I don't know why everyone is hating on this guy, he didn't really bother me at all. the music was a bit loud but it wasn't too terrible, its an easy fix for the next video.
Many thanks for the kind words of support, NeonDragonflies! The little blue whiners have nothing better to do with their time. I'll crank the background track down on the next installment ... :)
I love my 2015 Fit EX-L w/ Nav. Coming from a 2008 Fit Sport AT, this is a WAY more refined car. It feels substantially heavier, in the same way a luxury car feels but its still significantly faster. In about 3 weeks, I've put nearly 1000 miles on it, and I'm very sure that I made a good choice to stay in the Fit family!
Nice review but the music really gets in the way of the review especially around the 2:00 mark when the engine's revving. I'd recommend turning down the music considerably to ensure people can hear you more clearly or better yet, eliminating it all together.
Just bought one about a week ago, but I haven't recieved it yet because the dealership cant keep them long enough so I have to wait until the next shipment
Thanks for the kind words, thatsmoovekat! No qualms here, but seats are highly subjective ... what fits one person well might not fit the next person at all.
Dan, I enjoyed your review. Apparently I'm odd though. I also love the new fit. I have always had a soft spot for small hatchbacks and I love the design if this car. Maybe someday. With a 6 speed of course.
MPGomatic LOL But really I'm not a fan of the quality of the Focus inside and out. You can't argue with the power but I think that's about all that car brings to the table.
HondaPro Jason My biggest qualms with the Fiesta are the back seat and lack of real-time MPG display. Have you driven the 1.0L EcoBoost yet? It's quite good ...
Unless you're really set on a getting a Fit, you can get a Mazda3 for the same kind of money, but with less features. It's probably more livable day to day.
Buyer beware! I have had no mechanical problems with my Fit, but the paint and clear coat on the roof of my 2009 Fit is starting to fade into bald spots. Honda has had similar paint problems with the Civic, Odyssey, CRV, and Pilot which have all been recalled. I'm hoping that they will recall the Fit too. Part of the appeal of a Fit is the low cost of ownership, but now I'm looking at a $1000-2000 paint job if Honda does not issue a recall.
I lost all credibility in this guy's review when he said that he prefers handling of a new version over the previous one. Nobody prefers the car with more body roll and less stability (new is a lot less composed than the previous one due to softening of the suspension to please older buyers).
Love the new fit's color pallets, mpg rating, and tricky down technology. Hate the design, cheap material on the entry trim, key holes on the side of the door not on the door handle, and pricing is too high it rivals the civics already. I don't think its at the top yet, considering that ford's got the most efficient and power options. Toyota's got the most reliable option. Nissan's got the best equipped option. Hyundai and kia's got the best warranty. The fit barely fit in it's class.
I drove the fit 2015 nice interior, solid drive, fast going and with a decent price tag for a loaded exl. Function form and quality are evident. The bad is armrest is way TOO low, you cannot effectively use it, the radio is lacking an actual knob, arm areas are STILL hard plastic. OK, its the first model of the update! WAIT for it- WAIT 2015 in 2015 will CORRECT these obvious ISSUES. Overall a 9!
I'm happy people can't bash the Fit anymore for poor material quality and being slow to accelerate. It was getting pretty annoying. (I own the 2nd gen fit sport, 2009)
I have the same '09 Sport, and didn't notice probs with material quality, except for the gear shift knob deteriorating. I found 1st gear to be pointless and annoyingly short. I'll be going with a CVT next. Their whiny and feel gross, but it's better than shifting all the way up to 5th by the time you hit 50km/h.
Baconator James Same I have no problems with it either. I just have come across people like oh its so cheap all the hard plastics and blah blah and that makes me mad cuz its like people it starts at 15k and you expect soft touch and leather and all that? Come on its a semi-economy car not a mercedes.
Dan, I loved you on MPGomatic. I feel like you need to go back to the scripted reviews. I just feel like you excel in your reviews when you have a script. Ad libbing is not your forte. Speaking of forte. Review the new Kia Forte while you're at it. Scripted of course.
He sounds like a phone tech support or customer service person who can't wait to get off the phone with an annoying customer. Fit is a good car. I am pretty sure Chris will do a much better job reviewing it
Want the EX-L AND a manual? Too bad! Typical Honda, but a dumb decision, nonetheless. Some people want "loaded" AND MT, especially in a smaller-displacement car. The two concepts are NOT mutually-exclusive, and the price difference is very small here.
Yes I agree the Honda Fit is on top of the class.

