I can’t believe you live so close to King’s Island! Oh the nostalgia … when I was little, back in the 80s, we used to fly over to have a holiday with my aunt, uncle and cousins who lived in Indiana and each time they would take us to King’s Island. We LOVED it and there were smurfs! I wanted to be smurfette when I grew up 🤣😜🤣 We thought it was the coolest place ever! Thanks for the walk down memory lane, ladies.
Stephanie I totally get the organizing - it’s definitely self care in my life, I feel so calm and comforted afterward. I hope you know what a blessing your mom is, mine wasn’t, I look at your mom and think how blessed you are! Your relationship is a balm to my soul. Glad you got time off to rest and reset. 🪡🧵☮️🌻
Hi friends! Thanks for sharing your beautiful stitching with us for another week :) Steph, you've made so much progress on the baseball piece! Glad to hear that you were able to unplug a bit during your vacation time. I hope you're having a great week this week. Happy stitching 💜
Stephanie, I like organizing too!!! Just wish I had more time to tackle it. Pam , I LOVE how you asked Stephanie to help you with your kit floss situation! Hilarious!
I’m right with ya, Steph! Love having all the bits and pieces together! I finally received the Frieze fabric and am ready to go on #tppnutcrackersal on July 15. Wonderful video! Your baseball Mill Hill looks fantastic as well as everything you stitched on Pam. Happy stitching!❤
I was staying inside yesterday because the temp reached 120 degrees. I live in the Las Vegas valley. The last time the temp was this high was 83 years ago. You guys always make me giggle but this week I laughed out loud. I laughed when Pam said "I can see them from my back porch". I caught the reference immediately. Your stitching is amazing.
Love your back and forth banter ladies! Also your wips, plans and hope to meet you both someday at Stitch Con! Really look forward to Sunday evenings with you two!
Oh my gosh I woke up this morning and my subscriber count had doubled! Thank you ladies for your kind words. I had such a great time at stitch con and can’t wait to come hang out with you again!! ❤❤
Steph, I was working on kitting up kit, sorting through wips and organizing also. I did make some new project bags cause you can never have enough.🤣Ita been to dang hot to go outside and do anything else. I’ve been getting a lot of stitching done also. Come on Fall weather. Love you ladies…see you next Sunday. Debbie (MD)
Golden moment. I remember the first time I Stumbled upon your channel. You both were just so Goofy. I thought to myself, who would watch this. BUT, being busy stitching at that moment, I just left you two chatter on. Then as the program went on, and Steph blew her kazoo, hit the xylophone, and you both Yelled “ Mail Call” I was hooked into you “ Crazy Fun Two.” Now when you’re off for two weeks, I go into an addictive withdrawal, and scan to watch your oldies to get my fix for the week. Keep being you’s. Being an alone widow, you brighten my week.
Those old kits! Oh my word, the challenge of them! The awful aida fabric, the mysterious floss (made by aliens?) and the incomprehensible floss key....memories, lol! You could build a garden shed with the fabric....and all the back-stitching, omg. I enjoy some back-stitching, but wow...this much back-stitching could lead to dangerous trances....😵💫
Hahaaa! “You could build a garden shed with the fabric” is so funny! Folks really are swapping out the fabric on their old kits left and right for the SAL! - Aimee (@threadgremlins)

I love Stephanie's "vacation mode". We have a local campground that we go to for a long weekend a couple of times a year. There is wifi near the office, but most of the campground is a dead area for cell signal. I love that we kick back, listen to music and are completely unplugged when we go there. 🪡👠
Well, you two enabled my HUSBAND. Your comments about organizing made him turn to me and say, "Sounds like something YOU need to do!" My craft room is semi-organized...
Steph, sounds like you the perfect vacation! Looking forward to seeing what both of you ladies have selected for your Olympic Stitching! OMG I love Kings Island .. remember those fireworks close at 10p. Two summers during college ('87 & '88) my dad drove out a small camper for me as I lived in a campground there in Lebanon. I worked parttime at the campground to help cover my rent there & worked at Kings Island at the Rivertown Potato Works food stand right by the train station. It was so much fun! As soon as we heard the fireworks & our line was clear, we shut the window & started counting out our register. If we didnt have to help w other closing duties we were able to walk back to wardrobe while watching tge fireworks. Some nights we'd meet up w our co-workers at Skyline Chili just down the road. So much fun. The only bad thing was my hair was past shoulder length & it took weeks to get that potato fries smell out of my hair! 😂 There were also a couple ice skaters from the German Restaurant that lived at the campground too. Often went into the parks when family came out to visit from IL. It was so much fun to escape the heat inside & watched the Ice Show .. they had the best strawberries & cream! The one regret was I never ate at the Golden Lamb .. had went in a couple times & shopped in their gift shop though. It was such a cute downtown. I also remember a cute Christmas Shop over close to Kings Island. Would love to go bk sometime. Thanks for the trip down Memory Lane! Have a great week!
Well ladies thanks so much for the shout out! I debated a long time on a channel for mostly because life! Now back to my regularly scheduled program aka getting a model done! 🤣🤣🤣 🐈⬛🦋💙

Yes girls, the fireworks at Kings Island every night at 10pm signaling the end of operational hours for the day. I so miss Kings Island. Although I only rode "The Beast" once. I'm not big on heights or being tossed around like a salad. Fun times though since it's a beautiful park. I did go down (I mainly grew up in Lima) a couple times around the July 4th holiday. Packed house!
Hi Pam and Steph I'm back been away for a little while and have been so behind on floss tube. May was a very busy month for me and my hubby we went to Indiana to see my grand daughter graduate from High School. There were 1,360.00 in her class and it was about 3 1/2 hours. Whew!!! She will be going to Ball State University this September and is majoring in Art and her brother starts High School and does Ice Hockey and Football. July is also a very busy month on July 2nd my hubby and I celebrated our 52nd Anniversary and July 27th I turn 72. Ladies where does the time go. I started up 37 new starts this year and added 4 more new starts in May and I have about 12/15 maybe more new starts in July. I am doing Christmas in July with Dena Half cross stitch and really enjoying it. I always love seeing your WIP's and finishes. You two ladies make me laugh a lot and love your cross stitching. I have a few that you have shown on my wishlist. I am from Canada and was born in Hamilton Ontario Canada and became naturalized around 1993/94 timeframe. My hubby and I are veterans. I love Canada and America they both are my homes. In the meantime Happy Stitching and be safe and kind. God bless Pat

Hope that helps ladies. Great video again this week see you next time bye now 🇦🇺👋🦘
Oh wow! I’m a Steeves descendant as well! I had emailed the Steeves Museum to inquire if they had a kit or pattern of the family crest. They did not have anything. My DIL is in graphic design industry and she took the circle design that is printed with all the brothers names in a circle on graph squares. Now I need to get the correct colors designated for each brother, graph the ten by ten squares and reduce the size.
@@jeanettechmielorz393 The one I got at Because You Count was rectangular, but I have the commemorative plate which I could probably chart, which I would prefer. I'm descended from 4 of the brothers 🙂.
Speaking of Boston baseball…when my grandson was 6 (now 18) he told me he wanted a baseball quilt and wanted it to say Boston and Baseball. He still uses it! Another grandson wanted a quilt with all the baseball teams except the Yankees. I need that shirt! I always put in a length or two of floss with my coffee before I go to work. If I’m not working I just continue stitching! 🤣
