Like you, I love sourcing more than listing, so it has the potential to get dangerous! However, as a new postcard seller, I watch lots of sellers' videos, and now understand the importance of having a plan in place for dealing with overstock, so I am making sure to tackle this right from the start. I'm not a Whatnot kind of a person, so I will sell off as bundles as I go along. Thank you so much to you and Popeye and Mark and all the other postcard experts for sharing your knowledge to help us newbies make the best decisions possible while setting up our shops. I think I can speak for others too when I say we all appreciate you. :)
Love your content, thanks for providing it. Just a tip for anyone that labels their postcard box lids and is a bit OCD like me. I use the wide light blue painters tape to label all my postcard boxes and just write on there what you have written similar to what you have on your boxes. That way you don't have to use a marker and can switch up what is in boxes by just replacing the tape.
Thank you for offering this opportunity to us. I’ve been a collector for about 10 years. I became an eBay reseller three months ago so I’m still building my inventory. I need better quality cards very badly so I’m very interested in your offer. . my specialty is Artist-signed cards.
I am a member of your Facebook group for artist-signed cards! I don’t deal much in them, and I could put together a nice box for you I think. A collection I bought recently had a lot of artist-signed cards. Email me if you’re interested!
I forgot to leave a comment this morning, I was so struck with all those cards. You are the card man! (sent an email earlier in the day like everyone else, lol)
I'm preparing to start reselling postcards on ebay. But unfortunately had to have surgery and I'm off work right now. I'd like to buy a box but just don't have the money right now. Do you deal with holiday cards?
@@henrys3629 Hi There, that is what I am afraid of, can always fall back on Mark at SM Postcards, he has them by the hundred in his ko-fi store, but I loved the locomotives in this collection. We will have to see. fingers crossed.
I have had several folks reach out and claim boxes already, so I think it would be unfair to them to not sell those individual boxes, but happy to make a big bulk deal. Plenty of awesome cards left. Just shoot me an email!
Yeah I have gone through them like I said in the video! Some a month ago, some several years ago. Still a lot of meat on the bone. And these aren’t postcards that I wouldn’t list, they’re just cards I don’t have time to list. I can buy a lot faster than I can list.
No, but I’ll always be a one-man shop…a lot of the bigger sellers have listers/employees to keep up with all of their inventory. Instead of doing that I’m just selling mine in bulk!
Hello Chris I commented on one of your recent videos.... And have subscribed you give a lot of good content and I thank you for that the last time I was asking about discord I would like to know more information please as I stated before I've never used discord or to know what channel to use if you could please let me know thank you. Excellent content again I do appreciate

Your video title sure got my attention! Smart plan. Good luck with your sale.

Great tip and I should have done that!
I have recently been diagnosed with CDO. I'm told it's just like OCD, but the letters are in the correct order.

May get a good deal putting a box up on ebay on auction with a reserve

Do you deal with holiday cards?
Yeah I don’t list a lot of them but I come across them a fair bit!
We just got the tour and now you close shop? :) The title got me :| I would have watched either way.
Cheers,
Julien
Just some light spring cleaning 😉
Good morning. Great video.
Does that price you quoted include shipping? Wasn't totally clear. And if not do you know the shipping cost? Thanks!
It does not but I will likely use ground advantage or flat rate priority mail boxes. Shipping should be in the $15 to $20 range for a box of cards.
To purchase directly from your via Paypal, I have to have a resellers certificate in place beforehand?
Yes, or if you live in a state with no sales tax I can accept PayPal. I just don’t want to be responsible for collecting and remitting sales tax.
Great idea. I would like to buy that first box of rppc with the locomotives, I am in Western Australia how much do you think that will cost in total.
Email me and I’ll be happy to get a quote together! Never shipped something that size to Australia so not sure honestly.
@@mailseum Probably cost 100's of dollars. I shipped something to Canada, only a few paperback books and it was nearly $50

Very interested in the RPPCs. Am I too late?
Yeah those have been claimed, sorry! I do have other boxes available if you are interested.
I live in Clarksville Tennessee. I would like to look at some of your cards you have for sale and make an offer.
I live in Georgia now but feel free to email me to set something up!
I don't think my email is getting thru. If we agree on a price I will but it on ebay.
Don't know how to PM but I would like a box of cards not continental.
Hi Barbara, if you can email me I will set aside a box for you!
Ok I sent you an email @@mailseum
Lovely stuff ... email sending as I write this.
How much for the whole lot? Serious inquiry.

Are you going to still sell some in your own store?
Yeah, but doing this will allow me to list more infrequently and not worry about buying too many postcards!
Love your videos! I’m interested in buying! How?
Just shoot me an email! You can do that on Mailseum.com or directly at dmay at hey.com
Wish you’d do WhatNot!
I'll be sending you an email some time today.
But are they already cherry picked out?

@@mailseum isn't that always the problem? 😂
I sent you an email today. I want to buy one of your better postcard boxes, and a continental box. I sent my resell certificate with the email.
I just sent you an email with an offer for 2 boxes
What is your email?
I’ll type it cryptographically to try to keep the bots away…it is dmay at hey.com
@@mailseum are you going to stop listing cards too? will send an email thanks.
