    If only I made a comment on the last time I watched this. Maybe a year ago. I wanted to see my thoughts as my recommended feed fed this to me again. I don’t think I could ever explain to you how your pointing out of the definition of faith has changed so much and has often been at the forethought of my philosophical thought.

      Thank you for commenting. I am happy to hear my words have had a positive effect. The historical warping and abuse of the concept of faith has had a significant effect on society, and it is an important issue to think about.

    do you know if medieval alchemy had any impact on medieval philosophy? Thank you so much for this video, very helpful.

      To an extent, it did, because alchemy was thinking about the basic structure of reality, so alchemy referenced philosophy and vice versa. Even scientist Isaac Newton was into alchemy because he was looking into the questions of what matter is, and that's very philosophical. Alchemy tended toward the idea of the four elements: earth, air, fire, and water, which influenced philosophy. The Islamic philosophers were usually also alchemists of one sort or another.
