Another great video Silent, thanks - I didn't know about that resource pack, that is going to be clutch. I wonder if you would consider doing a top XX favorite resource packs video. While I like to keep my game pretty vanilla, there are times (like when building a trading hall), when they are just way too useful to ignore...
tip: you don’t need to trade anything specific to lock a villager’s trades. if you get a mending villager, but it costs a bunch of emeralds, you can purchase the item above it to lock it, then discount it later.
I've had issues with trading paper and locking in the profession but not particular trade before, so I definitely suggest having emeralds before you start and buying the book since I'm not sure whether this bug was fixed or not. I've never lost a trade buying the specific enchantment. Note: This only applies to the first trade in my experience and maybe levelling them up will also lock in the specific trade since every time it happened I only traded paper once.
(1) Missed the fact that on Bedrock EVERY time a zombie spawner spawns zombie villiagers (spawns, not cures or kills), every villager within 16 blocks gets the local discount like you had just converted a villager in front of them. This makes every zombie spawner a potentially auto discounting trading hall. (2) If you are going to have a lot of villagers in a trading hall anyways, just load the middle with their beds, put a roof on top with some water and a lava blade and you have a built in iron farm (which is good, because the smiths all trade favorably for iron - at 4 iron per emerald without any discounts). (3) If you don't have the resource pack (cough, cheat, cough), there are a few things you will need to do. First, when gambling for high level trades you will want to level up existing villagers before committing more to a given profession. This is especially true for librarians. You will want a lot of paper, books, and emeralds for that - but make sure level one is always a trade you want. That way you are not rolling to take an enchantment you already have on an existing guy at a level you have not seen. You only need to take them to level 3 unless you can see that level 4 has a book to identify. You will never need more than one weapon smith (always axe and sword). You can get lucky with a little as one tool smith (hoe, shovel, pick), but hoe is 1 in 4 and shovel is 1 in 2, so only 1 in 8 is perfect. Armor could take as few as two, but only 1 in 4 attempts. Expect to need several. That said, you can always create several and then cull the ones you don't need into lava and replace them from your breeder for other professions to keep your hall as small and lag friendly as possible (never more than 40, and better down at 30). (4) When curing villagers for discounts DO NOT zombify more than one villager of a chosen profession at a time. Especially a profession you have many of. When they cure they will relink to A workstation, but not necessarily the one in front of them (meaning no refreshed trades until you pick up ALL the workstations of that type and match them back to their owner by matched particle effects - unlike Java where they always link to the closest one). (5) If you catch a wild zombie villager without a profession OR convert a villager without a profession then that villager will NOT get a permanent discount. If the ZV has a profession, he will get the discount even if you change his profession later (because you never traded with the old profession). (6) Villagers locked in stalls with an eyeline to their beds (locked in with trap doors) and their profession block next to them are HAPPIER than those allowed to freely roam a large hall as their pathfinding is terrible and they will steal beds, get stuck and unlink from beds, etc. They WANT to be 24/7 work slaves who only dream of the promise of sleep just out of reach before them. Put a torch under their feet for light and to make their entire world spawn proof and keep the trap doors down when not trading with them and they will be impervious to any threat (pillagers CAN actually spawn inside a villager cell with a villager even with max light level - so put in that torch).
for the third, you can just copy your world, change game mode to creative (the copy world) and level up the villager with infinity item in creative mode. if the enchantment is any good then go back and level up your villager in your original world. if not, simply reattach them with their workbench and repeat the method. no need to wasting any resource for dissapoinment anymore..
there's a trade loop that you can do without discounts. Buy 12 glass for 3 emeralds (from librarians of course), craft those to 12 glass bottles and sell those to clerics for 4 emeralds.

Hey, for the glass pane trade loops, what is the optimal amount of cartographers per librarian? I can buy more glass from a single librarian then I can sell to a single cartographer. Edit: Never mind, I just realized with the discount there is no reliable ratio you can use. If anyone is reading this for tips, have a LOT more cartographers than librarians if they are discounted.
You can get 48 glass from one librarian per cycle - this will always cost you 12 emeralds. That is 6x16 for panes (96). So, 1.5 stacks. You can sell 16 trades of panes to a cartographer. That will cost you from 16 to 176 panes (11 per trade at no discount). So, at max discount you are looking at 6 cartographers per glass selling librarian. Without discounts, about two librarians per cartographer (but at a loss of emeralds, so obviously you don't want to do that). If you are getting full discounts, however, you won't need anywhere near that many emeralds as emeralds quickly become trash with good discounts.
