I love how the entire front bumper fell off. The license plate is visible on it as it falls off which means they’ll be able to find the car and possibly the driver. If it’s a stolen vehicle they’ll at least be able to examine it once they find it.

The car that cause the accident was being chased by a separate car before the accident....you can see the car make the exact same turn 0:38 and follow the original car. There might be alot to this story then just an accident.
I thought it might of been someone who wanted to pursue the car for accident purposes as well at first but no one reacts like that, most of us will sit in our cars an go wtf was that....it just seemed to quick of a reflex imo....Also the trailing distance prior to the accident was very small between both cars.

My theory is the horn is not from the car that got hit, but from the silver car that appeared to be chasing the primary hit-and-run car. That primary car blew through the stop sign, cutting off the SUV and hitting the unsuspecting victims who probably never had a chance to hit their horn. The silver car that is following the primary car then stops honking and appears to attempt a U-turn to continue following.

This is fairly common in Los Angeles. Had someone slam into a fire hydrant at 70mph because he didn't hit the bend well enough. A motorcycle driver was killed in a hit and run, don't think they ever found the driver who did it. Have had two separate instances of vehicles turning over after colliding with parked cars. A few pedestrians hit and runs, someone actually honking at a person in a wheelchair who had the right of way to cross, and myself almost being taken out twice by speeding cars at a crosswalk. All on the street I lived on no less.
I lived in LA, someone hit and ran my car (it was parked and I wasn't there). Called the non-emergency line and told what happened, when the cop didn't ask any questions about location/etc. I asked if they would even look into it (garage had cameras so probably could have found perp with some leg work and I told him that) but the cop was honest and said no lol

Weird, you can tell that a horn started before the car ran thru the intersection and hit that blue car. Mist have been from the silver car chasing the vehicle that was driving way too fast and tried to get away before hitting the innocent driver. Does look like the silver car was chasing the suspect or following it.. Glad the news anchor man or the crew were not injured and seems like the car was running for a reason. May have committed a crime already. May have already hit a parked car since a horn went off and like it was laid on for some time. The suspect may have gotten away but vehicle will be found all thanks to the crew filming. The city may need to do some sort of rethinking and add a light to that intersection or some type of better crosswalk. RIP to the father who died from a hit and run there. Prayers for his family! 🙏

Being aggressive isn't necessarily a bad trait to have, but combine them with others, then yeah... that's a bad driver. You could have have a passive driver with all these other traits and the result can still be the same... if not worse cause they are the ones that usually "own" the road and cause stressful amounts of traffic by left lane hogging, not letting go of the brakes on green, absent-mindedly changing lanes with no 3 second/500 ft. warning, unwittingly blocking lanes, the list goes on. The reporter is clairvoyant. The crash happened right on cue. There are other comments about the blue car losing its front bumper (that I assumed had a license plate) and that silver car, that could have been chasing him. The police should have enough leads here, assuming these cars aren't stolen.

My theory is the horn is not from the car that got hit, but from the silver car that appeared to be chasing the primary hit-and-run car. That primary car blew through the stop sign, cutting off the SUV and hitting the unsuspecting victims who probably never had a chance to hit their horn. The silver car that is following the primary car then stops honking and appears to attempt a U-turn to continue following.

This is fairly common in Los Angeles. Had someone slam into a fire hydrant at 70mph because he didn't hit the bend well enough. A motorcycle driver was killed in a hit and run, don't think they ever found the driver who did it. Have had two separate instances of vehicles turning over after colliding with parked cars. A few pedestrians hit and runs, someone actually honking at a person in a wheelchair who had the right of way to cross, and myself almost being taken out twice by speeding cars at a crosswalk. All on the street I lived on no less.

Called the non-emergency line and told what happened, when the cop didn't ask any questions about location/etc. I asked if they would even look into it (garage had cameras so probably could have found perp with some leg work and I told him that) but the cop was honest and said no lol

Weird, you can tell that a horn started before the car ran thru the intersection and hit that blue car. Mist have been from the silver car chasing the vehicle that was driving way too fast and tried to get away before hitting the innocent driver. Does look like the silver car was chasing the suspect or following it.. Glad the news anchor man or the crew were not injured and seems like the car was running for a reason. May have committed a crime already. May have already hit a parked car since a horn went off and like it was laid on for some time. The suspect may have gotten away but vehicle will be found all thanks to the crew filming. The city may need to do some sort of rethinking and add a light to that intersection or some type of better crosswalk. RIP to the father who died from a hit and run there. Prayers for his family! 🙏
I noticed this too. I wonder if the car that entered the intersection knew they were experiencing braking issues.

The silver car was chasing the blue car. It went out into the street just behind the blue car, did a u-turn, camera didn't catch the rest.
That didn't seem like a hit that would kill someone. So the driver that got hit is dead? He was able to pull over after the accident.
Yes the driver was honking his horn before hitting the victim. I wonder why. Maybe he didn't have his brakes bc he never really stopped. And maybe he didn't have insurance.
The Honda was definitely caught he left his front bumper with his plates on it 😂🤣
