You can stealth solo or duo helldive with the scout armor
Being level 11 going into 7 8 and 9 difficulty is a wild choice, but I'm all here for it.
Only one way for Joe to get good: diving into the deep end
Just do kill missions and you can get to Helldive solo fairly easily with the right load out

@@Faded980 ya I meant early on you can do like 2 missions that'll complete an operation until like level 7 I think

Automatons on higher difficulty is where the real fun begins.
They're honestly easier outside of the evac missions.
It's when you try to go for all the side objectives and full extraction that the higher difficulties really show their fangs.
A Modifier I would find entertaining (to watch) and I am just throwing an idea in the room, without knowing wether or not it was already considered: A Stratagem Roulete, bring in a randomized Set of Stratagems. New randomization each Mission. But I also like the "doing both factions" and "Doing all Side Missions" ones.
Stratagem roulette is a very fun and silly idea, definitely writing that down for the future!
That was actually a feature you could use in the first game, Randomized Loadout. You would earn extra XP for using it.
@@All_Mighty672 Oh right. I have pretty much forgotten about that. Didn't play that much of the first one (8 hrs), due to when I played it, so there weren't many people left around.
The devs actually disabled this already. There was a modifier that would cause your strategems to be different if you threw them
Stratagem scrambler is a mission effect that causes your stratagem to select any available one no matter what code you put in.@@screenfunfan
Bots on higher difficulties is just so much more fun and engaging

As a 7-9 casual gamer. It’s fun, just keep moving, never stop running
One the chargers armor is broken (the color changes and you see flesh), you’re much better off shooting it in the weakened spot with your primary.
The stun grenades from the new battle pass make chargers significantly easier to kill. It’ll stun titans as well.
The mission also gets a lot more challenging if you start doing side objectives so I think you should add those in.
All of the bots feel pretty fair except for the rocket guys. I enjoy fighting them more than the bugs even though they’re more challenging.
I’m still playing level 7 against both after the patch but it’s definitely tough.

Pro tip, guys. The Railgun can be switched into Unsafe mode by holding R then hitting RMB. You fired several safe mode shots to remove the limb of that Charger, where one 95%+ charge Unsafe mode shot would do it. We got confirmation from Arrowhead as well, that Unsafe mode isn't just a bit more damage for the risk of the gun exploding. It's a multiplier on damage, and 99% is considered 2.5x damage and able to pen medium armour. Note: Safe mode (default) on the Railgun isn't able to pen armour at all.
Someone may have already mentioned it or you now know but the bugs that look like big hunters are stalkers and you need to find their nests immediatly, they are super strong. just watch what direction they come from to find the nest. Love the vid, good luck with the roadd to helldive!

This is by design.
Difficulty is managed in this game by patrol spawns, which march towards your last location at the time they're spawned in, with the goal of having one of those patrols stumble on you so they can call in a breach. The higher the difficulty the shorter the default time between patrols spawning.
Obviously the more patrol spawns that pop in looking for you makes for a higher chance that you bump into a patrol, which then creates a breach and spawns heavies. Then while you're sitting in place fighting that breach off, more patrols find you and result in more breaches etc. This is why it can sometimes feel like an endless wave of enemies to fight off, because patrols keep finding you while you're busy fighting off the last breach.
Things like side objectives and killing nests/factories raise the spawn rate a little. I believe you can kill half of the nests/factories without affecting it, but every one you destroy after that increases spawns.
BUT the biggest factor that affects patrols spawning is....completing the main objective. Once you do that patrol spawns QUADRUPLE. This is done because the game assumes after you've done the objective you'll be heading to extract, and they want a fun "fight the horde off" extract.
So this is what happened in that 3rd mission where it was All Quiet on the Western Front...until you completed the main objectives.

stims make you essentially invincible while the stim is working for a few seconds. If you get swarmed, stim first

great video, cant wait to watch this AND the zombies series, also it would be nice if the name indicators top right didnt cover the time remaining and the samples etc that you guys have, maybe just a little bit to the left in that empty space between the time and the compass would be great

I'd love to see you guys try to full clear all difficulties (main objective, all side objectives, all nests, and extract) for both factions, because that's really a challenge even on difficulty 7.
If you are looking for challenges, try getting the super samples from those missions. There should be three that spawn in most missions (not the swarm missions, but basically all the others) around an uniquely shaped rock.
maybe something like a vip escort mission. you have to protect one of you and he only gets to run with you or some nonsense like that :D love the series already
This is a fun idea
Biggest thing i feel is just knowing when to run and when to fight with the bugs. Running is usually the better option. Plus the shield generator pack and anti tank are POG.

I'm working up the courage to get to helldiver difficulty currently with the bots. Can't do bugs cuz I can't handle the swarms but I've completed all difficulties up to (not counting) impossible solo so far on bots. I plan on doing impossible next time I get on and then hopefully take some friends in for the first helldive run
I'd imagine it's been suggested but I feel a series of "We have never played this game" would be a great watch for whichever games you have limited or no time in honestly
Been going at it since level 15, got kicked plenty but have been going strong at level 28 now
If one of you is able, I recommend using the Mech to help in sticky situations and for the extract. Can easily kill 5+ Bile titans when used properly.
Yeah this was recorded before the mech was out so we'll definitely use it in the future
That is so wierd, you all where killed by Gape alot, even tough it where the Bugs, and i allways get Killed by myself when i die to Bots.
Also you guys got incredible lucky with the D7 mission, normaly there are like 3 Bile Titans and 7 chargers at once when on evac, and often even just when doing the mission normaly.
Started playing at Diff5, It was trial by fire. Learn fast or die hard. - Now after 70+ hours, I can't even take Diff5 seriously anymore. That, and being constantly starved for Common Samples due to never playing through earlier difficulties.

They are the secret hardest enemy
The difficulty settings seem to be really off at times, some lower tiers feel harder than 7-8 tiers. Add in the random effects and it can be tough to tell what you are walking into.

This was the day before the mechs and new warbond update/patch.

I'd definatly recommend running the scout light armor you get pretty early on, makes you able to sneak by some encounters
Its good solo, borderline useless with a team unless youre that guy who makes your friends fight the enemies while you go james bond

These guys are a bunch of liars if you look they are editing the video to look like they passed all the levels easy but look at their reinforcement number keeps resetting to 15 proves they actually been dying and failing. Stop the cap , typical UA-camrs faking you out with edits and cuts to the gameplay
but there is literally a full 2 hour run for patrons friend, they can look at the entire footage lol
