I brought my dog home from the vet this past Thursday.. Diagnosed with parvo... She was pooping and vomiting and drooling. She had no energy and it seems like no will to live. I took her to the vet and they gave me medicine to settle her stomach and they gave me medicine to put antibiotics back into her stomach. They never suggested that I could use Pedialyte and a syringe they never suggested any other way for me to keep her hydrated they told me that I would have to bring her back for an IV. After following the Vets orders for 2 or 3 days with no improvement I decided to look online and I found this video. I implemented what I learned in this video and today is day 2 and my dog is now standing walking and wagging her tail. I am convinced that Pedialyte saved my dog's life. Thanks

My 10 months old golden retriever survived parvo by giving IV one time a day and 2 injections 2 times a day for 1 week. They were not cheap. Also they gave open medicines which don't have name on it for last 3 days of treatment. They also gave 3 tablets for vomiting, fever and diarrhea for the recovery days after 1 week.
The vet told me not to give him any food or water while on IV but I tried to give him water and he vomited water few minutes later.
Fortunately my dog is good now. He is fully recovered from parvovirus although I vaccinated him on time he catched the virus. I hope all of your dogs live and survive this horrible disease.

Hi Sergio, I wanted to give you an update about my pittie. Thanks to following your video info, my baby boy survived ! He is doing so much better!! Still very skinny ( he weighed 78lbs. at the start of the virus and went down to 33 lbs.) He is eating soft dog food now and slowly his weight is coming back up. 45 lbs. yay!!! Can't wait to get him back to his normal size. Thanks again for posting your video! You saved my Scooby-doo doggy!!

I’m sorry to hear about your puppy. When you first found out he had parvo and started treatments, how was he acting before he passed? Was he wanting to eat anything or was he getting more lethargic?

This video is helpful. My 3 month old has parvo and she’s on her second day. The first day was very emotional I knew she had it but had to take her to the veterinarian hospital to get it confirmed. My mom took her due to me having to work and the worker did indeed confirmed she has parvo and told my mom that since it’s her first day with the symptoms she needed treatment at a urgent place the cost was 4,000 dollars we have the money but will be in need to pay rent and other bills.The nurse told her that she should drop her at the dog shelter near the place so they can give her treatment and that she could go to a home that could actually take care of her made my mom CRY. My mom being my mom told her that we love her a lot and that she’s sorry that she feels that way but that we where going to figure a way to keep her alive and help her fight the virus. She got water injected in the back of her neck and got medicine prescription that same night she stood up and ate chicken and water by herself. I have hope these items will help her out especially when she seems to have the virus and is fighting it off very well.

Thank you for getting to the treatment quick because so many videos out there go on and on and on, there's no time for procrastination when your dog is sick with Parvo, thank you. I've saved my dog with all these products, but unfortunately 3 of my pups were only 3 months and we had no clue what was going on they all 3 were lethargic for about 24 hours and passed away the next day. My Isabella made it, and recovered wonderful. My prayers for everyone out there going thru this.

Thank you so much! I’m going to try the pedialyte. I took my puppy today to the vet and tested positive for parvo. I spent $110 at the vet, so now I don’t have anymore money for the other stuff you suggested but for sure I’m going to give him the pedialyte. Hopefully my baby pulls through 😥 I feel so guilty for not taking him to get vaccinated. It is all my fault 😭
It’s ok, we learn from our failures....and yes please keep him hydrated with pedialyte, remember that parvo kills by dehydration
Also, you can buy Purina Pro plan Fortiflora. It comes in packets and it is a probiotic. I mixed it in a little bit of water and throughout the day used a syringe to force it to my 2 month old puppy. Do not leave it in their water bowl because they may not drink it. Give them a packet a day, along with your pedialyte. Make sure the pedialyte is the unflavored clear kind. Praying for you!
Currently goin thru that , used my last to pay for insurance and a lyft up there at 1am . once i got there they said i had to pay 245 upfront . Didnt even touch my dog didnt even have helpful info for me to care for him at home
Currently doing home treatment for our Presa Canario/ Golden Retriever mix. We have been using water, Pedialyte Xtra, yogurt for probiotic, mix chicken-rice-water in a magic bullet turns into baby food consistentcy has hard time keeping that down. Did not do a parvo test but 3 vets said they wanted to. In between jobs right now don't get paid until 5 days from now. And like you said not alot of people have that kind of cash just laying around. So we our open to any natural suggestions as well.

