Hello Cap, small question in relation to the F15E but not the Jsow. The question is, at what point in fuel/weight configuration can the F15E get close to the performance of the F15C? (note; i'm aware the E isn't the C model but i try to seek the performance peak for A2A tactics in the E variant to become more proficient in it. And the E is at least multirole/full fidelty E.A) I have been trying to fly with the F15E with empty CFT's so the fuel capacity is more like a normal C, thinking it closes the gap to the C variant at least a bit. Sacrificing range. I know with drag from CFTS and more weight and other details the E wont ever be as good a C but they share the same frame so i try to get the best A/A performance, from what i read, at 50% internal fuel it behaves similar to the C/D models but it is just gossip so far. nothing to backup the claim. Regards!
Mine just literally crushes itself like a coke can against armor. Doesnt deploy bomblets or anything. Just smacks into the hull like a nerf dart. Ive tried all 3 fuzings
What i mean is. The jsow just literally flies into the designated target. It doesnt explode, doesnt jettison munitions nothing. It hits the point and disappears into thin air. Also noticed they dont “fall” off the bomb rack. It shoots off like its rocket assisted for 2seconds. May need to delete my .lua and redownload a fresh copy. Even tho mines never been messed with
Weird, why are his actually blowing up targets? Mine damages the but only like 10% and it certainly doesn't destroy any. Ah well, more fenagaling I guess.
wind affects them greatly when they parachute. based off winds at ground level i would offset the tgt. Also use more than 1 wpn will give you greater success.
just too bad that jsows curently are ignoring TERM settings. Let´s hope they fix this soon for that functionality is kind of half the use of those birds :)
Have not played DCS in ages and don't need to - CAP's / GR's videos are just excellent - thank you.
Cheaper than the alternative too 😂
finally a stand off weapon for the F-15E!
Useless.
Yeaaahhhh idk man it’s kinda scuffed
This is a nice addition, but nothing compared to JASSM and SDB.
Glider bomb, on one of the most powerful fighter bomber ever! Woosh!!!
Maybe we will also get the B variant (15e was approved for this weapon, but not sure it was ever deployed or even purchased for it )
B variant was canceled irl
Love me some Grim Reapers tutorials!

A big patch has come out with a lot of changes so we need to spend a few days documenting the changes.
Ahhhhh yes!
when mavericks?

Interesting question, will need to investigate.
YEEES FINALLYYYYY
Funny, I talked to an F15E WSO and he hadn't even heard of a JSOW.
Is there any plan to get the gbu-39?
Yes Bignewy has stated that ED is in the process of making it for "aircraft that carry then like the F-15E"
Dear cap i have watched your video for the f-18c atflir vs litening ll and i still don’t know which one to use can i have you opinion
Litening always. Simply because it's a uniform TPG throughout DCS.
Do you have to be high and fast to fire that weapon?
Cap back in the tutorial seat....it must be christmas

What type of armour? This is not for tanks. Just light APCs and un-armoured.

Might be fuzing or just incorrectly setup targets but idk
@@delta9990 was a mod after an update that was messing with a bunch of different weapons :/

For me only worked against very light armour.
The A Variant uses cluster ammunition, effective against non-armored or lightly armored units. Very little to zero effect on heavy armored units.
