Thank you for specifically saying there's no polarity with brake switch. I cut my connectors off to shorten the wire and realized I didn't mark which wire was what, I've been searching for that exact answer to make sure I don't shorten anything out. That's literally the last connection I need to make to finish wiring my bike

Pieced my own kit together just bought the Tusk main harness and I saved $100.00 over buying the whole tusk kit. Now with my savings my brand new plastics only cost me $68.00!

THIS IS A GOOD BASIC VIDEO BUT ONE WITH MORE DETAIL ON THE NEEDS FOR BOLTS would be great. What drill size, etc. What do you do with a YZ450FX which comes with no headlight etc. Purchased the polisport light but no instructions/comments on how to mount it. Lots of details missing here. I will figure it out but hoping the number one resource in the industry could guide me the right way
Did you figure it out? I didn't buy this kit but I bought a wiring harness and my headlight but I don't know how it should go? I have no idea how to wire it this video kind of helped

Paint Typex on the mount holes...gently hold the lighting mount up to it,squeeze once,drop it down and drill...far easier,no measuring required! Oh,step-drill it,afix rubber seals,use a large washer of the bolts,vibration proof!

Just install it using the 12v coil wires... It will run without batteries... Use a fuse for that too.

how did you guys install the aftermarket headlight? Could I wire a plug socket to the blue, black, and white wires from the harness, and plug that into my LED?

Not sure about other states, but the state I live in requires side reflectors. Red in the rear, yellow at the front which this kit doesn't seem to include.
That is correct, this kit does not include reflectors. Each state has their own requirements which is why we always recommend checking your specific state laws to ensure you have everything you need. You can still utilize this kit and add reflectors where required easily.

I could use some tips.. on installing lighting kit on a sur-ron LBX. I dont want to tap into the bikes battery if i dont have to. Ideally i would figure out a way to use a 25,000mah power bank to power the lights i mean people use drill batteries 🔋 so why not.. but i am lost at how to do this.

Instead of connecting the supplied brake switch to the rear brake, you could install it on the front master cylinder and it should work, correct?

I'm making my 2003 yz250f street legal. I just really need the brake light setup part of this kit. Would that work? Bike doesn't have a battery but I'm guessing I can just use one? I just am hesitant because it said "only for bikes with headlights already installed." If that's not the case I'm totally buying this
IcyThaneProductions it only says that because the kit doesn’t come with a headlight and in most states you need a headlight along with everything else in the kit to be street legal, this kit will work on any bike I have the same one on my ktm 505 XC-F and my cr500

bought this 09 husqvarna te510 I figured out its your harness My issue is previous owner pickled the rear and all the oem plugs and tusk harness connectors where smashed and I cant figure out if I have the wires correct can you provide me with a diagram if possible

You will need to do some other modifications (stator, headlight, etc.) in order to use this kit. This is designed to be used with bikes that already have a headlight. There are quite a few people who have built road-legal CRF250R and 450R's but you would have to do some more research to see exactly everything that would be needed.

I found a problem... my engine killswitch by tusk plugs into the main harness but doesnt show anywhere on the diagrams how to connect to my bike and all the videos I found say it's only an on and off switch for the lights even though it says engine stop on it... why is it my bike was street legal until I bought the tusk compact switch panel and now the harness too since I am obviously to stupid to reconnect 5 wires....
so no front blinkers?

You should be just fine. When you start to add auxilary lighting, that's when you might want to look into one. But with the "X" from Honda you should be fine. Thanks *Eben Heacock* for the question.

I have an 09 ktm 505 enduring and can say this kit doesn't work the best on this bike even though the site I bought it from said it would work. Anything I've tried to install has been a pain in the ass and am currently having trouble connect 2 led 2x2 lights for the front as in the head light cables from the control don't give power to the lights