Sergio I am very grateful to you. There is no other similar situation than ours. It costs us $750 for all the medications prescribed by the vet. Blue, our 8 month old German shepherd was declining in health even from giving him same medication you received from vet. After watching you we went and purchased the same med and what a turn around. I very much feel that the med prescribed was to purposely make him worse so you will have to take your pet back and cost you thousands. Again thank you for the video. Bunny Boo no thank you for being strong enough to do it by yourself....it takes someone really strong to handle the pain of watching your best friend suffering
1) Keep them Hydrated
2) Keep a Close eye on them at all times
3) Feed them simple meals and no treats
4) Give them medication as prescribed on the bottle ( no more, no less)
This will usually do the trick
And 5) if your dog's parvo worsens after Four to Five days of treatment, take them back to the Vet and have them put on an Fluid drip for a full 24 hours.
Edit: Even when all Signs of Parvo have disappeared -- Continue giving your Dog medication and extra fluids for the next 3 Days to make sure all infection is gone and Hydration levels return to normal.

The Bag of Fluid used for the Emergency Drip can cost anywhere from $12-$20 per pouch (depending on the size). while a "Optional" Overnight stay at the Vet can very by Location but usually around $180+.
(with the Avg around being $230)
But if they Don't need to stay over night the Fluid Therapy Treatment should only cost around $70. ( Which include the Fluids, Vet vist, Taxs, and Rush fees)
Yes, bring them to the vet when already 5 days have passed. And when your dog dies, blame the vet??? Or maybe consult with your vet first because parvo is a life threatening disease?

Rakesh Maarka huge apologies for the super late reply I hope your puppy recovered successfully. What I did is gave her a syringe of pedialyte every hour of the day and what I found helped a lot was probiotic kids probiotic cuturelle and after about 10 day she was male to her regular self eating all on her own. It’s a long process it’s not fun, but you just can’t lose hope I know at times I did, but you just gotta stick by them all day because they need all the attention.
We are on day 3 after vet confirmed our pup tested positive. I cried as soon as they told me. They wanted to charge me 2,000 dollars to keep him for 3 nights. I can’t afford that so I had to bring him home. I have not slept these past two nights making sure he does not dehydrate. I ordered the Paxxin but won’t arrive till tomorrow. It is so exhausting and heartbreaking but I am not giving up on my baby.

My puppy- 3 months old, fighting Parvovirus for 2 weeks now. We gave him turmeric with black pepper and extra virgin olive oil- We made this turmeric mix like paste. Until now, he is alive and still fighting but improving.

I treated my dog with vitamin C infusion intravenously. I also gave one dose of ivermectin. But I feel it was the vitamin C what finally helped. Good luck to everyone who is dealing with this horrible virus !

My baby, 6 months, was diagnosed with parvo on Friday, the 24th of June. We went into the clinic and they told us it will cost around $250+ for home treatment or $800+ at the hospital. We did the home treatment and it costed $405. They gave us and IV bag, and injections for him. They also told us to buy Karo Syrup and give it to him 4x daily, as Parvo can cause low blood sugar. On the next day, Saturday, he was getting a little better. We did everything they told us to do. At night time, unfortunately my baby passed away in my arms. Right now, his sister is also having the same symptoms and hopefully, your video will help us!!

