I have a super late season archery hunt in NV. I'm scouting 2 weeks before the hunt. I'm worried worried that those deer won't be where I find them when I get back in there. I'm excited and freaking out a little because I really want to punch that tag.
Aside from the mostly bow hunting guys interchanging the term caliber (diameter of the bullet) instead of cartridge (combination of bullet, powder, brass and primer) this was an excellent podcast.
I always enjoy learning more about something that I don’t have experience in yet. I plan on going to Wyoming for a rifle hunt going after pronghorn and mule deer and I am trying to figure out which dates would be best for both. Leaning toward later October possibly into early November instead of early or mid October
Can you guys talk about what go high or low means as far as what elevations? Are you talking about the same mountain or totally different areas? Thousands of feet higher or lower, or work your way down a few hundred at a time. As someone with little mountain hunting experience, that is something I always struggle with understanding.

I'm conflicted.... Just got some NL 12X42'S. For the season...
I might want the 10's instead.... Guys please give me your opinions....
I spotted deer at 1.4 miles and 2.2k elevation but close up i might want the field of view of the 10's... Just uograded from nikon monarch 7 10x42's... And OMG...
BUTT....What do you think about those NL's?!!! 10 or 12?!!! .... Cody the Glassman SOUND OFF!
