This is a great show for cold temps. Paid $75, so not bad. The midsole cushion is very soft. It does not have any rebound effect like my Pegasus 39. I use it for Winter weather everyday.
yeah the seal skin really helps to keep the snow out when jogging or running on the trails. would recommend to use yak traks as the sole does not grip very well.
Been pretty good. Typical Nike quality though. Noticed that the sole is starting to separate from the shoe. So starting to feel water come in down around the toe box, but shoes are really only supposed to last 6-8 months anyways. So they’re at their end of use anyways. Overall was a good trail shoe, especially for backpacking. Really comfortable and warm.
@@ZeroLight_YT well on the plus side your feet will be dry from the rain, but wet from sweat. lol. jk. I don't know how much they will sweat, but they are lined with fleece.
@@SterlingSigurdsen yup right, pretty good for rainy weathers, we have rain here for like 3 months haha. Let's see how it'll turn out to be. Do you have any suggestions for shoes with similar or better looks than these?
@@ZeroLight_YT the Adidas terrax are pretty good, and are not as toasty, and I like the Salomon Speedcrosses. For when it is not raining, I still like my Adidas ClimaCool shoes for when it is hot, as I can wear those with or without socks.
So these are the Winflo 8 but with the variant of being an ACG version. I would say just depends on if you run in warmer weather than the standard version. They did just come out with the 9 and I am sure it’s even better than the 8. So short answer good trail shoe in the shield and good road shoe in non-shield version.
@@SterlingSigurdsen Thank You. I got them for my son for $41.97, once they arrived I thought they were so well made and beefy that I'd like a pair. They are not on-sale anymore but have restocked in my size!
This is the type of review videos we need, thanks!
I love these!
yes they're really good

Thanks Sir, very useful 👍🏼
Thank you ❤️🙌🏼
Did water rain go through it? Please let me know i want to buy it??
No they are completely waterproof. That is because of the ACG coating. It's like a scotchguard or Teflon coating
@@SterlingSigurdsen thank you so much i wanna buy it for rain weather proof
@@SterlingSigurdsen what about the skin its fragile ? Or solide ?
@@azzeddine66 it’s solid. Mine hasn’t torn yet.
Is this hot for tropical weather?
not really
Hi, how was your experience so far with that shoes? Is it squeking overtime?

Can I wear it in regular use in summers about 30-35 C weather
I mean you can, but would probably be pretty toasty. They are insulated quite well.
@@SterlingSigurdsen damn, i live in India and ordered these from US, hope so it won't be that sweaty in office with AC around 20-22 degrees.

Which would you say is better for pure running? The winflo 8 or the shield one which is in your vid

Is it waterproof
Yes they're very waterproof. I used them this past weekend here in Vermont backpacking. Very comfortable on long hauls and decent ankle support.
Is it true to size?
Yes width and length. I wear a US 8.5 and they fit perfect.

Really?
Really what? The water proofing? Yes. They’re sealed really well.
