True,, I was 17 at an autumn concert in Perth Australia in early 1972. I'll never forget the opening bars of heartbreaker, the air was vibrating on my skin I could feel it. People sitting on their porches 10 miles away could hear it.
I'm 75, and saw them in 1969 the same night Armstrong stepped on the Moon. Definitely a night to remember. They played the whole first Album and most of the as yet unrealeased second. Sat stage high five rows back on the aisle. I may be old, but I got to see all the great bands!🤣
That is our advantage. When the reactors say they wish they'd been there, I always laugh and tell them if they'd been there they'd be in their 70's now. 😖
I'm 57 and have had the pleasure and honor of having seen Led Zeppelin 6 times in concert. ABSOLUTELY the greatest band to ever exist. Four ROCK GODS who produced 8 PERFECT ALBUMS with not ONE song on any of them that wasn't great.
I was actually at this concert. I saw them twice that week and I believe they played 4 nights to wrap up the tour. The video was a compilation of two nights for the movie "The Song Remains the Same".
The album was released in 1969. (I was 19 years old. Yes, I am old now, but still love LZ!) I was lucky enough to see them in concert 5 times, Page & Plant in 1978, Robert Plant 2 times, and have tickets to see him and Allison Krauss in April! I really enjoy seeing young people enjoying this music, and providing honest and thoughtful reactions! Keep it up and I'll subscribe...
I was 18 when I was at Knebworth '79 (so I'm just a youngster! 😂) So lucky to have seen one of their last performances with Bonzo (RIP) Quality never gets old.... somehow music went from this to Justin Bieber 🤔🤣
Page & Plant in 1978? Bonzo was still alive in 78 Debby. U mean u saw LZ? I was fortunate enough to see LZ in concert twice. My fav band ever and I was fortunate enough to see many great concerts by many great artists. Great time to be a teenager. Mark

Saw zeppelin twice live in london uk. As mentioned in the comments it was so loud my brother next to me was shouting and I couldn't hear him. My ears were humming for days after. Fantastic.
i saw them twice in the 70s, once at a 2,000 seat theatre in southampton, uk in 73 and again in 75 at the last night of their 5 night Earls Court residency.... yes they were seriously loud but magical nights, i was lucky enough to grow up in the best time for music, those days will never be repeated...
Geat reaction. I was so fortunate in my life to have seen so many great band live. I saw Led Zepplin in 1973 at the Atlanta Stadium. I was with a group of people and we were only abt 25 feet away from the stage. The studio version goes into Living, Loving Maid which is great. IL happy that younger generations are getting to experience the 60s and 70s music that I got to experience first hand.
Saw Zep in 1972 at Subiaco Oval in Perth,Western Australia.Awesome concert and pretty much blew us right out of the stadium ! A very powerful but also a very clean sound from memory. I remember my ears were ringing for 3 days after ! Lol ! As far as Rock music in general goes that was easily my favorite show.Nothing has topped that in 50 years of many concerts !!
I saw Zeppelin in concert soooo many times that l lost count, this is a rabbit hole you definitely want to go down, audio or video doesn't matter, just play them! And all of the "Led Heads" will come out of the woodwork, I promise🤟🥰🎵
Even Van Halen looked up to these guys, everyone did. Jimmy Page is a top 3 Guitarist and for many, top of the list. Try Dazed and Confused live but make sure it is from the Song Remains the Same concert movie video, it is 28 minutes of fire, incredible guitar effects and jamming like only they can do. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶
I saw them in December '72 in Scotland, on the same tour and just a few months before that MSG gig. It was as epic as you imagine. I'm 70 now, still rocking and enjoying you young guys discovering the magic.

I was at this show!.... July 29, 1973, Madison Square Garden... Second time I saw them, first time being at the Nassau Coliseum in 1972... one of the best riffs of all time!