You can also put them around a zombie spawner. Every time a zombie villager spawns, the villagers will discount their trades. There's a limit though, I think the max they can discount is 40 emeralds (at least for books, I'm not 100% sure on everything else). You'll never get 1 emerald trade for 1 paper for example, but it's still pretty damned good. I got enough from my zombie spawner villager trading hall to build two full and separate beacons.
You can get 1 paper = 1 emerald trades. I’ve done it. It might’ve been a cartographer but the trade was 1 paper = 1 emerald. If you cure a zombie villager they get permanent trades and they are really low. However since you’re usually building an iron farm when setting up villagers I always have a bunch of the ones that trade iron for emeralds. For anyone one wondering the resource pack has a bug where the villager doesn't restock after a night, if the player hasn't slept. It also comes with a quick crafting ability. Where you can insta craft just like Java.
@@Gooday2day the villagers need to have there own beds and you have to make sure they are connected to them. One of my mending lectern would not restock it's glass trade no matter what I did. It was part of a sketchy iron farm. So I took the villager and linked him to a bed elsewhere. The issue was fixed after that . A villager can link to a bed about 15 blocks away on the same Y- level. None connected villagers don't restock and don't spawn iron golems. You can make sure the villager is connected by breaking and placing the bed.
Imo the best way to get emeralds in the early game is using fletchers because they trade 32 sticks for an emerald and u can get so many emeralds if u just cut down a few large taiga trees and u have multiple fletchers
@@gamerdogthedog Thanks for the information. I did it in my underground base, there are 5 corridors with 26 villagers each, the corridors are 2 high, I had made it 3, but the entire trading area was filled with golems, many were generated, that's why I decided to down it one more block and issue fixed. And we are not talking about lighting, it is properly illuminated with sea lanterns, in the underground base not a single soul spawns. To have this trading hall completely finished it took me a couple of months, but the result was worth it.
That resource pack link has been exactly what I’ve been looking for for months. I just downloaded like 8 of them. THANK YOU. No more spending money on texture packs just to get certain features on it. This was HUGE
I recommend a butcher for porkchops. They are almost as good as golden carrots, and you get 5 for 1 emerald without having to do any discounts, and you can see it on the second trade without having to have any behavior packs to see the last trades if you need to reroll
I personally use a butcher for food, either steak or pork. Golden carrots just go too fast since you have to eat 3 to get back to full from 3 haunches. The 3rd time eating really makes a difference in how slow it feels lol
Farmers are good to sell food to so you can get easy emeralds. Auto crop farms are simple to setup. Also golden carrots have a higher saturation level meaning the energy bar goes down slower.
5:58 I'm suprised you don't know this but all you need to do is,just trade with the villager doesnt need to be the item you want .Once he has been traded with once he is locked forever. In this case ,you can lock it with the paper trade
Thank for link! I been wanting full grass blocks! And i just started villager trading hall with zombie spawner so seeing everything trade npw make the grind lesss grindy!!
A bit of a cheat, but if you're playing less than Hard difficultly and can control the difficulty setting you can bump it up to hard during the conversion process then back down afterwards. I used to do that until I started just playing Hard all the time because I got tired of changing the settings and wanted a bit more challenge anyway.
I don't know about that resource pack. The time spent scrolling down to see trades and then trading up to get the later books, you might as well just keep rolling, second or third bois are a nice bonus.
silentwisperer i first found you cuase of your raid farm tutorial and it helped me so much in my survival world just one question how do you get the resourse pack to see all the trades of villagers on xbox?
Additional tips: 1) You can turn a nitwit (green shirt) into a zombie and cure it to make it become a normal villager. 2) Cure your librarians until their paper trade is about half cost AND THEN use the sticky piston to change their book offering. The book will always be super cheap at that point.
it's hard difficulty, it does work in easy and normal but the percentage of the villagers converting to zombies is 100% in hard mode, the other difficulties could end up with you losing Villagers as the % Chance of the villager converting is lower in Easy and Normal Mode, it's only 100% in hard
Omg the fact that if you equip the pack then you can get a flexure and cheek if they sell a weakness arrow then you don't need brew ever again for villagers
actually thank you so so so so much for this video, one of the most detailed most helpful video i have ever seen that texture pack turned me from hoping into believing thank you so much
edit: I finished building your villager trading hall /iron golem cat farm and it took me quite a while but I got a mending villager. Now I only need to bring down the cost of the enchanted book but at least I got a mending librarian.
Doesn't re-rolling all the trades for a bunch of workstations at once run the risk of getting the villagers all mixed up with which workstation is theirs positionally?
