ROLEX EMOJI 36 DAY DATE WATCH 🥰 (HANDS ON) - Rolex Going Into A New Bold Direction?
I had a feeling that stone dials would be among this year's innovations. But I never thought that Rolex would create an emoji watch in my wildest dreams.
Let me pause here to elucidate. For this year's Watches & Wonders, Rolex has released several Day-Dates, but the one that has everyone talking is the Day-Date that shows neither the day nor the date.
Instead of the day, which normally resides inside the arc-shaped aperture at 12 p.m., there is a disc with seven inspirational words: "Happy," "Eternity," "Gratitude," "Peace," "Faith," "Love," and "Hope." The date window at 3 p.m., which has traditionally displayed the date (this sounds like saying the sky is blue and the sun is hot, but I have a valid reason), now displays one of 31 emojis. A kissy face, a four-leaf clover, an eight ball, a heart, a peace symbol, and the Rolex coronet are among them. (petition to Apple on behalf of the watch community to make that an official emoji).
The watch is offered in white and yellow gold with a turquoise dial base color, as well as Everose with an orange dial base color. The multicolor jigsaw pattern on both dials is almost as startling and random as the emoji. There are ten rainbow baguette-cut sapphire markers that correspond to the jigsaw. And, of course, they're all attached to a President wristband.

The piece is eccentric and arguably insane, to the point where I couldn't tell if I'd imagined the watch as a result of transcontinental jet lag. Typically, this feeling is saved for brands such as Richard Mille. (which, recently released its own emoji watch).
I'm doing everything I can not to make a poor joke about this watch being a "Live Laugh Love" wrist sign. And, to be honest, it goes a little deeper than the stereotypical woo-woo suburban millennial parent who rubs crystals and keeps a gratitude diary. It's odd, to be sure, but it's indicative of the times.
If Rolex releases a Day-Date with emojis, we have truly entered a new era in the watch industry. Ben Clymer joked that a collector might refer to this watch as a line in the sand for the company. Rolex products will now be classified as pre-emoji or post-emoji.
Allow this oddity to serve as a reminder that anything is possible.

This is by far the best watch, Rolex ever developed.
id like one tbh all it is you gotta see it as a normal 3 hand watch with some other moving parts, itd be kinda fun theres no correct way to set the date and day, only thing is i wish it was cheaper and made by a different watch maker

I ❤ this watch so much, I aspire to obtain one. I understand why Rolex made this watch, it's for me. You don't need to understand why I'd prefer to have peace and hearts day, because I'm no longer using the watches functions to necessarily read the day and date. I mean we all have smartphones for that am I right. The purpose of what information I'm getting is not because I want to know the day and date. I want to know if it's fucking peace and hearts day. There's 31 emoji and emotion combinations to enjoy and that is damn cool and far more interesting then you plebians who want to know the day and date. Like jeez you have a phone for that. ❤❤

I wouldn’t pay anything crazy for this watch. I like it but it’s not something I would HAVE to buy. It’s cool looking though.

It's cool as a fashion watch. It's not cool if it has a woke political agenda that it represents. At this time, I don't know whether it is symbolic or fun. I won't be buying it [even if it's available].
