I had an American Bulldog she always loved the vet. Im happy she did, she had to be put down when she was 11 due to a back injury. Its something im happy about but it is also the most painful experience in my life. Even with all her pain she was happy going in, im so happy she could fall asleep happy and relaxed, granted i would have been even more happy if an operation could have worked so she could have kept living. She was the best part of my life.
I’m so sorry you lost her. I have to put my 2 dogs to sleep within 4 months of each other. That was 3 1/2 yrs ago, and it still hurts like it was yesterday.
I am so sorry that you had to do that because it hurts too much to lose them. They are not dogs or cats; they are family. I had to live with putting two dogs to sleep that were the best part of my life, aside for my children, so I know what you are feeling. I am so sorry for your loss. I am happy that they were blessed by having you in their lives. You made the difference for them by loving your baby. I didn’t want another dog because I was afraid I would compare them with my little girl. They are polar opposites. I grew to love my little boy. His sweetness, his personality, his cuteness is unreal. I didn’t compare so it allowed me to be able to see the greatness of this baby. He is precious. I respect the people who are dedicated to the rescue of feral cats and dogs who foster them. God has a special mansion waiting in Heaven for them.
I've never understood how a dog can seemingly gain a hundred pounds and become immovable? It baffles me. It's like they have an internal gravity control knob.
Dogs are telepathic. They recognize bs. They don't want unnatural treatments and toxic vaccines. Graphene oxide is in every shot. It causes DNA split, immune deficiency, and degenerative diseases. Dogs are already developing conjoined middle pads( similar to goat's hooves) due to DNA alteration. @@mark2073
That’s the last thing they are. It’s the owners who are children. Give the dogs the respect and understanding they deserve as DOGS, instead of treating and talking to them like 3 year old kids.
I never tell my dog when we're going to the vet. She just thinks she's going for a walk but when we reach the vet her reaction is like "Dad, how could you?!"
In addition to general anticipatory anxiety, including of things like an injection, I think part of the reason animals do not like the vet is they remember how they feel after vaccinations, as the effects can last a long time, and affect them physically, emotionally, mentally. They also can smell and hence strongly sense other animals who were there, who were similarly upset, near death, or put down.
My dog loves the vet. As soon as he walks in the door they spoil him with treats and ear scratches and such. He literally starts whining and howling when we drive by the vet clinic.
why do the owners of the small/medium sized dogs always pull the leash like victims instead of lifting their dogs up? rather pull so they can't breathe 🤦♀️
Because if they squirm/freak out while your carrying them, you run the risk of accidentally dropping them, and for some dogs, especially smaller and older dogs, that can be very dangerous.
I have a very old english bulldog named Pancho, he has had so many health issues he knows vet is there to help him out with those issues so no complaints.
Please people don't drag or pull your dog with a neck collar ! You can cause serious injuries. Spend $20 on a body harness. Better for your dog and makes it so much easier on you too !
We had to leave our dog at the vet for a few days of IV treatment. This was going to be hard on him for two reasons: he was an adult dog rescued from the pound by us a couple years prior, and the medicine he had to get would make him sick. When we arrived to pick him up and take him home from the vet, he did something he had never done before or since: three back flips of pure joy.
your experience with the dentist is nothing compared with about 75 years ago things have improved in those years gone by the vet might as well be a funeral parlor for pets
My dogs love the vet. He's always greeted with hugs and kisses. Vaccinations and other injections are done by me (I have a license). More invasive treatment or stitching a wound? They trust me enough to trust the vet. Never a problem, not with my dogs or my pony's... The main thing is how much the pets trust their owner.
I wish people who have dogs that lay down when they do not want to go somewhere would use harnesses. Dragging a dog by the neck can cause back pain, throat damage, and other discomfort.
My dogs love the vet. But I never dragged them over by their necks, thinking that it is funny. The way they are received and introduced means a lot. A few cases were funny, but the rest was sad....
Thank you! Yes, some of these dogs were in extreme anxiety and it’s not funny. AND training 101, if you pull hard on a dog collar the dog automatically resists. And get a harness people! Ask your vet how many trachea injuries they’ve seen from people yanking on collars. I can’t stand seeing it.
Thank you for bringing that up. I'm always telling people to loosen the leash and keeping it relaxed as much as possible. We're their pack leaders, and we want our dogs to trust us. I've had four Guide Dogs throughout my life, and only I can keep my dog calm and submissive when I'm calm and receptive. Receptivity and respect are the third and fourth most important ways I can help my dog, but it comes with lots of love and praise! Most people "correct" their dogs, but they forget to praise and reenforce cooperation and good behavior. All these things tied together make for an excellent dog-owner relationship. Have fun with your dogs!
I've been Blessed with many Animals throughout my life. They're smarter than you think. They knew, you talk to them they understand. Some of these were sad because if you knew that, your Animals would've not been traumatized. Like people, all are not the same.
Ginger Cat, you are doing such great service to humanity! And I don't mean that lightly but wholeheartedly. Esp. in today's world, we need such love and adoration depicted in the videos!! Million kudos to you and to our animal friends. What would we do without them?
I had my cat at the vet today and while we were waiting there were two huge dogs quivering while waiting, one that came rushing out of the exam room dragging the owner to the exit door making it difficult for her to pay and a cute little dog that seemed fine. I asked the owner if she knew she was at the vet and he said, ‘Most certainly, she pooped at the front door right before coming in.’
Our dog loves to go anywhere. Even the vet's office...until she sees the exam room. "Uh-huh...not going in there. Fine...but, I'm climbing up on your shoulder and hiding my face. Please no shots!" 😖😄
It's always fun to see how the biggest dogs could be afraid of the vet when small animals such as rabbits, just don't care at all, even they understand they are at the vet for a vaccine or something else, they have no problem with it. I have 2 rabbits, one is quite shy with strangers but the first time she went to the vet, she was so friendly I was amazed.
I had a Rough Collie many years back now who absolutely loved going to see the vet. lol She used to be so eager to get in to see the vet, that she used to try and get in the room before the next dog could take it's turn. I have had many dogs since we used to show them, all stayed none ever rehomed or discarded but I think she was the only one that actually ever liked going. The vet did used to make a lot of fuss of her and give belly rubs, so I guess that might have been why.
One should NEVER pull a dog (or cat) by the type of harness that is just a collar around the neck! It can cause ALL sorts of damage - delicate neck vertabrae. Throat, larynx and trachea (wind pipe) and damage to eyes and inner ear (pressure). As some are shown - use a full body harness (no neck involved).
I love that dogs in any language are the same.
They know truth. Poor kiddos. I cry my eyes out.
Those puppy cries,touches my heart