Stairway to Heaven live at Madison Square Garden. The Immigrant Song, The Song Remains the Same, No Quarter, When the Levee Breaks, Dazed and Confused, Since I’ve been Loving You, etc, etc
I recommend Hey Hey What Can I Do , it is from the LZ 3 session but was not put on the album.. ' Night Flight ', it is from Physical Graffiti ,a gem that is never reacted to that much but has a cool vibe, ..
I know you guys have listened to several Led Zeppelin songs, if you haven’t watched In My Time Of Dying live at Earls Court (1975), it’s really mind blowing. The MAY 25 version is the best, Page Plays the hell out of steel guitar, Plants vocals are so amazing too.actually this came out in (1969).
For as great as Led Zeppelin is/was they did not play the songs true to the album version. They didn’t play them bad, just not the same arrangement all the way through.🤘🖖✌️🎸🥁🎤🎹
We had reserved seats for the Led Zeppelin 1981 tour but sadly, John Bonham passed away and the tour of course was cancelled. A few years later I got to see Rober Plant backstage at The Forum in Los Angeles, and he did perform with The Honeydrippers but only did a few songs that night. I got to see Robert Plant closeup backstage and he appeared to be out of place on appearance because no one else in the room dressed like him and didn't have the demeanor of a rock star. He looked cool, unimpressed, and anxious to get going. Sometimes rock stars have to meet and greet VIP's as part of their commitment to public relations. He was introduced to everyone in the room but didn't say a word as I remember.
it is so rare to see them in concert, they have done one show this century, the venue held 20,000, it sold in seconds, 20 million people tried to get tickets.
Welcome to THE rock gods, the greatest rock band of all-time and the second most successful group in history, after The Beatles. That wasn't even a proper guitar solo from Jimmy. He was just fooling around. You should listen to more Zeppelin. All 4 members are leading candidates for the title of GOAT, on their particular instrument, with all 4 regularly topping such polls. They were insanely talented musicians and there's hardly a bad song in their entire back catalogue, with half being masterpieces. Their first album went top 10, both in their native UK and in the US. All their following albums reached number 1 in both the UK and the US and all over the World. The one exception being Led Zep 4, which 'only' reached number 2. However it stayed on the Billboard Chart for years, becoming their biggest selling US album and one of the biggest selling albums in history, worldwide. Even their live double album went to number 1, all over the World. This song is from their 2nd album, which catapulted them into international megastardom. It's often said that they are to the 70s, what the Beatles were to the 60s. They were an album band, not really interested in releasing singles. They didn't release any singles in their home country and only released a couple elsewhere in the World. Despite this, they remain firmly esconced in the top 5 biggest selling artists of all-time! The most influential band in the history of rock and the most sampled group of all-time. There'll never be another Led Zeppelin! :)
That's not the whole "Heartbreaker" song live by Led Zeppelin! Songs longer than 10 minutes always get interrupted on UA-cam and if you click off the ad, you can hear the rest of the song! And yes I saw them live. In fact I've seen the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Cream, The Yardbirds, Beck, Bogart & Appice , Black Sabbath and Hendrix live too! (and that's just a few of the bands I've seen live!)
I saw Led Zeppelin live in Detroit in 1975 and was the greatest concert ever. Four of the greatest musicians ever and Jimmy Page is a freaking God on guitar. The only I ever seen that rivals him SRV.
This is a one hit wonder but I bet you both will like it! Argent/Hold Your Head Up album version. The single hit #1 in the early 70's. New subscriber!!
You cannot believe how LOUD it was live!!!! I could not hear for 3 days. I saw them in Denver in 1973. They blew the transformers at the substation.

He was totally high, this is sure, and absolutely insanely great
We had reserved seats for the Led Zeppelin 1981 tour but sadly, John Bonham passed away and the tour of course was cancelled.
Saw them twice, you got your money's worth. 31/2 hours, third encore was Louie, Louie; Heartbreak Hotel; Nadine & Only the Lonely.
Best band ever
More Zep!
I saw Led Zeppelin live in Detroit in 1975 and was the greatest concert ever. Four of the greatest musicians ever and Jimmy Page is a freaking God on guitar. The only I ever seen that rivals him SRV.
This was cut before the song ended.
Missed the best part. 📴
Glad I ran into you guys. Yah, I watched them in Washington DC way back 1995 I think. All I did was stare at Jimmy Page. Lol
This is a one hit wonder but I bet you both will like it! Argent/Hold Your Head Up album version. The single hit #1 in the early 70's. New subscriber!!
The next song Whole Lotta Love is the Finale and they go all out. That is on the movie.
