Drove the 1.5 RS a few days ago and was really impressed, pick up was excellent even with the cvt, well spec'd and great quality inside and out, we now have one ordered, pearl white.
@@EdwardYourHondaManTomilloso I was choosing between the 2015 Honda fit and the ford fiesta because I have a family, as long as they are not sports cars.
I love this review! It was very helpful, your video as well as a couple others I found on UA-cam convinced me to purchase this vehicle. I get it today! In the beautiful Passion Berry Pearl color. Love it!
I am considering a Honda Fit, 2015 to 2016 (will consider 2017 after the new year). I drove one from Zipcar, and I was impressed at the amount of room inside, and the way it drove. It had pretty good pickup for its size, and it was easy to get in and out of. And that impressive cargo space! My brother has a CR-V; that gives me a reason to consider the Fit. I'm looking at a Civic too.
Edward, great review. I am a Honda lover. My wife has the 2013 Accord. I have a 2011 Pilot. Just purchased a 2015 Fit to drive to work everyday. Pilot now becomes the weekend fun car. The Fit is fun, practical, and good looking all in one.
Well done presentation! This is probably one of the best video reviews that I have seen from a dealership in regards to a car. Most of them tend to be boring for some reason. When I am in the market for a new vehicle, I am definitely going to consider the new Honda Fit!
Can you permanently disable the lane-change blind spot camera? In the settings? I find it very distracting. Especially when you consider the Fit has EXCELLENT visibility out the right side of the car.
lol I bet that camera does help lol. Can't afford a brand new one, but looking into a 2010 Sport model. Also a big audio enthusiast and gonna get a sound system and stereo installed, may get one with a screen so I can install an aftermarket backup camera too, though the aftermarket ones aren't typically as good as Factory ones. Great review as always Edward
Heard the previous FIT models are very noisy at high speeds on the highway, thats why I steered away from it back in the past few models, did they fix this issue with the 2015 model?
I have a question, I am currently shopping for this car and I notice on the description of the transmission says, "variable." Is this the same that you are driving in this video! I really like it! However I cannot drive stick! So does Variable mean "automatic?"
Wow.. I'm actually impressed. Looks like a pretty good little car, I would of never even considered it before but I'm liking it. That interior to me actually looks abit better than the current gen Civic which is well equipped but just looks plain and boring to me. The only thing I can gripe about are those wheels.. way too small for me heh. I dunno.. I'd really like an Accord coupe EX but it's too expensive for what it is, at least to me.. I'm kind of trying to convince myself of the Si Coupe or maybe a Civic EXL Coupe.. but this Fit.. very nice.
I have a red 20mm size red flashing lite on the the dash that appeared all of a sudden. Did not have before. Is this normal. 8000 miles on it 2016 fit ex. Pls help.
Hey I have a question about the keyless entry. It's going to kill me if I don't know. Do all the ex models beep when you put your hand in the handle like you did. Or is that a dealer option? Thanks in advance.
Hi there Ed! Awesome review! How is the ride on this new fit? Is the noise insulation comparable to that of civic or accord? Thanks! Looking forward on your future reviews of the new Fit :D
David Machen Those big review companies like to nit pick, they said our CR-V was loud on the inside but we don't think so, especially not with music on. Don't always take what they say too seriously.
David Machen Yea me either. I heard the Fit's CVT is the same one as in the Civic just tuned a bit differently and we also have a 2013 Civic Hybrid with CVT and its awesome. Not loud at all, even when accelerating its a muffled sound not a loud drone and dead silent at cruising.
Looks like the Fit will beat the tar out of Toyota Yaris, Scion XD, Ford Fiesta, Mazda 2, Mitsubishi Mirage, and Nissan Versa Note. I'm planning on buying latter 2015. (Buy a 2015 model, get discounts to make room for the 2016 models!)
I really dont like that key hole location...it looks like a bullet hole from last time you drove through the hood. I dont get how this passed the design review.
Hey Edward, I'm 16 and looking for a nice car, I would like to see the 2015 Honda Fit lx, if you have time, can you do a walk around and maybe a test drive of it. Thanks.
Yeah because he is in a traffic circle you dumbass, you yield when entering not exiting, funny your awesome perception failed you when the yield sign came up at 8:42 right.
Keep in mind just because it stickers for almost $22k doesn't mean that's what you pay for it. I bought a new '14 Civic EX sedan for $19,488 back in early May. There's a few dealers selling '14 Civic LX auto sedans for around $16,500 (sticker $19, 980) in the SF Bay Area. There are great deals to be had out there you just have to shop around.
Some CVTs aren't so bad anymore. One day they will probably fully replace traditional autos. I've seen some that simulate gears perfectly all the time and you can't even tell its a CVT.
Hey I used to own the 2006 Honda Jazz (Malaysian version) it came with a CVT 7 speed mode . Man that was fun tbh. That was when I was still in the Philippines before going to Canada. I was sad when I found out that North American version did not have the same transmission. But to be honest, I would take 6 speed manual anyday :)
Drove the 1.5 RS a few days ago and was really impressed, pick up was excellent even with the cvt, well spec'd and great quality inside and out, we now have one ordered, pearl white.
Thank you so much for test driving the fit! I love what it all has to offer! I'm truly impressed! great job on the presentation!
MzKaye Thank you!

