My dad is all of these and he has never been rich, he will never be rich. As a pessimist, he is very jealous, envious and hates rich people. He won't even get a gym membership because he doesn't want the gym owner to make enough money to drive a luxury car...He has a very toxic, poverty mindset.

@@danielleonard5998 Yeah that's also something to think about and as some other video says you may need help or leave it since I can say good video on the above and in these times the problems only get much deeper and it's not like these types of people help and are just as clueless as people in these times of disaster. Also really can't find value in anything like Japanese myths or going into some club really wouldn't last long there nor would they be great in an anime community then again for anime itself there's parts to get the stuff working to consider and those aren't all sites and for the people that know this it would be a big mistake to reveal to much about that to these types of people in the video above really have to look into clubs and organizations that deal with this and it's not like a UA-cam list video can help either especially when dealing with that.

In 2009 I bought gold. I spent 3 years wages on buying. It was perfect timing. Now gold has soared it was worth it. I also have a money cluey wife. I work the hours I want at a job that I enjoy. We are not millionaires but financially secure. Pretty much debt free as we paid off the house quickly (10 years).

What got my wife and I motivated to work seriously towards financial independence was when we were in our early 40’s and both dissatisfied with our jobs and with working for someone else.
We both had the same epiphany and really focused on building up our financial assets and I made getting educated about investing and money management my highest priority.
It didn’t happen overnight but by our late 50’s we were in the financial position where we could retire. Being financially independent for us was the best feeling in the world and worth way more than owning any material possession.
In looking back at my working career I realized that I hated being someone’s employee and not having total control over my financial situation. I worked for 10 different employers in 36 years and each one started off OK but after 2 or 3 years I was dissatisfied and wanted to move on. I think there are a lot of people presently working for an employer who probably feel the same way.

I was just thinking about this. I invited my 30 year old son over for supper for his birthday. He said he would bring "some good food". I eat what I grow, everything is fresh and organic and vegetable heavy. He lives on eating out and takeaway food, as well as instant things. The way I live is the reason I can give him interest free loans with no payback schedule. Maybe I should eat 'good food' and not have money to 'loan' him....

People who don't suffer from ADHD can't offer advice, they can't possible understand what it is like. Just saying try harder, concentrate etc etc are throw away lines. Trying to learn about investing in the stock market is extremely hard because the ADHD brain does not retain information like a "normal" brain. We have to try twice as hard to get the same results. I find it helps to just accept that I have ADHD and I can't do anything about it and stop playing the blame game. It helped finding out that this is why I was such a bad person with money and credit cards.

Spot on ! So many of our neighbors are perfect examples of these problems. They are approaching what should be their retirement years and realize they cannot retire because they saved nothing and lived 100% YOLO. Meanwhile we go off and have a blast but do not advertise it on social media. Went away for a couple weeks and when we got back had some messages on our answering machine from people who by the 4th and 5th message were a little angry that we were not responding... hahahah We were out of the country and they didn't know it. When they found out that little fact, they were even more mad that we did not tell them. So you can't win with toxic people. We have trimmed our "friends" down to a smaller circle. We no longer allow what I call emotional vampires into our lives.

Better late than waking up at age 80 with life of regrets. During these times I've been looking for opportunities. Many people are taking their skills and creating their own opportunity either contracting themselves out or starting a business. Do a real assessment of the education, skills, and experience you've gained over time, and if needed update them with more training (so much more is offered online than ever before now during these times).
