is a stupid thing to do as it would mess up the flow and the way he gets Jay to say things in the interview...

    Jay the reason why the powers that be aren't accepting of change and they want to keep it all the same because that means they aren't I'm control and you are as the artist at that point. Keep pushing the envelope and get this hip hop music back to the people where it should be and where it should stay forever. That's when you have a pure product that's great again. IJS. Peace