Great video, kudos for going on the freeway.

Great review style and delivery...much better format and presentation than all the others. E.g. Consumer Reports
Thanks! I appreciate that
nice, i test drive this and the 2014 CR-Z, this seemed overall to be way better. tons of features
I've been watching 2015 Fit reviews for the last several months, and by far, this is the most informative. Thanks for making it!

One of the best features of Honda fit is ability to store a lot of things in the back and you are missing the review for that. But u did a great job!

Great love it. Best for city driving where there is too much traffic congestion and very few parking space.
Well done presentation! This is probably one of the best video reviews that I have seen from a dealership in regards to a car. Most of them tend to be boring for some reason. When I am in the market for a new vehicle, I am definitely going to consider the new Honda Fit!
Scott Howell thanks!
Excellent and comprehensive review. Well spoken and easily understandable. It is important to see the features available and in action. Thank you.
Wow, I tell ya...for 16,000 you really can't beat this..they did a good job with it.
I use to be against CVT's, but Honda and Toyota nailed it with the virtual shift points and smoothness. Nissan still needs to improve.
yes..well presented..i agree..
melayu radikal Thank you!

yes you can disable it in the settings :)

Thanks! There's definitely some great aftermarket options out there!
Edward your smile always brightens my day!! Great review!!
I wish you test drove the manual. Might be a potential replacement for my 13' Civic Si (I know...the horror) Good review!
I've been thinking the same thing
Heard the previous FIT models are very noisy at high speeds on the highway, thats why I steered away from it back in the past few models, did they fix this issue with the 2015 model?
It's a lot quieter than the previous gen. This class of vehicles are generally louder
Great video..Quick question! How many keys do you get? One or two?
Two
Looks pretty interesting! Like the ones in Singapore.
Yea
I'm pretty sold on getting a Honda Fit in a couple of months.
So glad I waited for the hatchback! :)
Very nice review. Does the Fit can tow a small trailer with an ATV in it? Several cvt transmissions can not. Thanks!
Nice review. But saying cvt transmission is redundant.
I'm in the market for this car and I think this video deals the deal for me
Ed. What happened to the side skirt? they replaced it with the splash guard. Will they offer that accessory in the U.S.? Thanks
Good review can you please share some insight into how is the legroom space on this make>
was wondering how this vehicle does in hilly situations. current car is a 99 sentra gxe and it struggles with local hills.
I have a question, I am currently shopping for this car and I notice on the description of the transmission says, "variable." Is this the same that you are driving in this video! I really like it! However I cannot drive stick! So does Variable mean "automatic?"
Yes, it's a variable automatic transmission
Good informative video. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks!
Excellent!! excellent test drive! It will be my next car. Thank you very much.

In the name of research, Honda cancel paddle shift for Honda Fit (aka Jazz) in Malaysia version
I'm trying to get a Fit . But I want one stickshift, does the ex comes with stickshift and if it does does the price change ?
You can get a manual on the EX. The MSRP is $17,800 as opposed to $18,600 with the CVT.
i really love this car! 😍😍😍 Saving up to get this. They dont have fit here in Australia but they have honda jazz. is it thr same as this?
NABILAH amdani yup that's right ☺
Good review Edward ! Nice car
Should I get this or the new 2015 gti I need to go atleast 0-60 in 6.2 sec can I do that in the fit?
How reliable are CVT's? I have heard some mixed reviews about them.

Super quiet!!! I'm thoroughly impressed with the insulation and the lack of noise
Edward Tomilloso Hey Edward! how's the cvt in the 2015 fit? loud? or quiet? Motorweek said it's loud
David Machen Those big review companies like to nit pick, they said our CR-V was loud on the inside but we don't think so, especially not with music on. Don't always take what they say too seriously.
IRiShIWAsDrUNK yeah figures, I couldn't really hear the CVT in the 2015 fit when i watched Edward's POV test drive

Do you get the HDMI port on the LX trim?
No. Only on ex and above

Does ex manual comes with navi?

Never mind 38 pmg highway and 32 mpg city,

can you do a manual version?
I really dont like that key hole location...it looks like a bullet hole from last time you drove through the hood. I dont get how this passed the design review.
30 pmg highway and 32pmg city?????????
It's a cvt, it doesn't shift

8:47 nice not yielding to pedestrians
Yeah because he is in a traffic circle you dumbass, you yield when entering not exiting, funny your awesome perception failed you when the yield sign came up at 8:42 right.
Fair enough, it works differently here. Problem is I didn't put much thought into the crossing's paint color. I would be right if it were yellow.
I want to take that car out for a fishing trip
Lots of dislikes eh Edward ?!