Just bought this awesome car last dec so far I love it so much! 😃

my EX-L is on the way. Can't Wait. (love my 2007 Fit Sport, time for an upgrade) Fit Is Go!

Nice..i like it. I think this car is pretty dope, i also like how the side mirror camera turns on when switching the lane..
Just bought one about a week ago, but I haven't recieved it yet because the dealership cant keep them long enough so I have to wait until the next shipment
which is a better value buy -- honda fit or nissan versa note?
I was hoping to see what kind of numbers you could pull off with this thing, on a long highway run.
derek owen ... I'd work that into every review if I could. Gotta have the time to spare and the gas $ to burn. It helps to have a destination, too! :)
MPGomatic I completely understand. I like the mpgomatic style reviews and don't think you're a wierdo.
Good review. Are the seats comfortable for long-distance drives?
Thanks for the kind words, thatsmoovekat! No qualms here, but seats are highly subjective ... what fits one person well might not fit the next person at all.
That's true. Just wanted to get your opinion...thanks.
Was expecting mr goldfarb to do this review he is the econo-king
Dan, I enjoyed your review. Apparently I'm odd though. I also love the new fit. I have always had a soft spot for small hatchbacks and I love the design if this car. Maybe someday. With a 6 speed of course.
Thanks, Matthew Hutzell! The Fit's a solid choice. I'd very much like to drive the manual version ...
Dan, no mention on its driving dynamics, are talking Fiesta or Yaris here?
Much better than the Yaris, not up to Fiesta level, pedrof830.
I have driven all three cars and The Honda leaves them both in the dust when it comes to driving dynamics.
Better than the ST, HondaPro Jason? Not that you might be biased. ;) (I own two Hondas ...)
MPGomatic LOL But really I'm not a fan of the quality of the Focus inside and out.

I don't really like Hondas, but the Fit/Jazz I'd buy over the competition...
Anyone know if CVT's put more stress on the engine since it takes the revs all the way to the Redline?
No. Just the opposite. Increased efficiency with the motor.
Great review.
Thanks Dan!
I'm surprised no one has copied the Magic Seats
Why don't every cars seat fold up like the fit?
GREATNESS - Cost. Automakers are always looking for places to shave a dime.
Cause there's a fuel tank under the back seats in most cars. The Fit has it's gas tank under the front seats.

Good job, keep up to good work, nice review.
Thanks, Konurrrrr!
THE FIT IS GO!!!!!

this review feel so unprofessional. the audio sounds terrible and i hate the annoying background music.
Welcome to UA-cam, mluu510!

This dude looks like he wants to quit the review and go get a double cheeseburger.

Lower music and talk louder
Get better speakers?
MPGomatic
no, the music is TERRIBLE and unnecessary
This is supposed to be a mpgomatic car review.
gfrimpong1 I produced it, but it's not pure MPGomatic unless it has my wacky hallmark track ... =)
I mean... you gotta go manual, otherwise whats the point?!
That music is 'groovy'!
VW Golf as one of "similar models"??? That's a class up! A VW Beetle, maybe...
nice little car
I don't want cow hide in my Honda Fit.
those tail lights are hideous
It looks more like a Nissan Versa Note than a Fit.
If I turn my volume louder the. All I hear is music. The reviews were better before this guy was on here. They probably quit.
Get some inspiration from other youtube channels. Like Alex on autos. Or auto guide. Like come on.
Don't need music to do that !!!
Too much video focused on the narrator rather than the subject he is talking about ....not professional
He sounds like a phone tech support or customer service person who can't wait to get off the phone with an annoying customer. Fit is a good car. I am pretty sure Chris will do a much better job reviewing it

Where the hell did they dig this guy up from? What a weirdo. I like this new Fit though, it doesn't look nearly as ugly as it used to.
godfatherNYC Jersey. You got a problem wit dat? =)
don't consider this a proper review.
It's an mpgomatic car review.
What do you consider proper?
Lose the crappie music and conduct a proper review
That was the worst review I have seen to date on this channel
Seriously, chromebala? You have nothing better to do than critique car reviews? Have a great day!
