-You should definitely react to the latest Ahsoka trailer. You'll catch many details having just finished rebels. - Remember what Bendu said to Thrawn, "I see your defeat....like many arms surrounding you in a cold embrace". Filoni really planned the whole story out.
Space Whales swan in like, “Who’s a filler ep now, fool?” :D IMHO the final arc of Rebels is the perfect illustration of the perpetually misunderstood Jedi teaching of no attachments/learn to let go. It’s the final lesson Kansan teaches Ezra, the one he needs to defeat the Emperor in their encounter. Thanks for a great reaction series! Looking forward to seeing you do more content.
In "Jedi Night" after Kanan's death, Hera says "Why didn't I tell him sooner?" Well she had already told him she loved him so I guess she had something else to tell him about.
"It was a simple story about a boy who was lost and a girl who was broken. They fought alongside a survivor, a war veteran, and a fallen knight. I led them into battle against an evil so terrible it tried to black out the stars. We fought for each other, we fought for those who could not, but we never imagined it would end like this." -- Hera Syndulla (Star Wars Rebels S4 Trailer) This series is phenomenal, and the final episode is no exception. So much story to wrap up in less than an hour and this delivered. But before I start talking about this episode I need to rewind a season. "I see your defeat, like many arms around you in a cold embrace." -- Bendu to Thrawn (Zero Hour, Part 2) And that's just how it happened. We also get another appearance of Emperor Palpatine himself, played once again by the exrtaordinary Ian McDiarmid, and the Dark Lord of the Sith once again utterly fails to comprehend the concept of selflessness. Zeb and Kallus got a perfect end to their story arcs. Kallus especially has the best story of redemption in the franchise so far. I only wish we got to see more of him in S4 after he fully switched sides. Hera and Kanan apparently found some time for privacy, and it's nice to know Thrawn was wrong about the Kalikori's legacy ending with Hera. While Chopper didn't get a spot in the epilogue, we can easily assume he stayed with Hera and is going to be a horrible influence on Jacen. Lastly, we have Ezra, Sabine, Thrawn, and Ahsoka. Ezra and Thrawn have been taken to the unknown regions, what exactly they got up to we don't know. It's possible they're with Thrawn's people, and also possible they've just been adrift for 10 years. Sabine and Ahsoka will be going to find them in just over a month from today, and I cannot be more excited to see my favorite character come to live action. Some smaller things to note, the Royal Guard's weapons appear to be Dave Filoni's interpretation on a Force Pike, a weapon they're known to carry, and they don't look near as good without the red robes. Also, this episode features a voice cameo from the popular Legends character Captain Gilad Pellaeon, well known for his role as Thrawn's second in command during the Legends Thrawn Trilogy. It's been an incredible journey going through Rebels with you. Your videos are amazing and you're one of the very few people I will drop what I'm doing to watch your videos (whenever possible, that is). I look forward to whatever series you decide to watch next, and especially to Ahsoka next month. May the Force be with you.
Chopper being a horrible influence on Jacen is something I really want to see, lol, I can picture him teaching Jacen some "nice" new words, lol. But I'm quite certain he was a great help to Hera, caring for the baby while mom was being a badass pilot in the Alliance
Ezra and Sabine spending so much time together the past year has created their own special bond, to trust their instincts in regards to what the other is doing.
2:25 Hera touches her belly while Ezra is talking to his parents about his new family... and, if you remember the Twin Suns episode, many pointed out Kanan was not in his room when Ezra went for the holocron...

Aside from the original trilogy, Rebels is definitely my favorite Star Wars media. Loved watching your reactions to it, and I think we're all excited for Ahsoka now!
I absolutely love this series. I hope that Asoka lives up to it, but the story beats here are really good and individually unique from any other series.
Yeah it’s a fantastic woke series. Conservatives are dumb lol 😂 😝 Star Wars always was woke and progressive lol. George Lucas based the rebel alliance on the Vietcong communist party. You cannot really be a conservative and a true Star Wars fans since it’s very progressive Franchise and diverse franchise, and its teachings literally contradict the conservatives worldview with the empire being the bad guys and the “terrorist” a word conservatives call antifa or any progressives who are not bad people who fight against anti democracy and basic rights from conservatives. Basically people who believe in the anti FACIST ideology which anti facism is a GOOD THING cuz FACISM BAD. Are as close to a real life rebel alliance.
