If anything the writers wrote her being antagonistic to Henry just to have children root for Henry than hating Henry.
I'd imagine an exchange between TV Henry and Book Henry would go something like this. Book Henry: (does something downright evil to Book Peter) TV Henry: OK, you've gone too far, other me. Peter didn't do anything to provoke you! Book Henry: Yeah, so? TV Henry: So?! He didn't deserve something like that! Book Henry: Shut your mouth, I don't need a reason! TV Henry: That's not Horrid, that's pure Evil! Book Henry: Yeah? What do you know, worm? TV Henry: I know a lot about Horridness. And tripping Peter up and kicking him while he's crying on the floor is just vile! Book Henry: What's your problem?! We're the same person, why are you getting so cut-up about this? No way Fuming Francesca was nice to Henry. No way that vulnerability led to a genuinely heartwarming moment. No way I nearly cried over goddamn Horrid Henry.
Henry is much worse in the books, often displaying sociopathic tendencies and villainous behavior. He gives head lice to the other kids, actually tried to murder Peter as a baby, is more prone to physical violence, sold Peter as a slave to make a quick buck, genuinely hates everyone, and has a much creepier design.
Horrid Henry in the show is much better than in the books, yeah in the show at first he was very much the same, but in the show he mellowed out and matured a lot going from a near sociopath to a cheeky kid with a genuinely good heart

Horrid Henry's TV iteration and his book iteration meeting would not go well, it would be like making Saturday Morning cartoon Beetlejuice meet his movie counterpart, they would get along with each other, but when SATAM Beetlejuice finds out he tried to marry Lydia at 13 and again 36 years later, all hell will fucking break loose. The same would apply with AOSTH Robotnik and SATAM Robotnik, G1 Megatron and Animated Megatron, TTG Trigon and TT Trigon, hell, even Game Bowser and all of his fanon iterations. The Book Henry makes Bill Cipher and Belos look like generic TV show antagonists. Book Henry was pure evil, no redeeming qualities, whatsoever. (Even though he saved Peter one time.) If the Mummy's Curse book was released today, Henry would definitely use ChatGPT rather than cheating off of Clever Clare's sheet. But, if Book, TV, and movie Henry ever met... Except a lot of selfcest... Plus, Season 1 Henrry was a menace, man... If Fire Lord Ozai ever was a kid, He would definitely be like Season 1 Henry... Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
