    For 1. this is a Glempse into the Mind and thought Process of a successful Artist and Business man that has sustained success for more then 10 Years and continues to climb. You might ask why is that Valuable, well....Have you ever heard the saying to become Rich, you have to make Rich Friends?...Not because money will be thrown at you just by hanging around them...Its because subconciously you began to obsorb the mental Habits and thought process they possess that has made them successful

    Zane Lowe is the man. His interviewing style is just as laid back as you can get and still be creditable while interviewing an iconic figure such as Jay-Z.
    Zane let me just coin it, Z'awe, since Jay-Z didn't on the show. No pun on Zawe Ashton although she is one of my fav actresses.
    Z'awe = Zane Lowe's AweNESS, the ability to pimp sophistication at its inner most intangible core. (ZAne loWE first to letters of 1st & Last name with emphasis on the Z for Zane.

    For 2. if we read between the Lines, Jay-z is discribing how he is Changing the Traditional way record labels opporate By building relationships between different parts of the Label which pryer to now normaly dont ever Meet such as Publishers and Artist Repertoire (A&R). this is valuable information for someone Building a New Record label in hopes to be succesful in this new age of the business Dealing with the invention of the internet, and Decline of physical CD's

    Jay is like the wise rational thinking older brother of Kanye. He's cool af.
    The last part Zane said about politics with the process being toxic for the people with good ambitions is SO FUCKING TRUE! I've also said that in an argument with a friend the other day, and that's EVERYWHERE in the world. That's what's fucked up about our society, especially politics.

    I love these, but I get where you're coming from. Probable can't be helped though. Lowe was probably a bit starstruck, but also knowing that Jay-Z has the power to just walk out on any question he didn't like. But I think the sacrifice of super-inquisitive, challenging questions is worth it for the interview it has produced.

    He has an amazing brain and is really smart but like many great artists, you can see him being overwhelmed by his thoughts too much and it's causing him to not express himself all that well, he stumbles a lot on his words because he thinks too much. He should work on that a little but besides that, these interviews are really good.

    100 percent agree. People have to look deeper underneath the surface before making judgments. Too much generalization. Yesterday drake was on espn first take(he speaks proper or whatever "proper" means). Stephen a and skip saying "omgosh hes so intelligent; he brings hope to the hip hop culture etc etc. It like you cant make a generalization based of one rapper; makes no sense.

    No Disrespect, your intitled to your opinion and I respect it. I also appreciate How you Disected the structure and science of this Interview as far as speaking on the Honest and lack of Timidness Amplifying the overall apeal of this video as portraying a sofisticated Conversation...the fact that you pointed that out shows your high level of observation to discover the formula . How ever, for me personaly My Logic indicates this is a Genius Conversation and I will explane why......

  • @nalisten
    @nalisten 11 років тому

    For Reason 4. and Im gonna wrap this up cause i didnt entind to go this deep into my take on the interview. I feel the Intellegent aspect realy kicked in when Zane pointed out Jigg likes to pace his self and takes his time. Jay-z's Response is he is focused on Creating Greatness, in my opinion on a Michael jordan level. weather it takes a Day or 10 Years it Doesnt matter. He says Time is a Man Made thing. which is True, and that concept Derives From Albert Einstein and the laws of Relativity...
