if you look at old school drummers like Jo Jones, and Payne, and the like they smiled while they played, they didnt make stupid ass faces so many drummers make today. It may seem trivial but I like that she smiles and doesnt get "Oh" faced while she is playing. As to her skill, Im a bass player, she sounds tight to me.
For that upcoming Deftones cover....it's gotta be "Knife Party" I see you might be covering Death and Necrophagist eventually? *swoons* How about Suffocation- "Catatonia"

I'm really surprised at how straightforward metal drumming seems to be in these songs. Then again I don't know much about this genre of music, but double bass is usually associated with more aggressive music. Maybe I don't dislike this stuff as much as I thought, but my Slayer and Exodus buddies might not understand lol.
