Hot take: Making Colossus Deadpool’s point of contact with the X- Men instead of say, Wolverine is genius. Where Logan would just kill Wade, cut off his head, stuff his head in a sack, stuff that sack in a box, stuff that box into a hole, and fill that hole with concrete, Colossus is actually willing to help Deadpool, even if Wade doesn’t want help.

Deadpool's obsession with making Wolverine his best friend, even against Logan's will, is another level of hilarity. Hopefully they explore that in Deadpool 3.

In all seriousness though, Deadpool opening up about feeling suicidal and what's actually getting to him was really emotional.
What’s even more for me is Colossus’ treatment of Wade, even as after all the hell deadpool has caused for him and even as he’s berating everything Colossus stands for hes still trying to help him. “Because that’s what friends do, they show up”, we all need a friend like him.
It's sad that the 4 second X-Men cameo is better than X-Men: Dark Phoenix.

@TheGreatPhoenix8 I think that part in deadpool 2 takes place a few days before x men dark phoenix happens so maybe mystique and Jean are getting the danger room ready for training so maybe that's why they're not in the cameo.
@edittzz4175 no maybe the actors as mystique and Jean couldn't be in the cameo was because the studio didn't have enough money to get all the actors so people come up with theories as to why they're not in it.

Attention to details is always nice. The timeline is subtly suggesting the 90s without any affirmations. It has to pretend to be before most of the MCU but not to leave the 2000s, no easy task to do so. But Cyclops is younger, Quick Silver is wearing a Nirvana shirt.
