Just because I'm a ghetto street God of a paramedic: please only use CoTCCC approved tourniquets, wound packing hemostatic gauze is also a good investment and a good pressure dressing for wounds that don't require TQ use, Also, TQs are meant to STOP arterial bleeding not slow it. Chest seals are a good idea as well. And a Stop the Bleed class is (in my mind) a pertinent addition especially in the backcountry.
Ive got the Spartan Precision tripod also. So light and comes right off so you dont have to trek with it on. I love it. Love the whole system actually with the davros head.
GREAT Video Ryan very informative and full of great information. Alot of great ideas to try and new products. Thank you again Ryan. It would be great to watch you load your pack. I have alot of 1st time kids learning about hunting in youth groups Go Hunt and others have been a great help God's Blessings to you and your family on all of your adventures
One thing that would be fun to see with these videos would be a cost breakdown. Along with the weight show the price at time of filming and a total system cost at the end.
Yeah my Z Packs Carbon Fiber Stakes failed first time out. Granted I was using a rock to stake them in hard ground. Been using the Z Packs Super Sonics and they are stout and light weight.
Awesome run down! Probly should unwrap that CAT tourniquet though and stage it so it’s handier and ready for use. Maybe you do once you’re out in the field?
The stHealthy hunter KIT bags are great! Just learned about from video and in few days there here, and now part of my edc gear. Gonna order more for hunting pack gear next, and could use many more for organizing small items at home office/bow shop/tool room, thanx much🤩
Hey Ryan back again Would show how you pack your food and the food you take on a 8 day or 10. The kids would like to see how you pack your back pack. Do you have a list of all your gear in the video God's Blessings Thank you and God's Blessings on your adventures
Hey Perry! Ryan has some great videos on his channel, StHealthy Hunter, that should his food and packs. Also, all the gear in this video is linked in the description.
I still like shooting distance but just not on critters. Between the 4-22 or 3-15 I honestly could go either way. We’re always blasting rocks out to 1000 for fun so the extra mag is nice 👍
Hi Ryan, awesome content. Is your Smith and Wesson M&P 10mm the 2.0. I’m looking to get a holster system for my M&P 10mm 2.0 wondering if it will fit in the holster you are running? Thanks happy hunting
That rifle weight is right up my alley. I try to keep my weapons system under 8lbs and I always limit my shots to 300. Shots longer than and you are not really hunting.
Not sure but obviously a lot.. not necessary to to fill tags but I like having the best most durable and reliable gear. It’s my biggest passion so the investment make sense for me personally 🤷♂️.
Earth tones are allows a good bet. Just some consumer advice to purchase solids then you get more use out of the item rather than one activity. Camo is great but being able to wear your favorite pieces All the time and not look like a tool is nice.
My wife got very sick of my relentless camo clothing years ago so I go solids now and have for years. My hunting wear is also my daily wear. Camo not necessary at all IMO. On archery or rifle hunts
There's two I listen to with confidence, you and Aron Snyder. I'm old enough to be y'alls daddy but I still learn from y'all. Should have had your wife assisting you, she's the smart one.
I saw one of your podcasts where you and or Brian Call raved about the Peax gaiters, headlamp and trekking poles. Very disappointed! I bought the headlamp and trekking poles. So far the trekking poles seem ok but the headlamp is junk and won’t take a charge. Sending it back. I kept an eye on their website for the gaiters to become available for 4 months! Finally I found the T And K gaiters and love them! And made in USA. There seams to be a circle jerk of companies surrounding you guys and the small American made companies get ignored…….
You guys don't fuck around on your hunts and I love it.
Lampers is a beast on the mountain. If he carries it then there is a reason behind it. Great info on this gear dump.
💯
Ryan thanks for bringing to everyone’s attention CRISPI boots worn by the GOAT 🐐 whenever Go Hunt talks about top boots they never mention those 😎👍🏽
Because they don't sell them anymore
Most detail I’ve seen on a gear list from Lampers. Love it!
What is your total pack weight? Y’all should start adding those on your videos like Brady did on his last.
Awesome video, really enjoy seeing what Ryan is using out in the woods. Really appreciate the description of things on the right side.
Great brief. 300 yard shots or closer. That’s a true sportsman that respects the game.
It was funny hearing him talk at a normal volume, normally he’s whispering 😂 great vid 👍
My go to first aid kit is a Blue Force Gear Trauma now Medium. I used in the Marine Corp as well and absolutely loved it
The stalkasins 🙌
Today's gear dump brought to you by Stone Glacier™
Fr 😂
Good gear, no need to hate on someone who uses good stuff that’s made in the state they live in🤷🏻♂️