Just a brilliant conclusion to this amazing show.. seriously one of the best endings to any show I've seen, on par with TCW... 8:35 this scene between Ezra and Sabine... no dialogue needed to understand the emotion and stakes... 20:40 this shot... the visuals... the symbolism... the sacrifice... just perfection
I'm a day late and have been waiting for a chance to sit down and watch this. I think this show is more in line with the magic of the original trilogy than anything that has come after it. I was in elementary school when the Clone Wars came out and watched the original run live every Friday evening. When rebels first came out I refused to watch it out of spite in relation to the CW cancelation. I think everyone can agree that was a stupid decision. Kanan and Ezra's path in a post order galaxy is immensely satisfying. Their relationship with the force compared to our prequel jedi is so different but somehow more grounded in the universe. It's been an absolute delight to watch along both series with you. Your love for Star Wars is so very obvious. Thank you for sharing it with us. I'm excited to tag along for the continuation of this series in the near futute.
Great reaction!! Rebels is personally my favorite Star Wars show, and I'm glad you've enjoyed it so much! It's quite peak. Also, Palpatine needed Ezra because he himself couldn't access the WBW- only Ezra can. Hence, he was trying to bait Ezra to unlock the gateway inorder to be reunited with his parents. But Ezra, having gone through an amazing hero's journey, foiled his plans. And yeah, we've been waiting for 5 years (half a decade) for this major cliffhanger ending to be resolved, lol. That said, can't wait to see the Ahsoka series & the reactions! It takes place about 10 years after the liberation of Lothal, right alongside Mando S3.
This was, inarguably, the best reaction I've seen to Rebels finale, and I've seen a great many of them, lol. It has been such an entertaining ride, coming from TCW directly to Rebels (thank the Force you decided in its favor). Looking forward to unraveling Ahsoka's secrets in August with you!
That piece of the Temple was all that remained, thus the last chance for Palpatine to access the World Between Worlds. Ezra's parents was just an illusion to trick him, just like when Ezra saw Kanan again. Both would have allowed Palpatine to latch along.
Part of what made Ezra's showdown with Palpatine so awesome was that Ian McDiarmid returned to voice the Emperor. There are many talented actors who can emulate his voice, but really, if you can get the original Galactic Emperor, then you sort of need to DEW IT! I believe that Sam Witwer may have voiced him in his brief appearance in part two of the season two premiere, but I'm pretty sure Ian McDiarmid voiced him in all of his Season Four appearances. Thank you for sharing your reactions! Hoping you'll share your reactions to the trailer(s) for Ahsoka, and I can't wait for your reactions to the show itself! ^_^
I’m so glad you enjoyed this journey. Thank you for sharing it with us. This was such a blast. It was like getting to rewatch the show for the first time again!
So, we finished this beautiful show and it was hilarious journey with You. As many of us wrote here, Your reactions were amazing and I really appreciate them. I was looking forward to each of them and for me, Your reactions of Rebels are best of all reactions I've seen so far. I love everything about this show, the characters, the story, connection with other star wars stories and series, music etc. and I can feel, that Dave Filoni and his team gave their heart and love for star wars in this show. And I love the OT vibes in this show. Maybe people like You and me, who are connected more with the OT because we were growing up with it long before other movies and series came, love Rebels also because it is so much connected with the OT, like music, original voice actors, timing, etc. I also love, that Rebels doesn't have really filler episodes. Every episode has something or someone, which was used later or influenced the story. Character's development was great, new conceptions of the Force were beautiful, Ezra's connection with creatures and the Force is amazing, attachment between Rebels characters is touching, music is hilarious ... There is so much I would like to write here about my feelings for this show, but then this comment would be too long. So I can only say again, I love Rebels and I love Your videos. Thank You very much and may the Force be with You. I cannot wait for Your next reactions of the other series, especially Ahsoka.
Great comment, Rebels has a lot of heart! I'm also glad he loved it as much as we did, after pestering him to do Rebels first, lol. His knowledge of the OT makes his reactions even more enjoyable. I was wondering whether someone from The Bad Batch could appear in Ahsoka. I know he still has Mando 3 and Andor to watch, but maybe getting started on The Bad Batch is not such a bad idea...
24:15 - many reactors have wondered when Kanan and Hera had time... It's subtle, but think back to S3E20 "Twin Suns": do you remember when Ezra was awoken by the Jedi holocron playing the Obi-Wan message? The holocron was in Kanan's room in the middle of the night, but Kanan wasn't. He appears at the door later. Now does it make sense?
Now we need your Ahsoka trailer reaction Preferably number #2 trailer that just came out a Week or two ago... But you could do both... But yeah Rex was wearing his Endor Rebel armor in that one episode... And Dave Filoni confirm that was Rex In return of the Jedi during that one scene he is seen for like one / or 2 seconds... When they try to get back into that Building where the shield generator is ... But yeah you need to watch the bad batch now...
Rebels finale was a very satisfying one, but left us waiting for that "Search for Ezra" show since 2018. There were rumors another animated show was coming soon and we were sure it could only be that, but it ended up being Resistance, the only animated SW show I never revisited.