My pup of 3 months got really sick and didn’t want to do anything, I searched it up and apparently he had parvo and it’s said that if he didn’t get medical help there would be a 90% chance he wouldn’t make it, I was devastated I didn’t have the money to take him to the vet, so what my family and I decided to do is just pray about to the only one that can truly help him it’s GOD, we prayed as a family and kept him hydrated and prayed some more that if it were his will that my pup would get better and after 4 hours had gone by, I kid you not he was running around outside and playing with my other dog and being as hyper as he was before he got sick and I saw no more problems after that night, so my only answer to you guys that are searching for you guys to save your dog is prayer and keeping the dog hydrated. Honey can cause botulism in young animals and humans. I recommend maple syrup instead.

After visiting the vet and my baby diagnosed with parvo, I thought for sure I was going to lose him! They quoted me 7k - 10k to "fix him". 😢 Because I couldn't afford that, they sent him home with a diarrhea med, 2 nausea pills and a "best of luck." Luckily my mom came across this video, because my doggie is eating after 1 full day of all 3 recommend items listed on this video. As long as you follow the instructions on the box, its easy! Thank you for the video , my dog had Parvo and he was bleeding poop. The clinic told us that we would have to spend $1.5k and we panicked . We ended up putting him down unfortunately. my babyboy passed away in my arms lastnight, purchased paxaid and vibactra + and didn’t see any improvement. Was force feeding him pedialyte every hour of every day. It mightily helped him stay a little longer but that’s it. Please if you want to save your puppy take him to the vet to get proper treatment that’s your best chance. Rest in peace Chopper💚

I wish someone had told me or warned me of the dangers of Parvo. I only knew about rabies virus but each time I went to the vet they just took my money for the shots and told me nothing about Parvo. Makes me sick

I took him to many public parks the beach the mountains joshua tree all kinds of places and the last time i took him to the vet he got a rabies shot and parvo shot i think that lowered his immune system and then i took him to different parks.. 6 days later he got parvo symptoms So every day i feel terrible because i could have prevented it if I wasn't so ignorant about what parvo was..I wish i had known. . I hope it gets better for you for me it's good days and bad days but i still cry every day sometimes a few times though out the day.
It's advisable to limit your dogs outdoor activity and visit with other dogs in vaccination phase.

My puppy recently got parvo & it isnt something new to us! We couldnt get a ride to the vet & when we rescheduled for her shots she had not been eating the day before.. She tested positive for parvo & we bought 3 medicines from the vet.. We got a syringe thats supposed to help with dirreah & she pooped solid this morning, & yesterday twice. She has a bit of runny poo but then it got more solid. I just ordered the vibactra & should be getting it tomorrow! Shes been getting fed rhe pedialyte & baby food with dyne. Pray for Skyy! Thank You So Much...My pitbull 17 week old puppy was on day 2 of feeling ill. I took him to the Vet, he diagnosed a week ago, they tried to tell me $700 for the take home meds or $1500 to leave him there. They basically told me if I didn't buy the treatments he wouldn't make it. I also have his sister and Mom and Dad with no symptoms that they said to treat 😮💨 "Vibactra Plus" and "Paxaid" I purchased them both along with no flavor. THEY ARE A GOD SEND!! I feed him white rice with chicken broth and pedialyte in the food. I medicated him 4 times a day, and gave him 1 full pedialyte a day. By the next day he was with 50% more Energy. He stopped throwing up by day 2. We are now at day 7 of his Diagnosis and he's eating and pooping normally and back to his mischievous self lol I'm also giving his sister treatments just to make sure she stays well too. @@Sergio-Ramirez Did the Pedialyte but had to force her. Still doing it though, Besides the vet's outpatient advice and meds she also said low sodium chicken broth. I decided on a no sodium chicken broth, so I boiled a whole chicken for hours, broke open the bones to get the marrow out, chopped all the meat into fine pieces and put it in her bowl. She slurps it down on her own. Today was the first day of real progress. She actually explored her new home, went outside several times and was very playful, She has Paxxin and Vibractra now also. I got her from the Midland Animal Shelter last Saturday and she was very lethargic. When she turned down bacon and eggs Sunday morning, I rushed her to the vet. Hopefully, she fully recovers, which seems very likely. Thank you, Sergio for your prayers and kind, caring reply. Oh yeah, my pup's name is Shaz.

