- Finally Full Size Invasion made it to the Rubicon Trail. We had two groups with one starting a the Tahoma side a day earlier. The main group started from the Loon Lake side. We met up at the gatekeeper and ended up camping at Buck Island Lake. Thanks to my friend Derek for getting some clips of the rigs on this trip. Check out his UA-cam channel, @dmanbluesfreak

You guys had some killer rigs. That dually was sweet. We appreciate the trail etiquette. The scrambler on Cadillac was part of my group. Another Jeeper got it welded up for us. Good times .

awesome! my first rock crawling experience was taking my 77 k5 through the con 21 years ago, no front locker, 38" Sx tires, no skid plates...drove it there drove it home, no idea how i made it. Ignorance was bliss when youre 21 haha
Awesome, and back then 38's were huge. Had 35" boggers on my high school truck in the 90's
@@foolsize for sure, on a open D44 too! Now i have to have fab axles and 300m to make 37's survive on my 4500 car haha life used to be simpler

The Rubicon was cool 30yrs ago now every dork and their mother does it! because it's easy. People don't travel to go on the Rubicon it's a joke and clowns at every corner as you can see
