The entire system is operated by The Usafiri salama Dar es Salaam Rapid Transit (UDA-RT) under the surveillance of the Surface and Marine Transport regulatory authority (Sumatra).Currently, the route is serviced by a fleet of 140 Chinese built Golden Dragon buses, providing express and local service for 18 hours daily from 05:00am to 11:00pm.

Keep up the Good work African Tigress!! I'm Nigerian 🇳🇬 and This video brings sweet memories to me! I've been to this same Stations. I really Enjoyed my visit here! The country has got a lot of differences to Nigeria where I come from. The power supply there is 24 hours as long as you've got your prepaid Units loaded LOL...Food is cheap and nice and the People here are always willing to talk or assist You with Whatever You need to do. I stayed at a hotel close to the stations In Mzimbazi.....Very busy place to live in!! I'll be In Kariakoo Hopefully For the Easter holidays this 2022! Loved visiting Sinza, Kunduchi Beach, Mzimbazi, and many other nice places I had the opportunity to see! Forgot to add that Tanzanian women are Really pretty!! There are nice pubs such as Elements, etc....It's a lovely place to visit for anyone who wants to experience East Africa in a new Dimension. I'm however angry I never went to see the Mount Kilimanjaro I've always read about as a Kid in textbooks while growing up but I guess il do that this coming Easter when I visit again! Karibu 🇹🇿🇹🇿

We see how poorer people amongst us are so deprived because of a lack of a good public transport system like Dares salam . They cannot go to work easily. This is one way to know about Africa. @@MrGusno facepalm, political stupidity already reach here. Please learn history who start busway and where we got the idea. It started at sutiyoso era based on colombia success on bus rapid transit.
Here in Trinidad and Tobago we have a very similar means of Transport, its called the *Priority Bus Route* its like an alternative to a Train system and it is so convenient. There are buses and a form of smaller bus we call a "Maxi Taxi" or just "Maxi" and they each have one of 6 (red, green, yellow, blue, black or brown) painted on them. Each colour represents a different destination so that's how you know where its final stopping point/station is. Its quite coincidental that we both have something like this and our flags are of such similar designs 🤣 and both our countries' names begin with a "T"! Lol, Go on Tanzania!!!! Love from T&T.
we call that "Mwendo Kasi" meaning "Fast bus"