Hi... my puppy Max got diagnosed with Parvo Saturday.
Wednesday is when he first threw up his food and then again later on that night he threw up what we think was bile. (yellow foamy throw up) My sisters husband told me to get him pedialyte immediately because if I didn’t he would die from dehydration. I went and I think we caught it on time because by now I think he would be dead. Today is Monday and he’s still going strong but he’s not 100% yet. My husband and I took him to the vet again yesterday to get him medicine and doctor gave us the pills to keep him from vomiting. We’re really focusing mostly on hydration but I think we need to have him eat more now that he shouldn’t be nauseous. We have hope but please pray for our baby, he really means a lot to us. He’s not even a year old and currently he’s about 10-9lbs. We’ve been giving him rice to eat and I think today we’ll bring out some chicken or maybe see if in stores they have any syringe type foods already made. I don’t want to give him different foods every few days because idk if that will mess with his digestive system. Thank y’all for the information it gives us more hope. God bless❤️
My neighbor's dog got parvo and all they did was hydrate him and make him drink a yogurt drink with lactobacillus casei. It worked.

I was never really sure when a dog has parvo but it’s honestly easy to notice sooner than later. At first I noticed my 9 week old puppy wasn’t very strong/jumpy as normal, he’s a really chill dog so I really had to watch him. Everytime I picked him up it was sort of like a “im lazy just put me anywhere.” When it was time to eat he wasn’t interested , he didn’t drink any water . I didn’t have enough money for Paxxin so instead i bought Pedialyte , Charcoal-caps, and some Probiotic pills that help with digestive problems. Luckily my moms a nurse and had some prescribed medication called amoxicillin. I put 1 cup of Pedialyte, 2 charco caps , 1 full crushed tablet of amoxicillin, and 1 or 2 probiotic pills. I gave about 10 ml in a oral syringe every 30min-1hr and about 30ml of water every hour. (Sometimes sooner depending on the paleness of the gums). When he was able to drink water on his own without my help I bought baby food , chicken or beef, and let him eat that so he didn’t starve. sadly the next day he started throwing up everything I was giving him and his poop smelt wayyy different almost unbearable.after that I got my mom to bring home some more syringes and sodium chloride for IV’s . I stuck him Filling up the syringe with the sodium chloride all the way to 30 ml , I stuck him in between the collarbone on the back of his neck and Slowly squeezed it in. At first a large bubble forms but slowly goes away as the body absorbs the sodium chloride. It was hard and scary the first couple times but always make sure your hands are washed and clean and you have an extra set of hands, if you can, to help. I did this method and the oral syringe method everytime the bubble went down until he felt better enough to eat. Now he’s strong and such a happy mischievous runt .
BUT , if you do have enough money for “Paxxin” , this medicine is literally God’s work. I had 7 puppies all together , sadly 2 died from parvo before I even knew of the disease and what it does. 3 more of my pups contracted it but I saved them in time with the method above and the medication “Paxxin”(I ordered off Amazon about $50). I didn’t stop anything I was doing before when I was able to purchase Paxxin , just added it in the normal schedule with the directions on the back of the box . My dog also got it (it’s the second day today) and we take her to the vet everyday to give her serum and the doc told us not to feed her anything bc her stomach needs to rest. Idk what else I should do I’m so worried😭 also she doesn’t vomit anymore, she is playful sometimes and she’s hungry and wants food which seems normal? My 4 1/2 Month old yorkie was just tested positive with parvo around an hour ago.. He hasn’t pooped blood, but does have diarrhea. He frequently poops though. 1st day my 5 month old puppy throw up (We thought it was his mother who vomit so we thought it was just big bones that got stuck)
On the 2nd day he was not feeling well and not drinking and eating anything so we force to gave him water with dextrose powder(we didn't take him to the vet bc we thought it was the 1st day but actually it was the 2nd and we also thought that the water with dextrose was enough) and also he still walks
On the 3rd day in the morning he still walks but around 9 we found out that he barely move and his anal got blood bc of parvo we took him to the vet but the first two vet where closed until we found the 3rd vet around 12:45am and the doctor said it was too late (even if we took him early today he wont still make it the doctor said but he would recover if it was the 2nd day but we thought it was the 1st day.
I cried alot while my puppy died in my arms.

