Usually in the United States, our go-to meal when we aren't with family for the holiday is a local family Chinese or Japanese type of restaurant, so this seems a very fitting role-reversal!
Dude, I assume you are Jewish. Cos that is what Jews do in America. The non-Jews I know do not do Chinese/Japanese food on Christmas. Plus your surname tells.
@@Tekhelet75 they said “go to meal when we aren’t with friends or family”. Pretty normal for a single person to order Chinese and not cook a whole feast.
Thank you so much for sharing your time! I do miss Japan and very disappointed that will not take my usually trip during the winter time. This is my favorite time to visit Tokyo. Be safe and God bless!
Do Japanese Really eat KFC for Christmas? ➔ Yes, especially people enjoy Christmas as a Festival (not religious event). But I've never heard Christian family (really rare in Japan) pick KFC for Christmas dinner though🤔😂
In think the question is about people living in Japan with an Christian belief (really religious) who also think about the underlining religious meaning of Christmas ❤️🎄
@@katrinlausch3078 Its harder to find a Christian in Japan than a white foreigner. Christmas in Japan is a superficial celebration holiday on par with Valentine’s Day.
Dear Rion, another superb video. You are really good at editing and the music you add is great. You made a really excellent choice of jacket with North Face, it will keep you snug. Japanese Christmas lights are the best and your photography is brilliant. ありがとう. Feeling like Christmas now.
Wow, nice video, Rion🦁the Bacarat Chandelier is so nice, I learned that beneath the display in Ebisu station is their Champangne Bar as well..so fancy🙂🥂🍾
Your title made me laugh! I'm amused cuz I've known KFC is popular in Japan , but also appreciate you are sharing whats in KFC and trying out the food, which very few UA-camrs do. Its so different than Malaysia. We don't have Ginger Ale served , nor a fish burger. So, thank you for sharing.
Happy New Year. I’m happy I found your channel today. Your KFC meal looks oishii. I love Japan and Japanese food. I was stationed in Japan twice during my military career. I have many fond memories. Thank you for sharing this video.
Loved this vlog as usual Rion. You always make me feel so much better and when you smile everyone next to you is in a good mood. Thank you for this. Take care, regards from Germany. 🎄
Rion, your new mic is excellent. We heard you clearly even though the train was running. BTW. the North Face is named after the north face of Half Dome in Yosemite in California.
Thank you Rion for sharing this little bit of Japanese holiday culture. Love your channel my friend, you are always so positive and happy! Happy holidays to you and yours! 🎄

Rion, your audio is very good and is the most important part of your videos. Personally, I like the 20-30 minute videos because they are easier to fit into y schedule.
Thank you for the fun and entertaining video Rion! Your new equipment seems to be working great. The 'christmas tree' did make me chuckle, it's kind of like a tree. By the way, you're looking fantastic in the new jacket! I'm looking forward to your next video. Merry christmas my friend! I hope you have a lovely time with friends and family. ^..^
It may seem odd to some people that the video is about how the scene is in Japan during Christmas and that you're eating KFC for Christmas dinner. One thing is for sure, your vlogs are very interesting and unique to your own style of presentation and how you show and portray Japan as it is. Your language is simple and you are unpretentious. What's really interesting is that nearly everyone loves Mc Donald's even though it's not the healthiest of foods. What's even more interesting is that Mc Donald's meals and food items and even desserts are unique and different in each country. So it was very interesting to see what type of food Mc Donald's serve in Japan. Thank you for sharing details of what you were eating. You're amazing and keep posting such lovely videos.
Rion, have you ever done the biggest train station surroundings? like which place leads to the next place? Like for Shibuya for instance, considering it's quite a big place and Tokyo Train Station? Our group was turned around for a couple of times especially like the Ginza line / station
Where IS that Christmas tree??!! :D One time my family was travelling at Christmas and the only place we could find to eat was a KFC. Now it is a Christmas tradition for us here in the UK. We're waiting for our 'Covid Safe' home delivery now. I like your cheerful personality - Happy Christmas!
You've shared so many traditions and insights into Japanese culture that your channel wouldn't be complete without a video about KFC x Christmas. I got a takoyaki hot plate as a Xmas gift to myself, and I'm !!
Awww! I want those snoopy mugs! I missed the Snoopy store used to be located in Harajuku. The last Snoopy cafe I went was in Chiba. That’s a long train ride to get there! Thanks Rion for showing us the Christmas season in Tokyo! Lovin’ it!
I hope my parents come to visit Japan soon and I hope Japan opens up for tourists soon. Usually I always take it to Tokyo Ebisu to see the Christmas tree with lamp and biggest chandelier especially night.
Wow, Rion-san looks delicious... I think it's okay even though we don't eat cake for Christmas. Chicken is better I guess, it'll be great with beer. Ganbarimasu
Thanks for sharing the view in Japan of Christmas. I miss Japan sooooo much, while I used to travel 3 or 4 times per year. The burger you had looked good & I’d have to try find it in HK.. Hope we have it here too 😂.
Haha, what a strange christmas tree. :D That red chicken looked very spicy, but I would try it, also the chicken burger looked good. :) We usually eat fish in Czech for Christmas dinner. I am looking forward for more videos, really great idea to post more a week. Thanks to you I can travel to Japan virtually every time. :)
Hi Rion, love the content that you’re bringing out. Makes me miss Japan soo much 😫. Just out of curiosity, what’s the name of that North Face coat? Looks really warm to wear 😁. Keep up the great work 👍
I got so hungry watching Rion eat 😂 we call it hamburger here too. I got so confused hearing some one call them sandwich too the first time lol thanks for sharing! Have a nice day!
Anything between two pieces of bread or buns that's not a meat patty is called a sandwich in America. Doesn't matter if it's on a hamburger bun, still a sandwich if it's not a ground up meat or veggie patty. Also I can't believe I just discovered your channel. You are so so much fun to watch. In Texas it's common to eat deep fried turkey and tamales on Christmas. Happy holidays to you from Texas
Hey Rion! Thanks for your videos I really love watching them 🥰 I’m not sure if this tip helps? But one thing I do before going somewhere is to use the Instagram location tag to see if there is any Christmas tree/ autumn leaves etc (u can see the most recent photos) at the area or place ✨ but I do enjoy the alternative endings too!! I learnt something new about baccarat crystal chandeliers today!

Not Japanese, but I'll get KFC for Christmas as well XD, probably bucket of fried chicken.