It's a little hard to believe that we are actually finished with the mainstream animated content. Even though I've only been here since about season 4 or so of clone wars, its still been such a journey. But anyway, can't wait for the bad batch and the other stuff you got planned ❤❤❤
When I first saw this finale, I was coming off the elation of playing Fallen Order for the first time and getting emersed in that story, so I immediately thought that Ezra and the Purgil were taking Thrawn into the unknown regions on a similar trajectory to where the Zeffo went, and they ended up on a planet where Cal and Company ended up in a search for traces of the Zeffo people, and that the Ahsoka series was going to have them find Ezra on a planet in the unknown regions surrounded by helmets of Stormtroopers he took from, which would have included a scout trooper, a pilot, a deathtrooper, and one of the praetorian guards. I don't think we're going to see any of that in the ahsoka series at all, but I'm hoping if Ezra makes an appearance outside of his hologram, that he has some kind of helmet collection somewhere.
ah yes ashoka the white. As the bednu said thrawns defeat would be "like many arms surrounding you in a cold embrace" I really like that ezra is pretty much trusting sabine with his life. I kind got parallels from that one clone wars ep where Anakin gives Padme his lightsaber while repeating obi-wans line form ATOC that "this weapon is your life" pretty much meaning he is putting his life in her hands. Rex was at the battle of endor dave saw the scene where Han get a scout trooper to chase him in ROTJ and thought one of characters Nix sant could be Rex. I think it was for a while even after the release of this episode most people thought it was more of a head canon until Galaxy of Adventure had a bit about han going from smuggler to rebel general which showed that scene which made it much more clear that might be rex. he did also later on say that the person who he thought might have been rex wasn't. he did also state that just because they are separate people doesn't mean that rex wasn't on endor pretty much stating that rex and Nix were both on endor.
Its great. It's my favorite SW show. It's better then TCW, & I love TCW. That was Kanans son FYI, that's why Hera said, & you all know what his father was like. One other thing I'd like to point out, Kanan was the best of what a Jedi can be, & he had a romantic relationship, an adopted family he cared for deeply, attachments, etc. Its an absolute flaw in the Jedi code. Kanan & Ezra may be my 2 favorite Jedi.
Chopper and Hera is in rouge one - so if their ship. Hera is called over the PA system and you can see chopper in the background in the rebel base in one scene - and the ship is at skariff when they all jump in As for the deathcount just the base blowing up i think goes for less "kills" then when chopper did make the interdictor cruisers colide and take out 3 prretty big ships. And we donmt know how many star destoryers the perguil did destroy here atleast 3 but he had ships in orbit he was sure would be able to take out a incomming fleet so i think some more ISD aswell up in orbit - so total life lost here is most likley biggest if not counting death stars destructions
Aha you missed my in a sense very blank hint. I was referring to what bendu said to thrawn and his end. If you rewatch it he says "I see your defeat, like many arms surrounding you in a cold embrace." That's just what happened to thrawn.
This leads into the Mandalorian (starting five years after RTOJ) and then the Ahsoka series, which you can watch the trailer for and see for yourself what's going on.
It's like a circular poem the whole Rebels adventures, here is a 10 second short edit which shows this in a very beautiful and poetic way... ua-cam.com/video/eIrIKDx_1BE/v-deo.html
24:13 Oh, a nice "curd in the window" on Ezra's seat in the cockpit of the Ghost. 🤫🙃 Too bad the eye color isn't quite right for Jacen in live action. The contact lenses for Hera take me out of the new Disney+ show a bit. Maybe better for the younger actor. Really enjoy those three together in the Ghost (+Chopper). I'm excited what the future holds in store for them. I really liked your reactions.
Jacen was conceived during the end of Season 3, as Kanan was shown no longer sleeping in his own room. When Ezra was looking at his family picture one more time, Hera was caressing her stomach for a moment. And of course, Kanan felt the presence of another when he saved Hera that final time.
@@willfanofmanyii3751 No, she called him love many times going all the way back to season 1. They repeatedly argued over the years about where their relationship was going. This was all a reveal that she didnt tell Kanan in time that she was pregnant.
@@YTAG33 Kanan and Hera never argued about their relationship, they argued once, and it was about whether to join the growing conflict. Literally the whole point of the episode was Hera properly expressing how serious her feelings for Kanan is, and feeling guilty after as they never got to enjoy life as a proper couple in public.
@@willfanofmanyii3751 Even in one of the last episodes he is asking her what they are going to do when they are done participating in the rebellion. A question like that doesn't come out of nowhere and it connects back to things said years ago in the show. She says we already talked about that and he still isn't happy with the answer. This is just part of a 4 year long argument about if they were going to settle down as a couple or join/stay in the rebellion. She feels guilty Kanan died because she choose warfare and Kanan didnt and was only ever following her lead.