Bedrock Exclusive: I suggest to invest on Fletchers since their last trade can be tipped arrows... and if you are lucky enough you can get tipped arrows of decay in survival!
Hey, hope u see this question. I tired to cure my armour villager to get a 1 emerald trade for diamond armour, byt i wouldn't get cheaper. It is still the same amount of emerald since the first cure. Was it nerfed or removed this feature?
If you are careful you can combine a zombie spawner, villager breeder, trading hall and iron farm. on my 4th build now and can get to emerald armour and mending within a few hours of play.

Just dropping a comment for the algorithm. I play on an IPad mini (I originally bought Minecraft for my kids decades ago, played with them, and could never really get into it on a computer). You’re the best content creator to consult. I don’t always build the farms I see on UA-cam. But when I do; and then there was silence
I have a full list on my phone of the best enchantments and which enchantment goes with what tool. It’s really useful!
Drop the list below please
Yes please!
Also so you know, always put the cheapest enchantments on your tools first. And if you can enchant it in an enchanting table before hand, that is even better!
Drop the list or else your family is gonna say bye bye
OMG tell me which are the best enchantments for every diamond tool and armor. I want to know so I dont have to keep rerolling to find out that level isnt possible
2:07 nitwit getting sturdy with that moonwalk
Can I just say your videos are amazing dude, I've learned so much watching. From Iron farms to villager trading. Amazing job man and thank you for all the hard work you put in on them.
Glad you like them! always here to help :D
@@silentwispererhey can you pls help me, my armorer villager will only sell me two types of armor no matter how many villagers I try it might be because I have only had a max of two at a time but idk
I have raid farm from oink oink
I seen him from silentwhisperer
Video description very cheap
Farm not need to spend too much and infinte things I have like 6 chest filled full of emeralds
Another idea is to have an iron farm above your villager hall. Take the iron bars and trade it 4 for one emerald. I get tons of emeralds that way.
What iron farm did you do
Sometimes villagers aren't giving you the armor/tools you want :/

For anyone one wondering the resource pack has a bug where the villager doesn't restock after a night, if the player hasn't slept. It also comes with a quick crafting ability. Where you can insta craft just like Java.
I don't have the resource pack, but my villagers won't restock the X out trades. Do you know if they need their own beds to restock?
As always, excellent information. I have my trading hall with 130 villagers, and I use this texture to so that they give me the best trades possible
Make sure your villagers are safe from lightening and such! And make sure baby zombies can’t get to them either
Silent I have a huge suggestion you can give structra resource pack of that farm in your downloads it will help lot of mobile players
Hey! Just wondering if the discounts still stack in 1.22, or is it limited to just 1 discount no matter how many villagers you cure??
i was waiting for you to do an updated tutorial on this because only you do them the best lol
That resource pack link has been exactly what I’ve been looking for for months. I just downloaded like 8 of them. THANK YOU. No more spending money on texture packs just to get certain features on it. This was HUGE
i clicked the link and cannot find the resource pack, any help?
nvm i am dumb
Can you do it on mobile or only pc bedrock?
@@auraaqua4418 can you do it on mobile or only pc bedrock?

Would you please do a video on how to maximize villager trade discounts as of the newest update. Please and thank you.
2:08: cow just walkin backwards
I recommend a butcher for porkchops.
They are almost as good as golden carrots, and you get 5 for 1 emerald without having to do any discounts, and you can see it on the second trade without having to have any behavior packs to see the last trades if you need to reroll
I agree. Butcher is better then farmer. I don’t understand why content creators like farmers more.
@@IceHeart2671 golden carrots can breed horses
I personally use a butcher for food, either steak or pork. Golden carrots just go too fast since you have to eat 3 to get back to full from 3 haunches. The 3rd time eating really makes a difference in how slow it feels lol
Like I HAVE a farmer for when I need golden carrots for breeding/potions but use butcher for food
Farmers are good to sell food to so you can get easy emeralds. Auto crop farms are simple to setup. Also golden carrots have a higher saturation level meaning the energy bar goes down slower.
Mangrove farm when?
I Appreciate the video silent 💙
ty for this, I rely on you to give us amazing content and tutorials on bedrock!
