Not really. He's just a respectable and humble person so people treat him with respect. His body of work is also something to admire. He didn't dickride or mumble his way to the top.

I remember watching Jay Z on a Howard Stern interview when I was young and saying to myself, "okay now this guy is different and I want to see what he does over the next 10 years." In the interview he basically sat down and told everyone what he was about to do with his past music career and maybe it was farfetched but he convinced me. Don't get me wrong I like Jay's music, IMO he is the best at the style of wordplay he does but I have never followed him and his career to see what new song is about to drop. I'm proud to say I'm more a fan of the man than the music.
