I know just about every inch of this route. I definitely stay off the busy Thames Path at Hammersmith Bridge, the quiet roads parallel are a much better cycling option. Great video, thank you for posting.
I really enjoy your detailed commentry during your offbeat routes from A2B in London. I so wish I lived in the London area so that I could ride the routes. I live in Hampshire so not too far away but too far for a bike. Keep up the good work mate.
Thoroughly enjoyed this , amazing commentary and very useful as I’ll be relocating back to London and this is my route from home to work. Not too sure about FULHAM FC -COYG 🙂🙂🙂. Seriously , thank you and keep up the good work !
@Far-Right Watch I have thought about that but I’m worried about the crossing the A3 into mortsper park. I go via Richmond park, lower Richmond road, and terrifying Chelsea embankment.
The lack of cycling support in hammersmith is really bad, the council have kind of tried a bit around kensington high street and Hammersmith station but it's still not pleasant. A big shame given the river, the canal, and the cherry blossoms all about
interesting, I didn't see any signs on the Thames Path itself or I'd have followed them. it all seems very Lockdown 1 when they weren't letting people sit on benches etc
King Street is a mess, that patchy temporary barrier is a menace as they have not marked direction of travel. Once the contra flow permanent cycle path ends where you crossed the street, many cyclists still continue down this new temporary lane anyway and will come up against cycles that have joined in the other direction or worse get shot into opposing traffic at the Hammersmith roundabout, sheer stupidity! If I am joining King Street from the east I avoid that temporary lane completely! This also occurs at the end of the proper lane in Chiswick where bikes fail to cross back over although this is mitigated with a wider lane for bit there. Is being better than Kensington and Chelsea good enough Hammersmith and Fulham? must try harder!
Interesting going back through these to see that now the cycle lane now continues all the way to Hammersmith...
A really useful extension

Good advice, I think I’ll use those next time!

Thank you for watching! Take a day trip one day!
Come into London by train with your bike and ride around, it's such a great way to explore the city.
Absolutely brilliant - very useful to show people who want to travel from Acton Central to Chiswick, for a start! Much appreciated.
Thanks for taking the time to watch!
Yay. You finally made it to West London. Welcome :-)
It was very nice!

Oh wonderful, glad it was handy!! Thanks for watching and for the nice comment
Keep them coming, my god =)
Great videos, subscribed! Similar theme to mine which are based in a part of Sydney
Oh great I’ll check them out!
Would love a Kingston to Westminster!
I may be able to help, I am just working on a Richmond Park route first and if that goes fine that should be an easy addition!
@Far-Right Watch I have thought about that but I’m worried about the crossing the A3 into mortsper park. I go via Richmond park, lower Richmond road, and terrifying Chelsea embankment.
The thames path on hammersmith also prevents cycling 10-3 to give pedestrians the path. It's disappointing

volume drops a bit between 1:53 and 2:36?
I think it does yeah sorry, not sure there's a way to fix it without deleting and reuploading
@@Londoncycleroutes just an fyi, thanks for everything you've done
Calling Fulham a Premier league team might not age this video well😅
I was going to say that!

Yes agree it’s a terrible design!
50 minutes on public transport!? Surely not.
I reckon city mapper overestimated which is why I said 40-50 minutes, but it requires a lot of changes apparently
