The reason why it’s the best for me is because it’s classy I can put on a suit and drive it to a business dinner party and when I’m done I can go change put a helmet on and go beast mode on track against almost anything. There is nothing out there that does both as good as this car.
@@AM-fx7ge these cars you listed are absolutely amazing as far as performance maybe better than the caddy but caddy is miles away as far as being elegant and classy. What I was saying the caddy is definitely the best balance of the both worlds. Like I said If I go pick up a date and we have to be formal at an event caddy is what fits better in the parking lot next to Bentleys and rolls. Not saying the others wouldn’t but the caddy would be the better choice.
@@alexpaic2984 😅that statement contradicts itself, if your paying 100k for a sedan, its not the Cadillac, it does not “fit” in with a Bentley, what fits with a Bentley, rolls Royce is other cars on that spectrum. The only car Cadillac sells that’s classy and elegant that’s well respected amongst other at any event is the Escalade which we can all agree on is the staple of formality. I’m just saying that at 100k I’m not spending it on a CT5-V to “be elegant and classy” you could go S Class or 750i BMW

I didn’t say it perfectly fits next to a Bentley but it fits better than an m3 next to a Bentley for example. Again it’s in the middle more like an all around car and it’s not just me saying that it’s the entire car community so I know I’m not crazy. You misunderstood what I wrote. Never said it’s the most elegant and never said it’s the best sports car either. Ima say it like this: It fits in both worlds without lookin to out of place. Maybe you get what I was trying to say.

Mine was built end of January and still has not been delivered ? Also waiting over 2 years..... not the best, they're lucky the car is good enough to wait
I've heard GM has a nasty habit of sitting on these things after completion. I was told "It could sit 2 weeks, it could sit 3 months before being transported" EXTREMELY unusual for mine, it practically rolled off the assembly line & straight onto a truck. My dealer in Texas received mine roughly 10 days after assembly, and it's currently awaiting shipping from the dealer to me here in the Pacific Northwest. They've told me several times, to get it this fast is incredibly rare. They think a truck was departing for this dealership that had an open spot and it was just lucky timing.
UPDATE. I finally took possession of my '24 "Wing" Friday 3/29, so (give or take) built last week of Feb '24 and Received last week of March '24. In total that makes it roughly 26 months deposit to delivery. (I don't actually have it yet. It's parked inside a local shop awaiting PPF and window tint)
I have the 2022 manual Blackwing after owning a BMW M6 and 2018 manual M2 and it always gives me a rush. I can be chilling on the freeway in tour mode, super easy steering, soft suspension and quiet as heck, and with one button, turn it into a monster. The manual is incredible, so engaging, short shifting into a satisfying “clunk” every change.
I've got an '06 M6 Pontiac GTO that I've owned since new. It is a part-time fun car. If some dickhead ran a red light and totaled it, this Caddy is probably the next vehicle that I'll grab. But, I'll go with an automatic. After all, it still is at the end of the day, a four door sedan. Hats off to General Motors for still having the balls to put this out. 🎉
And with the recent facelift & GM’s announcement that they’re backing off the “All EV” movement, we may get a few more years out of these legendary small blocks.
@@1offgarage agreed. "All EV"is by far, the DUMBEST decision any company could have made. Demand was NEVER there. I said so when they talked about it years ago, and I'll say it again and agree with their decision not to move forward now. The only idiots that have pushed this crap is our stupid government (who I have zero respect for).
