Can you go more in depth on how you used the diode for the taillight? Currently wiring up a similar setup to my xr600 and I’m having issues getting the taillight to work with the headlights

The diode is just there to make sure my high beams don't come on when I put the low beams on if you have your tail light wired to your headlight it should come on no problem

Yeah it conditions the power coming out of the stator to charge the battery or run accessories. Any generic four-wire one like this should work as long as it's designed for a small engine

I’m getting ready to add a led light bar to my sons Honda 90 so going to be doing some of this myself real soon did you need to replace the stator with a high out put stator or did you stay with the factory? Your XR came with lights already so your stator is probably a lot more out put than what’s in this 90 I’m working on so do you think I should buy the high out put or try it with the factory and see if it has enough out put first? I haven’t started in this yet just starting to do some research on this before I start buying things
