Hej, Krywaniu, Krywaniu - Polish highlander folk song - Kat Poreba (with lyrics)

Dzień dobry! Today, I’d like to share a beautiful Polish folk song from the Tatra mountains region with you.
Krywań/Kriváň is a magnificent and significant mountain, especially meaningful to our Slovak brothers and sisters. The original lyrics of this song were written by Kazimierz Przerwa-Tetmajer as a poem, and it has since been interpreted by generations of folk musicians using local dialects. In my rendition, I use the "white voice" technique, whick is typical for folk singers from mountain regions.
Many of my ancestors lived in the mountains, and as my father says, "you cannot silence your highlander gene." This music touches my heart deeply, especially since I no longer live in the mountains. The longing is always there.
For this rendition, I made a slight change to the lyrics, replacing "stracone" (lost) with "zdradzone" (betrayed) to add a personal touch and deeper meaning.
Along with my singing, you’ll hear the sounds of bells, double bass, and jaw harp, creating an ambient backdrop. I aimed to keep the arrangement simple to emphasize the profound meaning of the lyrics.

To nie jest prawdziwa góralska emisja głosu, ozdobniki też z innego stylu śpiewania. Na wysokich dźwiękach za dużo krzyku, za bardzo z gardła, za mało siły. No cóż, nie zachwycił mnie ten Krywań.

To ja tylko przypomnę, że to interpretacja góralskiego utworu, jak Pani zapewne zauważyła, zarówno aranż jak i harmonie wielogłosu również nie są "prawdziwie góralskie". Nie zgodzę się z krzykiem z gardła w górze, ale ta emisja bardzo często wzbudza mnóstwo emocji i niezgody - jestem ok z tym, że się Pani nie podoba. Na jednej konferencji wokalnej znikąd zaczęto się kłócić czy tzw. biały głos istnieje, i że to wszystko jeden (śpiewo)krzyk. Z tym też się nie zgadzam, ale w wokologii ciągle się o coś kłócą i dyskutują co jest "prawdziwe". Temat już studiuję od wielu lat i różne odcienie ma taki rodzaj śpiewania. Ja śpiewam z radości i dla przyjemności - polecam i pozdrawiam!
