Twilight was extremely popular with the Books and the films. But given it was a book with vampires and was a romance and all of it being geared towards mostly teen female readers, it rubbed many horror fans, overprotective adults, and guys the wrong way. It also became hyper-popular to the point it some people hated it for it just being everywhere, like they most recently did with the Frozen Disney film, they got what I call popularity fatigue. My point is that don't believe the memes or people claiming all the hate for the series, its not actually hated by the target audience for the series for the most part, it was a loved series when new material was coming out for it be it the books or films. Its just a lot of people who were not the target audience that throw the hate for the series around for the most part, at least that has been my observation.
haha, i'm 14 and i am OBSESSED with twilight. i'm a little late to the game by about 6 years lol but i recently watched all the moves and i'm about to read the series. i CANT WAIT!!!!
Sarah Barnett I'm also 14 and just watched the whole series (twice in 7 days haha) and I'm in the middle of the first book. I'm in love with it. It's a great read!! 💓
Cameron Stewart I love movie twilight as well and I am thinking about reading the books but I’m not sure if I should. Are the books better than the movies?
I am 15 and I have been in contact with Twilight since the first movie in 2009.It was good back then, but now I see it's creepiness.Still haven't read the book, yet
due to Covid, i read this whole book in a little over 24 hours, and i’m not mad about it. i really enjoyed this review and definitely agree with you on points you made!
I've seen a few people in their 20s and they love the twilight series soooooo much but to other people they say they like it but not so much because they're afraid of what people will think. All I want to say is if you love something, don't be afraid or ashamed to tell it out. Everyone has a different taste in books and it all comes down to how much the book means to you and age is not an issue for liking a book. Let others love what they love instead of teaching them what to love ✌
@@totallyanonymousbish9599 I really liked seeing Edward save Bella when she's being followed and their conversation after in the restaurant, and I also weirdly enjoyed the whole ordeal of the Cullens having to save her in the ballet studio - I had a really clear picture of that scene in my head. What about you?!
Katelyn Overby Oh I liked those scenes too! My favorite scene was probably the morning he stayed with her for the first "aware" time. When he said breakfast and Bella held her hands to her throat in order to make a dark joke. Loved that. But I also liked the whole car conversations. So sad they didn't make it in the movies.
There are four main books: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn Then there are a few "extras:" The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, Life and Death (which is the "gender-bent" Twilight), and then Midnight Sun (which is Twilight from Edward's perspective). Hope this helps!
I have issues pronouncing names and other stuff too. I actually, most notably for the Harry Potter books, pronounced, Sirius Black, as sounding like sai-rus. I'm terrible at pronunciation, I'm even wrong with seeming normal words, lol.
I have read all the book one time. I still have all of my books in a tub in a storage closet. I am considering reading twilight again. But, I am not sure. I watched the movies when I was in high school that’s when I read the books too. I used to be so obsessed with twilight.
I have friends who read the books and loved them when they were in high school too (and they were also obsessed haha). When they go back to read and watch the stories now, they still remember how obsessed they were and can still enjoy them, even if they seem a bit too young to them now. I'd say go for it and have a viewing party!!
People say this book sucks I read it just recently. And I enjoyed it. It’s written for teens and with that in mind I found it great. I actually got upset that the movies were so different
Cali morgan I’m a 14yr old and I’m away to read the book I LOVE movies but I’m getting different vibes some ppl are saying it’s boring and bad and some ppl are saying it’s good
No offense to Twilight fans but may I say that the Twilight Saga is one of if the worst book series of all time. The characters are shallow and uninteresting and how is there is absolutely no emotion nor character development IN A ROMANCE NOVEL. Also VAMPIRES DO NOT FUCKING SPARKLE! However I do respect your opinion on the novel and do not judge you for it.
I have read the first book 8 times I have read all the others 7 times and I love this series so much!
wow that's amazing!

Saints_Ghost (cough, cough) teenage porn for females (coughs away)
Saints_Ghost I don’t have the energy to hate it, but there’s no level of the book I unironically liked in the first two acts.

Yes!! It's such a good binge read! I'm so glad you enjoyed it, and thank you so much for watching!
i'd chalk a lot of this up to character flaws but you being so excited about it is absolutely adorable and im so glad you liked it
I see the Selection and my all time favorite series Shatter Me behind you xD Loving your channel, keep up the good work!!
Thank you so much!
Great review. I feel like Bella had a bit more personality in the book. It was so fun to read.
Thank you so much! And exactly hahaha I think it's a Ginny Weasley situation where she just gets to show more character in the book than onscreen.

If there is one thing I have 100% in common with Bella, its her klutziness. Its embarrassing, but thats just my lot.

Do you have a favorite line or part in the book?

Is it a good book? Lol no. Good writing? Nopeee. But the story is honestly beautiful and I will fight that until my death lolol
XOLorena Do you mean the idea of the story or the story told in the book?

The story is creepy!
XOLorena is it worth reading it?

Love your video! Hope that you'll read the other books from the series and make videos about them, too.