5:58 I'm suprised you don't know this but all you need to do is,just trade with the villager doesnt need to be the item you want .Once he has been traded with once he is locked forever. In this case ,you can lock it with the paper trade
Thank for link! I been wanting full grass blocks! And i just started villager trading hall with zombie spawner so seeing everything trade npw make the grind lesss grindy!!
bedrock is great. even though villagers are complicated this video and your other videos like the villager breeder video helped out a lot thank you
A bit of a cheat, but if you're playing less than Hard difficultly and can control the difficulty setting you can bump it up to hard during the conversion process then back down afterwards. I used to do that until I started just playing Hard all the time because I got tired of changing the settings and wanted a bit more challenge anyway.
Note the piston trick to reset the villagers is a bedrock exclusive. Not available in Java.
I never knew you could re employ villagers, I'll definitely be doing this from now on in my hardcore fails.
I really appreciate that librarian can sell thorns III, mending and unbreaking III. Really cool bookworm
Thanks for this, it’s really helpful!
no edit no bg music but still i love watching u whisper
u don't actually need edit or bg music u r naturally entertaining ❤️
Never gonna miss any one of your uploads!!
Top tip if you can’t be asked to build a trading hall then just dig a 2 block deep hole in the village and put the bell in it
I don't know about that resource pack.
Additional tips:
1) You can turn a nitwit (green shirt) into a zombie and cure it to make it become a normal villager.
2) Cure your librarians until their paper trade is about half cost AND THEN use the sticky piston to change their book offering. The book will always be super cheap at that point.
Can i get the villager trading resource pack on ps5?
The bedrock tweaks thing did not work I downloaded the file but I don't know how to use it as a resource pack, please help me.
Currently setting up my new trader hall. My tip would be take frequent breaks to keep yourself from mass murdering all of them.
OMG the truth... I don't know whether to laugh or to cry.
bro u can use niwit in bedrock edition by zombiefield them! try out plz
What difficulty do you need to get the curing to work. Guessing it normal or hard difficulty
it's hard difficulty, it does work in easy and normal but the percentage of the villagers converting to zombies is 100% in hard mode, the other difficulties could end up with you losing Villagers as the % Chance of the villager converting is lower in Easy and Normal Mode, it's only 100% in hard
i literally just started a new single player world and recently discovered a village, so perfect timing again 😊
Literally was watching a video because I just found you and I look back for another and u posted one
what about discounting fletchers? when their trades are lowered they literally sell 1 stick for 1 emerald better than the farmer
Omg the fact that if you equip the pack then you can get a flexure and cheek if they sell a weakness arrow then you don't need brew ever again for villagers
You can also get the proximity discount by building the farm near a zombie spawner. Every time a zombie villager just spawns, prices go down.
Wanted to say that also, thats realy the easiest way to get the 1 emerald trades on every villeger in your tradinghall
actually thank you so so so so much for this video, one of the most detailed most helpful video i have ever seen that texture pack turned me from hoping into believing thank you so much
edit: I finished building your villager trading hall /iron golem cat farm and it took me quite a while but I got a mending villager. Now I only need to bring down the cost of the enchanted book but at least I got a mending librarian.
After centuries, centuries, silent finally made the guide I've always wanted 😭😭😭
Hey silent some how i can't use any of the texturepacks on the Website do you maybe know why?
Thats feeling when your favorite Minecraft UA-camr uploads 😊
Thanks for another video Unicorn Squirter!
How do you download the rss pack onto xbox?
Doesn't re-rolling all the trades for a bunch of workstations at once run the risk of getting the villagers all mixed up with which workstation is theirs positionally?
Yes but then u just see when they work wich workstation that work at
Bro that arrow trick is incredible
bro i play bedrock and this is gonna help me so much so i subscribed!
Bedrock Exclusive: I suggest to invest on Fletchers since their last trade can be tipped arrows... and if you are lucky enough you can get tipped arrows of decay in survival!
Awesome video thanks for sharing. How do i get the trading helper resource pack though
thanks for this video I actually didn't know a lot of this stuff but I was just wondering if I can get these mods on ps4?
Thank you!
This is a great channel.

He show cases a couple of filter designs with the last designs being a 4x and 8x. It's kind of at the end of the video so you could have missed it. 4x still works 8x is the same principal just needs more hoppers.
@@romanshorif2330 - Thanks! But doesn't this design not work due to the Bedrock bug that prevents a hopper or hopper minecart from collecting an item if there are multiple items above it?
@@PhantomPhoton yeah you have to use droppers and make the water stream around a corner to collect the items. Use multiple droppers to keep up with gold farm.
Can you get the villager texture pack on PlayStation?