They need each other, and the Clone Wars finally is unbeatable. But overall Rebels has more consistent quality and an amazing overall story. And the highlights are nearly as good as the Clone Wars finally so yeah, Rebels may possibly be the best overall.
I believe Kanan's last lesson was to let go. Because he learned saving Kanan in the World Between Worlds would have dire consequences, Ezra was forced to watch him die again and finally let him go. I feel this is pivotal in the scene with the Emperor. Ezra is able to resist the most tempting offer, to be with his parents again, and instead make the hard choice to say goodbye...saving his other family (and preventing the Emperor from controlling time and space). I, like many fans, ship Zeb and Kallus. It's an interesting perspective in a rewatch.
Great to hear that liked rebels. I Love clone wars ,but i had to try to watch rebels for few times and i couldin't get into it. I hated the animation and all of the characters even tho i liked rex in clone wars i couldint stand him in rebels, same thing with hando. Ahsoka was way more boring and looking pretty bad in rebels as well, only her fight with vader was ok. Anyway since you enjoyed rebels I think that you will like Ahsoka series, it is going to be like season 5 of rebels. Maybe reaction to the ahsoka trailer then?

Yup... learning to let go had been taken too far by the modern Jedi Order, to the extent that you can't even get close to someone you love.

It’s good to see Rex and the other Clones fight a battle they fully believe in!
Just like Kanan, Ezra's own meditation gave him the insight on some things to come. Not a clear picture, but dots for him to connect.

I don't think we're going to see any of that in the ahsoka series at all, but I'm hoping if Ezra makes an appearance outside of his hologram, that he has some kind of helmet collection somewhere.
Ahsoka's series picks up right where this left off!
the end of such a fantastic show, very underrated.
Well, the trailers for "Asoka" looks like a sequel to Rebels and that's a good thing
I knew you'd love this ending. You reacting to the Ahsoka trailer? Also, what's next on the Star Wars list?
Likely Mando s3 because of upcoming ahsoka
@TopnessReactions Rgr. Don't sleep on The Bad Batch though.
Thanks for your reactions!!
ah yes ashoka the white.
Ahsoka trailer reaction 😃
Ezra's out there somewhere and its time to bring him home.
Really can't wait for the Ahsoka show in August.
The Purgils travel between the unknown regions. Incredibly difficult to navigate.
The kanan and Ezra parallel broke me
Keep up the reactions, Topness! Looking forward to what's still in store for you.
So, to answer your question... when a man loves a Twi'lek, very much....
🤣🤣🤣
They can fly!
I can't believe it. I watched The entire Clone wars and Rebels series. For my first time.
Just in time to fully enjoy Ahsoka!
@@msoundg If he reacts to it. I don't have Disney +.
If the new republic was as strong as the empire, thrawn probably would have joined the republic. Or what i think it could have happened.
Chopper and Hera is in rouge one - so if their ship. Hera is called over the PA system and you can see chopper in the background in the rebel base in one scene - and the ship is at skariff when they all jump in
As for the deathcount just the base blowing up i think goes for less "kills" then when chopper did make the interdictor cruisers colide and take out 3 prretty big ships.
If you rewatch it he says "I see your defeat, like many arms surrounding you in a cold embrace."
That's just what happened to thrawn.
This leads into the Mandalorian (starting five years after RTOJ) and then the Ahsoka series, which you can watch the trailer for and see for yourself what's going on.
So excited to see this!!
Too bad the eye color isn't quite right for Jacen in live action. The contact lenses for Hera take me out of the new Disney+ show a bit. Maybe better for the younger actor.
Really enjoy those three together in the Ghost (+Chopper).
I'm excited what the future holds in store for them.
I really liked your reactions.
Good establishement, hope you manage to fit in some bad batch alongside this as well before Ashoka 😉
The. Emperor is trying to tempt Ezra like he did Anakin. With no results.
Thrawn: I'll be back
Arhinda Pryce’s family owned a doonium mine on lothal before she was in politics.
The Finale! :D
Jacen was conceived during the end of Season 3, as Kanan was shown no longer sleeping in his own room.
When Ezra was looking at his family picture one more time, Hera was caressing her stomach for a moment. And of course, Kanan felt the presence of another when he saved Hera that final time.
When Kanan died, Hera said "I should not have waited so long to tell him"
@@YTAG33 She was referring to her love confession.
It's probably an unpopular opinion in the fandom but Rebels > Clone Wars.
They need each other, and the Clone Wars finally is unbeatable. But overall Rebels has more consistent quality and an amazing overall story. And the highlights are nearly as good as the Clone Wars finally so yeah, Rebels may possibly be the best overall.
The. Bad. Batch!
Nice finished this just in time for Ahsoka :)
Yes and now can’t wait for it!
Do you plan on watching the bad batch?
Ezra is not as weak willed as Anakin.