Thanks for watching, Perry!
Great gear dump video Ryan! I run Argali game bags. They are awesome as well.
Well done Ryan. Lots of good nuggets. Appreciate you brother
Awesome! Been waiting to see a vid comparing what you carry to what Brian carries. Love these.
Glad you enjoyed!
Thanks for sharing GoHunt and Ryan! Go get em! 😃👍🏻
Awesome thanks for sharing Ryan . Your a huge roll model to me not only in the hunting aspect but watching the clips you share with your family.
Awesome to hear!
What is the total weight of your bag all in with the late season gear?
Great video, really gets me excited for fall!!
Same here!
Holy crap what an informative video.
Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Cheers mate, you're an inspiring fella - especially for an ageing wannabe like me!
One thing that would be fun to see with these videos would be a cost breakdown. Along with the weight show the price at time of filming and a total system cost at the end.
Hey Nathaniel! That is some great feedback. We really appreciate it. We will definitely keep this in mind when filming the next one.
Awesome video👍 Would you test dukuseek heated hunting vest? Looking forward to prepare one for the coming hunting season.
Yeah my Z Packs Carbon Fiber Stakes failed first time out. Granted I was using a rock to stake them in hard ground. Been using the Z Packs Super Sonics and they are stout and light weight.
You put holes in little bags that you keep in your pack? Please explain

all good info on gear... Brian Call does a pack dump but never seen Ryan's....
You like the stone glacier pack or the initial accent one better trying to decide

What is your target pack weight for an early season 5 day backcountry hunt as an example, both for an area with plentiful water and one without?
Hey Eligio. We recommend 40-50 lbs for a early season 5 day hunt.
Hi. Nice gear. The Stone Glacier packs hanging in the backdrop. Is that the Avail 2200 and Approach 2800?
Just curious why you running such a big magnification scope of you’re only shooting out to 350 yards max?
Cause I’m sure he shoots way further , just doesn’t wanna say 😂
I still like shooting distance but just not on critters. Between the 4-22 or 3-15 I honestly could go either way. We’re always blasting rocks out to 1000 for fun so the extra mag is nice 👍
Total pack weight usually with everything late season?
2nd that. And pack out w meat load. I bet 40-48 and pack outs up to 120.
we hope to see you soon hunting in Spain with Pedro Ampuero. a bergara is missing on the table. 😉
Hi Ryan, awesome content. Is your Smith and Wesson M&P 10mm the 2.0.
I’m looking to get a holster system for my M&P 10mm 2.0 wondering if it will fit in the holster you are running?
Thanks happy hunting
Correct it’s the 2.0 👍
Aweaome video! Can we get that hour talk on food??
It seems food is something folks are very interested in so 👍
Thanx
You're welcome! 👊
How many feet of cordage do you carry in your kit? Thanks for all the info!
50'normally. In grizzly country 2 to 3 times that amout
Most hunts 50ft, for elk 100 ft👍
Slick video
That rifle weight is right up my alley. I try to keep my weapons system under 8lbs and I always limit my shots to 300. Shots longer than and you are not really hunting.
what brand is the coffee cup?
Its a gsi
Sorry im a beginner but why grey color and not some camo?
Camo is absolutely not necessary IMO. My solids are broke up enough and I’ve noticed zero affect in archery hunts or rifle hunts👍
@@StHealthyHunter merci 😁
What larger hoodie did you use ??
The chinook base layer hoodie and the helio hoody..
Which video describes all their optics?
Is there any risk in damaging my puffy gear and Stone sleeping bag always stored in a compression sack?
You never want to store any down compressed
I try to never store it compressed unless it’s in the pack. Best longevity if it’s stored in an oversized bag or no bag. Decompressed👍
What's the grand total cost. retail, in this video?
Not sure but obviously a lot.. not necessary to to fill tags but I like having the best most durable and reliable gear. It’s my biggest passion so the investment make sense for me personally 🤷♂️.
Why no camo? Also, I feel poor now 😅

I wish they made more vests without collars
Both puffy and wool

Excellent but you forgot to pack me 😁👊🏻

An advertisement for Stone Glacier
Wonder if his rifle weighs less than his bow
It absolutely does. Only 6.8 lbs overall on the rifle. Add about three lbs for my bow setup 👍
@@StHealthyHunter LOL and he doesn't run a stabilizer
Really surprised Ryan doesn't carry multiple ways to purify water
Or a back up drop or tablet….very strange right ?
Sorry if I didn’t mention that in this but I absolutely do carry tabs in case the steripen fails..I actually have iodine as well as aqua mira 👍
@@StHealthyHunter Ah! That makes more sense! Thanks Ryan, good luck this season!
All that top of the line gear has to cost 50,000$
Hmmmm I wonder who sponsors this guy