I would NEVER Put down my pets, God will decide how they go and when they go! Would you put down your REAL HUMAN CHILD DOWN NO MATTER WHAT ?????
It always fascinates how when a dog decides that it does not want to move it does NOT want to move and does a dang good job of it.
I've never understood how a dog can seemingly gain a hundred pounds and become immovable? It baffles me. It's like they have an internal gravity control knob.
00:45 its a rat in a dog video?

Animals do need vets !
Listen to Animals !
Raise animals holistic, animal heal themselves !
We had 3 Rottweilers over a 25 year period of time, and they all loved to go to the vet! And the vets really loved them.❤️
OKAY. **THAT'S* a First!!! hahahaha.....
Are you saying your dogs are better because of that??? Because its not the case
Same with our golden retriever. Vet always gave a compliment because the dog had almost the exact same weight every time
i bet they weren't neutered...

My Golden Retriever loved going to the vet. He always got liver treats from the vet after his visit.

I never tell my dog when we're going to the vet. She just thinks she's going for a walk but when we reach the vet her reaction is like "Dad, how could you?!"
TRUST your dog! He got better instinct about people and places! He doesn’t want to go, find one where he would go.
Turns out dogs and humans have something in common - neither likes to be poked and prodded by doctors.
In addition to general anticipatory anxiety, including of things like an injection, I think part of the reason animals do not like the vet is they remember how they feel after vaccinations, as the effects can last a long time, and affect them physically, emotionally, mentally. Thought the same about them smelling illness and death
Usually dogs dont like vets, so is cool to see some brave dogs. 🐶💪💪
My dog loves the vet. As soon as he walks in the door they spoil him with treats and ear scratches and such. He literally starts whining and howling when we drive by the vet clinic.
Jabs? Dogs have more sense than humans.

Chill out!
Я вел себя так же , когда меня в детстве водили к стоматологу .....😁 Всем питомцам -- нашим друзьям : здоровья и долголетия ! 💗🐕
You take your puppers to the vet not to test their strength, you go there to test yours. Always a better workout than 2 hrs in a gym.
Hahahaha❤
My dog sees the vet clinic as a place to socialize like the dog park-and she’s had major surgeries!

One has to wonder what negative experiences these dogs have at the vets. My pets love their vet visits.
They can’t wait to get in the door.
