- Parvo virus is a major killer of dogs and puppies in shelters. Austin Pets Alive! (APA!) built the first parvo ward that actively takes parvo positive dogs from the community and other shelters for treatment and then placement. Dr. Alexis Bardzinski and Jordana Moerbe of Austin Pets Alive! discusse the way APA! sets it up safely, their treatment protocols, testing, decontamination, and volunteer participation. This program is operated on a shoestring and saves 500 lives per year. This presentation was recorded at the 2016 American Pets Alive! Conference.

My puppy 4 months old i just have to submit him in emergency hospitalized for 48 hours . I bought insurance for pet but still when you going to emergency doctor want money pay up front then after treatment you have to submit a claims to the pets best insurance to get the different money back . Gross my finger he will able to be strong enough to fight 🙏 . It cost now a day to much $5256 for 48 hours hospitalized treatment . The price now is different from the prices this videos doctor record 5 years a go . Best of luck for everyone . Don’t we love ours furry baby

1. Manuka honey ( 400mgo ) via steinge to stop vomiting. 2. Injecting normal ( boiled bottled water without fluoride, cool down water) water every 2-3 hours for hydration.
That was lot of inf..my puppy was in shock o redy and gyms were gray and pale pretty bad or edy.. And that was with fluid bag and antibiotic ..looking at this video my puppy maybe would survive still ..vet gave now ather options .my puppy was fiting till the end she past on 13 mar 2021
My pup got a parvo 2 days ago.It was a the first time this happened to our family, I bought the meds and antibiotics for him i'm on the clock in medicine but my current problem is his appetite...I tried to feed him boiled chicken and pureed dog food enough for him to eat but he ended up throwing it up and after 2 hours he went for the water then sleep.Please Help me,what should I do?
Hi Maria I currently have same issue and 2days as well keep trying force feed if can every 2 hour a little something Am also using puppy high calories nutritional get too
Don’t feeed your dog while having parvo !!!! Take him to Vet

Can you feed a parvo positive pup? My vet says not to give even water as food will do more damage. Not even meds, oral probiotic also stopped as he said nothing should be given oral. It’s been 3 days she has not taken anything from the mouth. There’s no sign of improvement. Please help..

Why is my puppy that is recovering from parvo starting to get a brown swollen sore blistery stomach and getting cuts on the side
Im still giving him his anitbiotics still but now this is happening im IV to keep him hydrated and force feeding he still wags his tail and puts his face down in the blanket when he sees me coming w the syringe of food and med

@@eli-eq8yj you shouldn't force to feed them...my puppies now have parvo.. the key to solve parvo is injecting bottles water without flouride( boil before use and cool down) then inject under skin ever 2-3hours 3ml

Can I ask for some help? I have a shih tzu she's only almost 3months. We went on a vet today and they confined my puppy luckily I have money for her confinement for this 24 hrs but if she needs to be confined for more days I dont have money for that. I hope you can help me so my puppy can survive :

Local animal shelters do help. They are helping me right now. I’m so grateful. Because my dog has parvo right now and needs hospital stay. I pray he makes it through
2 beloved puppies of mine have died, they can not survive from parvo.

Ours is currently in the vet its been 4 days going on 5 now.. not sure if he will survive, vets have been doing everything they can.. he keeps having diarrhea nonstop.
You vaccinate the sick incoming puppies for Destemper? Do you not know that a distemper vaccinated dog is a "contagious" dog you just created, a harm to the other dogs?