I’ve had the worst luck with dogs all my life. I had 3 dogs who all died a horrible parvo death. As soon as I get them they are perfectly fine one day, then the next…Misery, Sickness then death. Traumatized me. I swore I would never get a dog again. Decades later and I have kids now who have begged me for a dog. I finally pulled the trigger and made the decision and we adopted this cute 9 week old puppy. Got him yesterday. Everything was perfect energy health everything perfect . Today all of a sudden he starting to poop looser diarrhea and I think even starting to sleep more. Oh god ! No! Here we go again. This can’t be happening. Idk what I’ll do!!! I tried calling vets in my area and tell me why no one what to see us due to Covid and not accepting new patients. Horrible just my luck.

I thought the paxxin did’t work but it did 🙏 I’m so happy & thankful hopefully when we take him for a check up next week he will be fine an get his shots as well! He’s just a lil gassy still but I’m guessing it’s normal after all his body went thru! Anyone that is reading this don’t give up 😩🙏 keep ur dog hydrated every hour an give him paxxin every hour an Vibactra plus 4x a day & just try showing them attention and talking to them cuz they get really depressed during this I also gave my dog in a syringe chicken broth or puppy formula sometimes or even chicken an rice baby food! If he isn’t eating anything try a lil chicken then add rice an mix it together my puppy wouldt eat anything till I tryed the chicken an rice an he ate an started getting better as well takes time the sooner u catch parvo the better to treat it ASAP! I would also get the medicine from the vet we paid 379 dollars for the exam for parvo an the medicine an iv!

I just found out my puppy has parvo yesterday & I immediately bought paxxin, he drinks suero but he throws it up, so I’m going to try pedialight. I’m using a different type of antibiotics from El Salvador since I couldn’t afford to buy vibactra I hope my baby feels better

My daughter had to get rid of her doberman and he is huge, over 90 lbs I'm sure. He never has been to a veterinarian and is almost 14 years old. My grand daughter and her fiancee moved in with us. They have 2 very small dogs about a year old, one Male, one female. They now have 4 puppies. They pretty much keep to themselves and take their dogs out in the same yard as our big dogs. I began noticing an odd smell, like a nasty poop kinda smell. I don't know if the dogs had or have diarrhea or what but that smell has been around and for several weeks. They have never been to a vet. Last week, fathers day, I woke up and could smell poop, so I went downstairs where dogs sleep and found a bunch of diarrhea and 1 spot of vomit, looked like his food hadn't even been chewed?. It was from one of my goldens. I let the dogs out and then cleaned up mess. Next night same thing. The next day my other golden had diarrhea all over kitchen. I cleaned it, made some booked long rice and boiled shredded chicken and kept fresh water out for them. The next day the doberman had diarrhea, they have all been sleeping in garage for 3 days. They are all active and have great appetites. We can't afford a vet....diarrhea seems to be going away totally from the first golden and 2nd golden seems to be doing good...the doberman too I think...the puppies seem healthy and energetic...I sorta think the small dogs may have started the whole thing?
A. O. Yes be careful....I would highly recommend for you to get the paxxin and vibactra in case a dog gets the virus....and the good thing about the paxxin and vibactra is that it helps with other things like diarrhea...vomiting...if they have different viruses.....so I would highly recommend
