For those who watched the series around when it came out, at the time there hadn't been the final season of Clone Wars, and no Mandalorian, so we really had no idea what had happened to her. There had been some speculation that the symbol shown for Fulcrum was patterned after her markings.

Everyone thought Rebels S1 E4 Fighter Flight was a filler episode, but the stolen TIE fighter from Fighter Flight is crucial for the season finale Fire Across the Galaxy. After watching the complete Rebels series and re-watching the earlier seasons, I came to realize that there were no filler episodes. The reason Force users don't constantly throw each other around is because they are also using the Force to defend themselves. You need to break their guard or catch them unprepared in order to successfully effect them. That's why we only ever see them get thrown, lifted, or choked after they've been worn down, surprised, or completely overpowered (like when Ventress choked Anakin and Obi-wan in a moment of pure rage and desperation after being abandoned by Dukoo). Even Vader more often resorts to throwing objects rather than trying to directly effect his opponent, as we seen in the fight against Luke in Cloud City.
As for when this takes place, I'm sure you've already realized by the time you see this, but Ezra and Luke are actually the same age. Luke was 19 at the time of A New Hope so that should help you nail down the chronology.

22:15 It’s not stated in movies or shows directly, but force users have a passive Force Wall which usually can tank or null telekinetic Force powers like Push or Pull. But it’s strength depends on how strong the user is. And if can’t consistently break through an opponent’s Force Wall, it always devolves into a physical contest hence why most draw their Lightsabers.

To me this show is all about the season/series finales. Some of the episodes that seem a little like side quests are tied in with those; not to say there aren't great one-offs. They're not stingy with cameos.
When you get to the series finale, everything (more or less) makes sense. This finale introduces us to his charisma with the radio broadcast and expect that to continue to be a thing. The role of the jedi and the nature of jedi power are a big part of the show.

There are 4 "Rebels" shorts that occur in 5 BBY which precede the series. Sabine was taunting the guards patrolling the TIE depot about their improvement because she had previously vandalized and sabotaged that same yard in one of the shorts.

I don't recall Leia's exact age in the Kenobi series, or if they even mention it, but my guess is she's between 6-8 years old, which places Rebels, 7-9 years after the events of Kenobi, since we know from the Empire Day celebration episode, that Ezra is 15 at this point. Its not so simple for Ezra to just attack the inquisitor with the force mid combat. When Jedi and Sith fight, they use the force to shield themselves which makes it extremely difficult to be attacked from their opponent through the force. Given that Ezra is still extremely early on in his training, it would be nearly impossible for him without some sort of distraction for his opponent. This is actually how Palps got the upper hand in Revenge of the Sith, when he ignited his lightsaber and jumped toward the Jedi, he let out a force scream which took them by surprise and sort of shattered their concentration to protect themselves with the force. That is what let him quickly dispatch 2 of the 4 Jedi almost immediately.

It's been said but Kenobi takes place 10 yrs after Ep 3 (9 BBY). Rebels starts 4 yrs later (5 BBY). Literally episode 8 of this 1st season titled 'Empire Day' marks the 15th anniversary of the Empire being formed (4 BBY).

Well the standard Imperial star destroyers were approximately 70 000 meters in length; and Vader's Super destroyer from Empire Strikes Back was approximately 700 000 meters in length. still though there are Sci-Fi genres that go way beyond that. Like mass effect and Halo that have objects that are planet sized; and the Halo itself is just HUGELY colossal.

Destroying the tower likely temporarily cut-off long-range communications between Lothal and the rest of the galaxy. It would effectively cut off the Imperial garrison from reinforcements and limit their comms to courier ships through hyperspace until they got a replacement setup.
Edit: nevermind that's exactly what it did.

I know this is recorded ahead of time but just to be clear, at least, in the past to technically be a Jedi, all you had to do was before a long enough for your training that you could build a light saber. Of course, the prequel trilogy’s you had to go through certain trials.

As far as using the force to push the inquisitor off the catwalk, any force user worth a damn knows when fighting another one to put a little of your concentration into preventing that.

  • @quoniam426
    @quoniam426 Рік тому

The Inquisitor didn't want to face Palpatine or Vader with a defeat to report... He prefers death to what they could do to him.
That final scene with Vader stepping down the shuttle an Kallus looking like "Oh oh, this is happening, we're doomed".
From now on, most of the series is a banger.
Kenobi show happened a few years prior to Rebels.
Fulcrum's voice changed, have you noticed? It is not always the same person, it's just a codename to give informations and orders to the different Rebel cells.
Lacking in experience, Kanan has to open to the Force more for guidance, following the true path of the Jedi, learning and submitting to the Force instead of trying to bind it to its will.
In that sense, Kanan is closer to Qui Gon Jinn despite having an Obi Wan-esque background.

When it comes to the timeline of between episode 3 and 4 there is a 19 year gap. Big events happen in 5 year spaces. Jedi Fallen order takes place 5 years after, then in 9 BBY Kenobi takes place, and in the same year Jedi Survivor happens, 9 BBY was just a bad year for Vader. 5 BBY is when Andor takes place and also when season 1 of Rebels starts. As an episode celebrates Empire Day, we can say it is 4BBY from then on.

Pushing the Inquisitor off the edge would be a premeditated act of Murder. And THAT is The Dark Side. When dealing with what one can and cannot DO with the Force, intentions are EVERYTHING. Yes, the Inquisitor will not hesitate to kill them both, but He's a Dark Side Force wielder; that's what THEY do. Yes, they are fighting for their lives, but THAT doesn't exempt them from showing mercy. Ezra pushing him off would just be murder; there's nothing more to it than that. As a Jedi, never kill your enemy (even though they are an enemy) when you can attempt to subdue them.

the biggest difference is that kanan is just a padaqwan (he was like 12 when order 66 happened) while the grand inquisitor was a fully trained Jedi temple guard - so their knowledge and command of the force aswell as their combat training is far apart. Hence no pushing from Kanan/Ezra and pushing from the Inquisitor

In Comics Darth Vader punished Grand inquisitor by capturing his spirit in one of the old Jedi temple's as guard. And Luke Skywalker fought Grand Inquisitor's spirit, when Luke was exploring. Grand Inquisitor's last words in comic's were same as in Rebels.

And at this point Vader's presence is still relatively unknown because Palpatine has had him hunting the remnants of the Jedi. He hasn't yet become 100% active in routing out the rebellion because The Jedi are still in hiding and THEY are infinitely more dangerous that a simple galactic rebellion. lol at least to Palpatine. If he needed to he's sacrifice an entire solar system just to get ONE Jedi. The Billions upon Billions of credits mean NOTHING against the chaos a Jedi can cause his Empire.

Did you guys watched Tim Miller's adaptation of The Dark Knight Returns about Batman? It's in two parts. If not then add it in to your list. Sure, it is animated movie, but it is the best of what DC and WB made. Just watch it and I'm telling you that, you won't be disappointed. Also, Batman in this movie was voiced by Peter Weller, who played Robocop.