By zombifying and curing Nitwits, they will no longer be a nitwit. This will help speed up building your trading hall, not having to kill the nitwit and waiting for a new ba y villager to grow up
Hi I played maincraft on ps5 , and haven't been able to lower the price to the minimum for instance paper is still 18 for one emerald even though I have done multiple times the conversion to zombie to a villager. I don't know what is wrong
Cure stacking has been removed😶🌫️
i have a problem on xbox you cant download texture packs and we wont be able to do it
Love your videos ! Keep it up 👍🏼
Villagers are op I built multiple iron farm + trading hall designs everywhere around my world and some has a zombie spawner near them to get a ton of discounts and emeralds
thanks for the video, but question, how can we have the future trades of the villager for minecraft switch????
I want a new villager, the MUSICIAN.
will sell noteblocks and Jukeboxes, will buy music disks. Can make musician play music around the village by putting the disc into the Jukebox. The music will continuously loop without having to take it out.
Will work with Allays to help duplicate, will buy or sell echo shards?
Just an idea
How do you view villager trades long before unlocking them?
Edit: Saw the part in the video that explained it
I prefer the zombie spawner villager discounts, build your trading hall so that the profession blocks are within 25 blocks of a zombie spawner and every single villager will be at minimum prices.... Heck of a lot easier than trying to cure a million villagers
I do this every time. Zombie/iron/trading farm. Currently have a mob farm on top of it too.
How do you reliably find spawners? Iron farm is my immediate build on a new world. I never spelunk enough to find spawners.
@@noahsnell1827 caving is pretty much your only option to find them unless you use chunk base
I used cured blacksmiths to get an emerald beacon. 1 iron for an emerald is a sweet deal.
Yeah, especially if you make one of silent’s iron farms, it is such a great way of emeralds!
You could just use the iron from the farm and make the pyramid out of those. There is no difference unless you want to flex
@@bentherebefore1827 I’m getting all the beacons in Minecraft bar the netherite beacon. I did the iron beacon first, then the gold beacon and then the emerald beacon. I’m currently strip mining for diamonds to get a diamond beacon.
Me upgrades Armorer :

@@jakasmalakas I did it yesterday for my trading hall. Armorers, weaponsmiths, and toolsmiths were the easiest in my hall. Spent over two days trying to get efficiency v. Finally settled for iv instead.
Looks like discounts from curing the villager himself don't stay forever but the prices get worse if the villager is traded with.
If I understand what you're saying, then yes, the prices do go up after a lot of trading, but they will reset to the original discounted price if you leave them alone for a little bit.
can u design a tnt flying machine which moves left to right so i can use it for some builds
For all the years I've been playing minecraft there isn't anything like the cheapest pricing list for each enchantment
1 emerald
I meant normal pricing without zombifying the villager
Looking to set up villager trades now in my world and am looking for some advise. I have experimented but I can't figure it out. I'm trying to make my trades better by curing a infected villager but when I try to give them a job site block (after infection amd cure) the villager won't accept the job block and I've no idea why. Do I have to give them their job first before I can infect and cure them or am I just doing it wrong. Any advice would be much appreciated
i think if you have a workbench in the vicinity they link to that one instead if not then that would be my only guest. i don’t play enough to know lol
@@marcelosan7872 I've tried giving them a job site block before and after curing. They bind to it after but not before and I don't know why. I'll figure it put eventually. Thanks for the advice though

mine is version 1.19.31 bedrock, because I can't see the items until master, I can only if it's exchanging with the Villages to release the other levels, how do I see that it doesn't even appear in yours?
this is probably a dumb question but there's probably no way of downloading resource packs on ps4 right? you can't just go on the website and download it?
all the resources packs are so usefull thanks
Does anyone know if that resource pack can be used on Xbox?
And for other players, how does it work with switch, phone, etc.?
I also am curious if this resource pack works on realms :) if anyone can help me out I'd be super thankful!
the bedrock tweaks pack for seeing locked trades is AMAZING
Hot tip: once you have this set up, you can move your rail line down and send a named zombie around to infect all your villagers. Cure them all, and now you have permanent discounts (x5 I think.)
Hey ! I’v been watching your vids a lot these days, and I’m wondering what packs you’re using, could you make a vid where you showcase all of the packs you’re using and a link to download them pls ? It would be really great ! 👍
Hey is it possible to down load resource packs on say an iPad, cos that is where I play on
Now we just need to find a tutorial on finding a zombie spawner in 1.19 quickly and easily to make some hyper good farms
Chunk base used to find spawners but they Might have discontinued it
@@never_not_a_kind_kid1811 apparently a secondary seed or something was added in the 1.18's that selects where to place spawners and as such they can't figure out where the spawners are without it. But I could be wrong on that. But I would love to have one of those farms again
